๐Ÿ”น Proving the Role of the Jews in the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธโš”๏ธ In this brief article, we present documented evidence ๐Ÿ“ that shows how the Jews โœก๏ธ played an active role in the tragedy of Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), orchestratingโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ”น Testimony of Curse: The Connection of Ashura to the Cursed Line of Bani Israel

๐Ÿ“œ The Text from Ziyarat Mutlaqah
In an authentic Ziyarat Mutlaqah for Imam Husayn (ุนู„ูŠู‡โ€Œุงู„ุณู„ุงู…) we read:

โ€œI bear witness that truly those who shed your blood ๐Ÿฉธ and violated your sanctity โš”๏ธ are cursed and tormented by the tongue of David and Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon them). This is because they disobeyed and were habitual transgressors.โ€
(Kamil al-Ziyarat, Chapter 79, p. 208, Hadith 6)

โ“ The Question

Who are these people cursed by Prophet Dawud and Prophet โ€˜Isa (peace be upon them both)? The answer is not hidden โ€” it is explicitly declared in the Qurโ€™an:

๐ŸŒ™ Qurโ€™anic Confirmation โ€” Surah Al-Maโ€™idah, Ayah 78

โ€œCursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and habitually transgressed.โ€ ๐Ÿ•Š (Qurโ€™an 5:78)

โšก๏ธ Insight

This direct testimony is a clear sign ๐Ÿ” that the cursed line of Bani Israel โ€” the same disobedient and transgressive group โ€” holds a central role in the tragic event of Karbala. Their spiritual and ideological heirs plotted against the beloved grandson of the Prophet ๏ทบ, continuing the same rebellious legacy condemned by Dawud and โ€˜Isa (ุนู„ูŠู‡ู…ุง ุงู„ุณู„ุงู…).

And this is only one piece of evidence โ€” more proofs unfold to show how the hand of Jewish conspirators was deeply involved in the Ashura tragedy. Stay tuned for further documented signs.

๐Ÿ•Ž The Cursed Tribe โ€” Part VI: The Forty Years of Wandering in the Desert
https://jscenter.ir/jewish-history/israelites/10557

After long years of divine struggle and miracles, Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) led the Children of Israel to the threshold of the Promised Land โ€” Canaan. Yet, despite witnessing countless signs of Godโ€™s power, they refused to fight in the cause of God and enter the land that was promised to them.

Out of fear, rebellion, and spiritual weakness, they said to their prophet:

โ€œGo, you and your Lord, and fight. We will sit here.โ€ (cf. Qurโ€™an 5:24)

Moses, heartbroken by their disobedience, prayed:

โ€œMy Lord, I have power only over myself and my brother; so separate us from the defiantly disobedient people.โ€
(Surah al-Maโ€™idah, 5:25)

God responded to this prayer with a severe decree:

โ€œThen the land will surely be forbidden to them for forty years; they will wander aimlessly throughout the earth. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people.โ€
(Surah al-Maโ€™idah, 5:26)

๐ŸŒต Thus began the forty years of bewilderment in the desert of Sinai, a divine punishment that caused a whole generation to perish before they could reach the Promised Land. Even though Moses remained among them, his guidance could not benefit a nation lost in disobedience and arrogance.

During these years, their sustenance came miraculously: clouds shaded them, heavenly food โ€” manna and quails โ€” descended upon them, and twelve springs burst forth from stone. Yet their hearts remained hardened. When Moses (AS) finally passed away, his resting place remained unknown โ€” a symbol of a nation that had lost its spiritual direction even while surrounded by divine mercy.

โš–๏ธ After Moses, Joshua ibn Nun (AS) succeeded him, leading the next generation of Israelites across the Jordan River. With divine support, they entered Jericho and began their conquest of the Promised Land. But soon after Joshuaโ€™s passing, unity dissolved.
Tribal divisions deepened, idol worship returned, and the people mixed the pure worship of God with pagan rituals โ€” worshipping Baal and Astarte alongside the Lord of Heaven.

Their spiritual decline continued through the era of judges and prophets until they demanded a king โ€” Saul (แนฌฤlลซt) โ€” and later followed David (Dฤwลซd) and Solomon (Sulaymฤn), whose reigns represented their last age of divine favor. After Solomonโ€™s death, the kingdom split into two rival states โ€” Israel in the north and Judah in the south โ€” setting the stage for their long history of corruption, conquest, and exile.

๐Ÿ“œ The Qurโ€™an summarizes their tragic journey in one verse โ€” a timeless warning to all nations:

โ€œAsk the Children of Israel how many clear signs We gave them. But whoever changes Godโ€™s favor after it has come to him โ€” indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.โ€
(Surah al-Baqarah, 2:211)

They saw the sea split, Pharaoh drown, the mountain raised above them, and heavenly food descend โ€” yet they replaced divine truth with rebellion and pride. The covenant was broken, the faith corrupted, and thus began the long road of deviation that history remembers as the โ€œCurse of the Tribe.โ€

๐Ÿ”ด Temple Culture and the Tribes of Israel: The Story of the โ€œCursed Tribeโ€ โ€“ Part 9 https://jscenter.ir/jewish-history/israelites/11183 Throughout history, the Israelite people maintained a strictly temple-centered culture, perhaps more rigidly than any neighboringโ€ฆ
Hosea warns that priests turned sacred practicesโ€”sacrifices, festivals, and offeringsโ€”into tools of exploitation. They engaged with temple prostitutes and corrupted public morality, while divine knowledge and love were ignored.

๐ŸŒŒ The Legacy of the Temple Culture

The Israelite temple system, deeply influenced by Canaanite and pagan traditions, became a vehicle for corruption and exploitation. Through priests, the โ€œCursed Tribeโ€ propagated false rituals, blending divine precepts with occult practices and magical rites, leading people away from true prophetic guidance.

Even Mosesโ€™ teachings, meant to uplift humanity, were distorted by temple priests. Prophets of Israel consistently opposed this corruption, exposing the false sanctity of temple rituals and urging people to return to justice, love, and knowledge of God.

In short: the priests, empowered by tradition and ritual, became intermediaries not of divine will, but of worldly power and deception. Only through the guidance of true prophets could the people distinguish the path of truth from the snares of false piety.

๐Ÿ“œ Conclusion

The temple culture of ancient Israel illustrates a timeless warning: ritual without justice and knowledge corrupts the soul. True guidance is found not in ceremonial fire or sacrifice alone, but in the integration of divine law, ethical conduct, and sincere devotion.

Even today, the lessons remain: authority without accountability, and ritual without virtue, leads societies astray. The prophets of old continue to inspire us to seek the path of wisdom, truth, and divine justice.
