🔹 Testimony of Curse: The Connection of Ashura to the Cursed Line of Bani Israel

📜 The Text from Ziyarat Mutlaqah
In an authentic Ziyarat Mutlaqah for Imam Husayn (عليه‌السلام) we read:

وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ الَّذِينَ سَفَكُوا دَمَكَ، وَ اسْتَحَلُّوا حُرْمَتَكَ، مَلْعُونُونَ مُعَذَّبُونَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُودَ وَ عِيسَى بْنِ مَرْيَمَ، ذٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَ كَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ.
“I bear witness that truly those who shed your blood 🩸 and violated your sanctity ⚔️ are cursed and tormented by the tongue of David and Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon them). This is because they disobeyed and were habitual transgressors.”
(Kamil al-Ziyarat, Chapter 79, p. 208, Hadith 6)

Who are these people cursed by Prophet Dawud and Prophet ‘Isa (peace be upon them both)? The answer is not hidden — it is explicitly declared in the Qur’an:

لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُودَ وَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَ كَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ
