🔴 The World on the Brink of the Sufyani's Emergence

✍️ Mustafa Amiri

▪️In his highly significant Ashura speech during Muharram 1446 AH, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah publicly shared his views for the first time on Surah Al-Isra, the era of war, the punishment of the Jews of Bani Israel, and the reference to "Our servants" in the Quran.

▪️What stood out the most was his emphasis on the Quranic phrase "إِنْ ‏عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا" (If you return, We will return).

▪️Nasrallah's focus on this phrase carries an important message for both friends and foes. According to hadiths from the Imams, directed at the corrupt Jews, it is stated that if they return with the Sufyani, we will return with the last divine savior, Imam Al-Mahdi.

▪️"إِنْ عُدْتُمْ عُدْنَا" (Surah Al-Isra, Ayah 8) means "If you return with the Sufyani, We will return with the Qa'im from the family of Muhammad" (Tafsir Al-Qummi, Vol. 2, p. 14).

▪️By emphasizing this part of Surah Al-Isra, Nasrallah seeks to convey that the world is on the brink of the Sufyani's emergence. Additionally, the corruption of the Jews will undoubtedly face divine retribution and suppression, culminating in the appearance of Imam Al-Mahdi according to the Quranic principle.

In Islamic eschatology, particularly within Shia beliefs, Iran, historically referred to as Persia, is deeply intertwined with the events preceding the appearance of Imam Mahdi (A.S.), the awaited savior and final Imam. Several Quranic verses and hadiths from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Imams suggest that the land of Iran and its people will play a critical role in the lead-up to the end times.

Quranic Insight:

The Quran hints at the significance of a group of people who will emerge in support of divine truth in the latter days:

"O you who have believed, whoever among you should revert from his religion – Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him, [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic." (Quran 5:54)

Scholars often interpret this verse as referring to the people of Persia, who will stand firm in their faith and play a key role in the global movement leading to the appearance of Imam Mahdi.

Hadith on Iran's Role:

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is reported to have emphasized the spiritual and revolutionary potential of the Persian people:

"If knowledge were suspended in the Pleiades, it would be attained by a group of men from Persia." (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2546)

This hadith highlights the deep connection between the people of Iran and the preservation and dissemination of Islamic knowledge, which is believed to be a precursor to the rise of Imam Mahdi. It suggests that Iran will be a center of learning and resistance against the forces of falsehood and oppression.

Imam Ali (A.S.) on Iran's Significance:

Imam Ali (A.S.) also pointed to significant events in Iran in the context of the end times:

"A fire will appear in the East for seventy days, and the people of the West will be enveloped by darkness. Then, after the emergence of a fierce conflict, a figure will rise in the East, bringing about great change." (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, Hadith 210)

This narration is often seen as symbolic of the turmoil and transformation that will occur in Iran. The "fire" could represent widespread unrest, revolutions, or a major spiritual awakening within the country. The "figure" who rises in the East is interpreted by some scholars as a reference to a leader or a movement from Iran that will play a pivotal role in paving the way for Imam Mahdi’s emergence.

The Role of the Iranian People:

Imam Baqir (A.S.) also elaborated on the role of the Iranian people, stating:

"There will be a people from the East who will prepare the way for the Mahdi, and their efforts will lead to his ultimate rise." (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 51, Hadith 87)

This hadith underscores the belief that the people of Iran will be instrumental in the global movement that supports and establishes the reign of Imam Mahdi. Their efforts, characterized by faith, resistance, and a commitment to justice, will set the stage for the Mahdi’s rise and the establishment of a just global order.

Current Events in Light of Prophecies:

Many believe that the current political, social, and spiritual dynamics in Iran are fulfilling these prophecies. The nation’s commitment to upholding Islamic values, despite external pressures and internal challenges, is seen as a continuation of its divinely ordained role in the lead-up to the appearance of Imam Mahdi. The turmoil and resistance movements within Iran may be viewed as part of the trials that precede the establishment of Imam Mahdi's rule.

In conclusion, the events in Iran are deeply significant within Islamic eschatology, particularly in the Shia tradition. The people of Iran are believed to be chosen to play a pivotal role in the global movement that will bring about the rise of Imam Mahdi (A.S.), leading to a world filled with justice, peace, and divine guidance.

🔸 In today's society, religion has lost its essence, and existing religions have drifted from the teachings of the prophets and divine successors (AS). As a result, they lack the effectiveness to guide individuals and communities. For example, today Netanyahu…
🔹 In any case, as religion has faded in today’s society, religious exaggerations are no longer a focus; instead, political exaggerations have taken center stage. One of the most significant political exaggerations is portraying the occupying regime of Palestine as formidable and powerful. Yet, without the backing of the U.S. and Western nations, Hamas alone could have permanently ended Israel's presence.

🔴 A prevalent political exaggeration worldwide is the portrayal of those with brute force as those with true power. However, the elements of brute force and true power are distinct. America, armed with nuclear weapons and backed by the dollar, has subdued the world into servitude. This country wields brute force, but it lacks true power. Divine leaders pursue the elements of true power within politics, while the leaders of disbelief and colonialism rely on brute force, aligning themselves with those of wealth and deceit.

Conditions and How the Transfer of Power from Tyrants to Righteous Servants Takes Place The Quran highlights the divine tradition of transferring power from oppressors to the righteous and outlines the conditions and steps for this transition. This is not…
📌 Obstacles to the Transfer of Power: Those Who Resist the Rise of the Righteous

The transfer of power from oppressors to the righteous is a divine law. However, certain individuals and groups strive to prevent this transition. Their interests are tied to the continuation of corruption and oppression, and they employ various tactics to maintain their dominance.

The Quran identifies these groups and their methods of resistance against this divine promise.

✅ 1. Tyrants & Oppressors: The Main Enemies of Change

📖 "Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder people from the way of Allah. They will spend it, then it will become a source of regret for them, and then they will be defeated..." (Al-Anfal 8:36)

📌 Analysis:
🔹 Tyrants and oppressors invest heavily to block any change in governance.
🔹 They spend on propaganda, corruption, repression, and deception to maintain their rule.
🔹 However, their efforts will ultimately lead to regret and their inevitable defeat.

✅ 2. Hypocrites: The Internal Traitors Preventing the Rise of the Righteous

📖 "And when they meet the believers, they say, 'We believe.' But when they are alone with their devils, they say, 'Indeed, we are with you; we were only mocking.'" (Al-Baqarah 2:14)

📌 Analysis:
🔹 Hypocrites pretend to be believers but secretly align with the enemies of righteousness.
🔹 They betray the movement for justice at critical moments.
🔹 Their hidden agenda weakens the righteous from within, obstructing the transition of power.

✅ 3. Fear & Intimidation to Prevent the Uprising of the Righteous

📖 "It is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So do not fear them, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers." (Aal-e-Imran 3:175)

📌 Analysis:
🔹 The enemy tries to instill fear through threats of war, sanctions, humiliation, and economic pressures.
🔹 This fear-mongering is a satanic tactic to prevent the righteous from rising.
🔹 True believers should rely only on Allah and not be intimidated.

✅ 4. Spreading Doubt & Misleading the Masses

📖 "And those who disbelieve say: 'Do not listen to this Quran, and make noise during its recitation, perhaps you will prevail.'" (Fussilat 41:26)

📌 Analysis:
🔹 One strategy to block change is creating doubt and confusion among people.
🔹 Disbelievers instructed their followers to ignore and distort the truth.
🔹 This same method is used today by oppressive regimes through misinformation and media manipulation.

✅ 5. Promoting Corruption & Immorality to Weaken Society

📖 "Indeed, those who love that immorality should spread among the believers will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter." (An-Nur 24:19)

📌 Analysis:
🔹 Corrupt forces deliberately spread moral and intellectual decay to weaken society.
🔹 A morally corrupt society loses the drive to demand justice and change.
🔹 People engrossed in materialism and vice are less likely to rise against oppression.

📌 Final Takeaway: Who Blocks the Rise of the Righteous & How?

✅ 1. Tyrants spend wealth to suppress change. (Al-Anfal 8:36)
✅ 2. Hypocrites infiltrate and betray the righteous from within. (Al-Baqarah 2:14)
✅ 3. Fear tactics are used to discourage resistance. (Aal-e-Imran 3:175)
✅ 4. Misinformation and propaganda distort the truth. (Fussilat 41:26)
✅ 5. Corruption is spread to weaken moral resolve. (An-Nur 24:19)

🔹 To establish a just government, believers must recognize and neutralize these obstacles.

🔴 The Demonic Rulers and the “Dog Days” of Humanity Before the Reappearance

✍️ Mostafa Amiri

Among the future-oriented insights of Mahdism is the terrifying depiction of the world on the eve of the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance). When one reads these narrations, fear overtakes the soul, prompting one to whisper the prayer of the drowning — a plea for salvation in a time of overwhelming moral and social decay.

These apocalyptic narrations describe:

▪️ “The Qa’im (Imam Mahdi) will not rise except in a time of intense fear and terror among people, widespread earthquakes, seditions, plagues, and afflictions. People will experience intense division, religious confusion, and a drastic change in conditions, to the point where some will long for death morning and evening due to the ferocity and dog-like behavior of people—preying upon one another.”

▪️ All of this is the result of the wickedness of the “demonic humans” (Shayatin al-Insi) who dominate the world — not the doing of Imam Mahdi himself. These events are preludes to the reappearance, preparing humanity to recognize the desperate need for a divine savior and the presence of the Perfect Human Being.

▪️ It seems we are still far from such a state, experiencing the eerie calm before the storm...

Reference from Shi’a Source:

“The Qa’im shall not rise except in a time of intense fear and terror among people, earthquakes, seditions, plagues... and extreme divisions in religion, and people wishing for death due to the dog-like savagery of mankind.” 📚 Al-Ghaybah, al-Nu'mani, p. 235, 254

Key Concepts Explained:

Severe Fear & Calamities: Global insecurity, wars, and crises.

Earthquakes & Plagues: Natural and divine warnings through disasters and pandemics.

Religious Fragmentation: Widespread sectarianism and ideological distortions.

Despair and Death Wishes: Economic, social, and cultural collapse driving people to hopelessness.

Dog-like Behavior (Kalab al-Nas): Savage, inhumane interactions—whether literal (like zombies) or metaphorical (exploitation, injustice, tyranny).

Linguistic Notes:

Kalab (كَلَب): Evil, madness, savage frenzy, a disease likened to rabies, causing humans to harm one another.

“Kalab: resembles madness” (Riyadh al-Shaykh)

“Kalab of a person: his evil and harm” (Al-Sihah)

“Kalab: torment and destruction inflicted by fate” (Al-Ghaybah)

Description of the World Before the Reappearance:

▪️ Global pandemics
▪️ Regional and world wars
▪️ Religious and ideological disunity
▪️ Moral corruption and global injustice
▪️ Loss of humanity and rise of bestial behavior during crises
▪️ Rule of the demonic elite — humans with satanic traits: injustice, deception, colonialism, exploitation

Eventually, after this global breakdown, people will cry out in desperation for justice and salvation — only then will they deeply feel the need for the divine leader, and the global justice of Imam al-Mahdi will manifest.

May we live to see that day.

A Beneficial or Detrimental Return? A Qur'anic and Narrational Explanation of Verse 12 of Surah An-Nazi'at 🔍📖 In verse 12 of Surah An-Nazi'at, it is stated: ﴿قالُوا تِلْكَ إِذاً كَرَّةٌ خاسِرَةٌ﴾ “They say: If there is a return, it will be a losing return.”…
🌿 The Heavenly Abode of Wilayah – A Wilāya-Based Reflection on Surah Nazi‘āt, Verse 41

In Surah Nazi‘āt, verse 41, Allah says:

﴿فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى﴾
"Indeed, Paradise is [his] refuge."
(Qur’an 79:41)

This verse describes the final destination of those who feared their Lord and restrained their souls from following desire. But there's a profound insight from the Wilāya-based interpretation preserved in the words of one of the greatest companions of the Prophet, Ibn Abbas (may Allah have mercy on him):

🌸 Paradise: The Refuge of Ali and His Followers

Ibn Abbas says:

"فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِیَ الْمَأْوَى، خَاصّاً لِعَلِیٍّ (ع) وَمَنْ كَانَ عَلَى مَنْهَاجِهِ"
“Indeed, Paradise is the abode — specifically for Ali (peace be upon him) and those who follow his path.”
(Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, vol. 17, p. 368)

This sheds light on a subtle truth: Paradise is not just the reward for piety — it is the natural abode of those who hold fast to the Wilayah of Ali (peace be upon him) and remain steadfast on his way.

🌍 Mahdī Perspective & Today’s Message

From a Mahdī (aj) perspective, this verse is a reminder that in the time of the reappearance and the establishment of divine justice by the awaited Imam (may Allah hasten his reappearance), those who walk in the path of Ali (a.s.) and AhlulBayt will inherit not only Paradise in the Hereafter but also peace and security in this world.

Following Ali is the path to salvation and the garden of eternal peace.
Those who never part from the way of Ali and Mahdi (peace be upon them) will find their abode in nothing but God’s pleasure and the highest paradise.

🔍 Tafsir of Surah Al-Ma’idah, Ayah 44 — Through the Teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)

"Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light... and whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed — they are the disbelievers."
(Qur’an 5:44)

💎 Key Insights from the Ahl al-Bayt (a):

1️⃣ This verse was revealed about the Ahl al-Bayt (a)
Imam al-Baqir (a) said:

"This verse was revealed about us."
(📚 Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 23, p. 193 | al-‘Ayyashi, vol. 1, p. 322)

2️⃣ The Conditions of Imamate
Imam al-Sadiq (a) outlines the traits of a true Imam:

Infallibility (Ismah)

Complete knowledge of halal & haram

Deep understanding of:
- Clear and ambiguous verses
- Abrogating and abrogated rulings
- Inner meanings and divine wisdom of the Qur’an

“Imams are not prophets, but they raise the people through their divine knowledge.”
(📚 Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 25, p. 149 | al-‘Ayyashi, vol. 1, p. 322)

3️⃣ "Istuhfizu" vs. "Hummilu"
The term "bima istuhfizu" (entrusted with) suggests a divine trust, not mere outward preservation.
It alludes to the cosmic guardianship (Wilayah Takwiniyyah) of the Imams.

⚠️ Qur’anic Warning:
Those who reject divine laws while knowing the truth are labeled as disbelievers:
"And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed — they are the disbelievers." (5:44)

This applies to anyone who knowingly turns away from God's command.

🔗 Linked Verses:

Surah Fatir states:
"Only those who truly fear Allah among His servants are the scholars." (35:28)
This shows that only divinely guided scholars—pure from sin—deserve to lead.

💡 Conclusion:

The Ahl al-Bayt (a) are the rightful inheritors of divine knowledge and guardians of the Qur’an.

Any governance not based on divine law leads its people toward disbelief.

Recognizing the infallible Imam is the only path to salvation.

✨ "Glad tidings to the one who clings to their Wilayah!"

🌿 Divine Promise & The Path of Truth
(Reflections on Quran 5:65 & the Prophet's (ص) Guidance)

📖 Quran 5:65
"If only the People of the Scripture had believed and been righteous, We would have absolved them of their sins and admitted them into Gardens of Bliss."

🔹 Key Message:
- Salvation is not exclusive to any group—it depends on faith (īmān) and righteousness (taqwā).
- Even Ahl al-Kitāb (Jews/Christians) are promised Paradise if they uphold truth and justice.

---

⚡ The Prophet’s (ص) Warning: 73 Sects & the Saved Group
From Anas ibn Mālik (رضي الله عنه):
"The Ummah of Mūsā (ع) split into 71 sects—70 in Hell, 1 in Paradise. The Ummah of Īsā (ع) split into 72 sects—71 in Hell, 1 in Paradise. But my Ummah will surpass them all: 1 saved group, and 72 in the Fire."

When asked "Who are the saved ones?" the Prophet (ص) replied:
"Al-Jamā‘ah, Al-Jamā‘ah" (The United Community).

📜 Imam Ali (ع) would recite Quran 5:65 alongside this hadith, emphasizing:
- True salvation lies in following divine guidance, not blind sectarianism.
- The "saved group" is those who cling to the Truth (Ḥaqq) and uphold justice. (Quran 7:181)

---

💡 Lessons for Today:
1️⃣ Unity in Truth: The Prophet (ص) warned against division—only those united under divine leadership (Ahl al-Bayt ع) are guaranteed salvation.
2️⃣ Justice Over Labels: Quran 5:65 proves faith + action matter more than religious titles.
3️⃣ The Prophet’s Legacy: Imam Ali (ع) linked this hadith to Quranic verses, showing Islam’s continuity with past revelations.

🌺 Final Thought:
"The ‘saved sect’ isn’t a name—it’s a path: the path of those who hold fast to the rope of Allah and never divide."

🌿 Surah Al-An‘am – Verse 44 🌿

"And when they forgot that which they were reminded of, We opened to them the doors of everything, until they rejoiced in what they were given. Then We seized them suddenly, and behold, they were in despair." ✨📖

🔹 Key Lessons:

1️⃣ Neglecting the Guardianship of Imam Ali (AS)

When people abandoned the Wilaya of Ali (AS) despite being commanded to follow it, they were shown blessings temporarily, only to face sudden consequences. ⚡

📚 Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 31, p. 523; Tafsir Nur al-Thaqalayn

2⃣ The Danger of Abundant Blessings

The Prophet (SAW) warned: When God gives His servant what they love while they persist in sin, it is a sign of ‘istidraj’ (gradual lead to punishment). ⚠️

Imam Ali (AS) said: "O son of Adam! If you see your Lord sending consecutive blessings, beware of them." 🌟

📚 Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 64, p. 198-199

3⃣ Sudden Consequences for the Wicked

Imam Baqir (AS) and Imam Sadiq (AS) narrated that God took the Umayyads suddenly, and the Abbasids openly, as punishment for injustice and disobedience. ⚡

This verse also alludes to the emergence of the Qa’im (AS) who will bring justice after the corruption of the world. ✨

📚 Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 31 & 35; Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 4

4⃣ Worldly Wealth Can Be a Trial

Imam Sadiq (AS) said: "God opens this world to people because of their sins, to distract them from repentance; thus, worldly abundance becomes a punishment for sin." 💰❌

📚 Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 4, p. 388; Qummi, Vol. 1, p. 199

💡 Takeaway:
Blessings, wealth, and power are tests, not guarantees of safety. Forgetfulness of God and neglecting the rightful guidance lead to sudden downfall. Always seek obedience, spread goodness, and remember the source of every blessing. 🌱✨

🌿 Surah Al-An‘ām, Verse 160 — The Infinite Mercy of Allah "Whoever comes [before Allah] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [to his credit], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will…
🌿 Qur’anic Reflection | Surah Al-An‘ām – Verse 160

“Whoever brings a good deed shall receive tenfold like it, and whoever brings an evil deed shall be requited only with the like of it, and they shall not be wronged.” (6:160)

🌸 The True Meaning of “Good Deed” and “Evil Deed”

According to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), this verse unveils a deep spiritual truth:
The greatest good deed (الحسنة) is love and recognition of the Ahl al-Bayt, and the greatest evil deed (السيئة) is hatred or denial of their rights.

💠 Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:

“The good deed is our love and the recognition of our right; the evil deed is enmity toward us and denial of our right.”
📚 Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, vol. 4, p. 662

💠 Imam al-Baqir (a.s.) explained:

“The ‘good deed’ that Allah mentions is our Wilayah (Divinely ordained guardianship), and the ‘evil deed’ is enmity toward us.”
📚 Al-Burhān fi Tafsir al-Qur’an

💠 He also said:

“The good deed is the Wilayah of ‘Ali (a.s.) and love for him; the evil deed is hatred toward him.”
📚 Bahr al-‘Irfan, vol. 6, p. 525

🌷 Universal Mercy, But Exclusive Reward

Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) clarified that this verse applies to believers in Wilayah specifically:

“The verse ‘Whoever brings a good deed shall have tenfold of it’ refers to the believers.
If someone performs good deeds without Wilayah, Allah rewards him in this world—but in the Hereafter, he has no share.”
📚 Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, vol. 4, p. 662

However, those who do not oppose Ahl al-Bayt yet live righteously, will enter Paradise by Allah’s mercy.

🌺 The Reward of Wilayah

Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:

“Whoever brings a good deed along with Wilayah, he will have tenfold of it.
But those who bring an evil deed — hatred toward us — their faces will be thrown into the Fire, and they will not be delivered from it.”
📚 Tafsir al-Furat al-Kufi, p. 139

He further explained that:

“The good deed that protects from the terror of the Day of Judgment is our Wilayah and our love.”

🌿 Hidden Wisdom

Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) also said:

“The good deed is to conceal our teachings;
and the evil deed is to disclose our secrets to those unworthy of them.”
📚 Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, vol. 4, p. 664

🌞 Reflection

The Qur’an teaches us that true goodness is not just moral conduct, but spiritual allegiance — love for those whom Allah has made the standard of truth.
Without Wilayah, deeds are mere forms without light.
With Wilayah, even a small act shines tenfold in divine measure.

🌿 The Divine Scale of Truth — Surah Al-A‘raf, Verse 8

وَ الْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوازينُهُ فَأُولئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
“And the weighing on that Day will be the truth. So whoever’s scales are heavy—it is they who will be the successful.”
📖 (Surah Al-A‘raf, 7:8)

🌌 The Day When All Deeds Will Be Weighed by Truth

On the Day of Resurrection, every act will be measured—not by worldly standards of fame or recognition, but by Truth (al-Ḥaqq) itself.
No falsehood will alter the scale, and no injustice will pass unnoticed.
The balance of deeds will reveal who lived by divine sincerity and who strayed from it.

Imam al-Bāqir (a) explained that this verse “was revealed concerning us, the Ahl al-Bayt.”
📚 (Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, vol.5, p.22 / Biḥār al-Anwār, vol.24, p.258)

Indeed, the true measure of every believer’s life will be their connection to the guardians of truth — the pure Household of the Prophet ﷺ.

⚖️ Imam ‘Alī (a): The Living Scale of Deeds

The Prophet ﷺ said to Imam ‘Alī (a):

“O ‘Alī! You are the judge of this Ummah, the one who will take account of them. You are the Great Pillar of God on the Day of Judgment.
The return is to you, the reckoning is upon you, the Path is your Path, the Scale is your Scale, and the Standing Place is your Standing Place.”
📚 (Biḥār al-Anwār, vol.24, p.272)

Hence, ‘Alī (a) is not only the standard of justice but the very balance by which all deeds will be measured.
In the Ziyārāt we read;

“Peace be upon you, O Scale of Deeds.”
“Peace be upon you, O the most perfect and exalted Balance.”
📚 (Biḥār al-Anwār, vol.97, p.287)

💫 What Truly Weighs Heavy

Imam ‘Alī (a) said:

“Truthfulness is the sword of Allah in His heavens and on His earth.
If you wish to know whether you are truthful or false, examine your inner self and your intention,
and weigh it with the divine scale mentioned in His Word:
‘The weighing on that Day will be the truth.’
When your intention aligns with your word, your truthfulness is proven.”
📚 (Miṣbāḥ al-Sharī‘ah / Biḥār al-Anwār, vol.68, p.10)

🌷 The Meaning of the Balance

Imam ‘Alī (a) also taught that “the heavy or light balance” refers to the abundance or scarcity of one’s reckoning:

• Some will be judged lightly and return to their families joyfully.

• Some will enter Paradise without any reckoning, for they remained pure from worldly corruption.

• Others will face a detailed account for every small deed and will end up in torment.

• And the leaders of disbelief and misguidance will have no weight at all, for they disregarded the commands of God.
📚 (Biḥār al-Anwār, vol.90, p.98)

🌿 The Essence of the Scale

According to ʿAlī ibn Ibrāhīm al-Qummī,

“The weighing on that Day means recompense according to deeds — good for good, and evil for evil.
Those who deny the Imams have wronged the signs of God.”
📚 (Tafsīr al-Qummī, vol.1, p.223)

🌸 A Subtle Truth from Imam al-Bāqir (a)

“Good deeds are heavy upon the people of the world according to how heavy they are in their scales on the Day of Judgment.
And evil deeds seem light to them here according to how light they are in the Hereafter.”
📚 (Biḥār al-Anwār, vol.68, p.215)

🌺 The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Five things weigh heavily in the Scale:
Subḥānallāh, al-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāh, Allāhu akbar,
and a righteous child who dies, while the parent remains patient and seeks reward from Allah.”
📚 (Biḥār al-Anwār, vol.79, p.115)

🕊 Reflections

The verse “And the weighing on that Day will be the truth” reminds us that the only measure of success is alignment with the Divine Truth — the Truth embodied in the Prophet and his Ahl al-Bayt (a).
Every intention, word, and deed will one day stand before this scale — and the only weight that endures will be truth, sincerity, and love for the guardians of God.

🔴 Temple Culture and the Tribes of Israel: The Story of the “Cursed Tribe” – Part 9 https://jscenter.ir/jewish-history/israelites/11183 Throughout history, the Israelite people maintained a strictly temple-centered culture, perhaps more rigidly than any neighboring…
Hosea warns that priests turned sacred practices—sacrifices, festivals, and offerings—into tools of exploitation. They engaged with temple prostitutes and corrupted public morality, while divine knowledge and love were ignored.

🌌 The Legacy of the Temple Culture

The Israelite temple system, deeply influenced by Canaanite and pagan traditions, became a vehicle for corruption and exploitation. Through priests, the “Cursed Tribe” propagated false rituals, blending divine precepts with occult practices and magical rites, leading people away from true prophetic guidance.

Even Moses’ teachings, meant to uplift humanity, were distorted by temple priests. Prophets of Israel consistently opposed this corruption, exposing the false sanctity of temple rituals and urging people to return to justice, love, and knowledge of God.

In short: the priests, empowered by tradition and ritual, became intermediaries not of divine will, but of worldly power and deception. Only through the guidance of true prophets could the people distinguish the path of truth from the snares of false piety.

📜 Conclusion

The temple culture of ancient Israel illustrates a timeless warning: ritual without justice and knowledge corrupts the soul. True guidance is found not in ceremonial fire or sacrifice alone, but in the integration of divine law, ethical conduct, and sincere devotion.

Even today, the lessons remain: authority without accountability, and ritual without virtue, leads societies astray. The prophets of old continue to inspire us to seek the path of wisdom, truth, and divine justice.

🌑 The Distinct Traits of the Jewish People — Part 1 (Based on Qur’anic Verses, Biblical Evidence, and Historical Records) https://jscenter.ir/jewish-studies/jewish-traits/2597 📖 1. Hostility Toward Divine Religion Among all the historical characteristics…
Allāmah Ṭabāṭabā’ī explains (under Qur’an 2:49–54):

“The Israelites were a nation bound together by strong racial ties. They acted as one body — what one did, all approved.”

Jewish scholars themselves affirm this notion. Leon Simon, a prominent Jewish thinker, admits:

“Unlike Christianity, Judaism offers no promise of personal salvation of the soul; all Jewish ideals are tied to the existence of the Jewish nation itself.”

Similarly, a leading figure of early Zionism declared:

“Every Jew, willingly or unwillingly, is bound by the unbreakable tie of Jewish nationality; Judaism is, before all else, a form of Jewish patriotism.”

This tribal exclusivity became their religion — an identity based not on divine obedience but on ethnic pride.

In contrast, Islam proclaims:

“Indeed, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.”
(Qur’an 49:13)

While the Israelites used nationalism to ensure internal unity and survival, it also fueled centuries of arrogance and alienation, paving the way for the ideology later known as Zionism.

📖 3. The Illusion of Superiority

Closely tied to their nationalism is the notion of being the “Chosen People.” This sense of superiority — the belief that divine favor belongs solely to them — has justified centuries of injustice toward others.

“And the Jews said, ‘The Christians have no basis (for their claims).’”
(Qur’an 2:113)

“And when it is said to them, ‘Believe in what Allah has revealed,’ they say, ‘We believe in what was revealed to us,’ and they disbelieve in what came after it, even though it is the truth confirming what is with them.”
(Qur’an 2:91)

This selective faith turns divine revelation into a tool of power, not a path to humility. Even in their own texts, God is said to have chosen them as His “firstborn son”:

“Thus says the Lord, Israel is My son, My firstborn.” (Exodus 4:22)

Such interpretations gave rise to the belief that non-Jews are inferior beings — a doctrine later systematized in the Talmud:

“The difference between a Jew and a non-Jew is like that between a man and an animal.”

Scholars such as Israel Shahak, a Jewish intellectual and critic of Zionism, have exposed how modern Zionist policies draw directly from these Talmudic notions of supremacy and exclusivity.

📚 Conclusion

From blasphemy and prophet-killing to racial arrogance and self-deification, the historical record of the Israelites reflects a continuous struggle between divine mercy and human rebellion. The Qur’an recounts their story not for condemnation alone, but as a moral warning to all nations — that faith without humility leads not to salvation, but to destruction.

“O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds. But fear a Day when no soul shall avail another, nor shall intercession or ransom be accepted.”
(Qur’an 2:47–48)

🌟 The Supreme Leader, Imam Khamenei:

“From the very beginning — since the day Almighty God created humankind — there have been constant and shared hardships that have weighed upon humanity and suppressed the latent powers and potentials within this world.
With the advent and appearance of that great savior (Imam al-Mahdi, may our souls be sacrificed for him), those afflictions will be removed, and the hidden forces of existence will be set free.”

🕊️ Judaism and the Claim of Superiority: Insights from the Quran

Source: Jews in the Quran – Part 7
Reference: Tafsir Al-Mizan, Vol. 3, pp. 413-419 – Hossein Fa’al Iraqi

ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ

📖 Quranic Verse:
"Among the People of the Book are those who, if entrusted with a large amount, will faithfully return it to you, and among them are those who, if entrusted with a small amount, will not return it to you except if you remain standing over them. That is because they say, ‘The unlettered have no authority over us,’ and they attribute false statements to Allah while knowing it. But those who fulfill their covenant and fear Allah – indeed, Allah loves the righteous. Indeed, those who barter away the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price – they will have no share in the Hereafter; Allah will not speak to them, look at them, purify them, and they will have a painful punishment."
—Surah Al-Imran (3:75-77)

ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ

🔍 Explanation:

1️⃣ Disparity in Honesty:
The Quran highlights the stark contrast among the People of the Book regarding trustworthiness. Some return even small trusts, while others betray even minor trusts. This reflects a deeper ideological flaw: some believed themselves superior and exempt from accountability to the unlettered (non-Israelites).

2️⃣ False Claims of Divine Favor:
The verse condemns the Jewish claim that they had exclusive authority and dignity from God. By saying “The unlettered have no authority over us”, they falsely attributed divine sanction to their arrogance and unethical actions.

3️⃣ True Honor is Spiritual:
The Quran teaches that true honor and esteem before God are not inherited or claimed by lineage. Real dignity comes through:
✅ Fulfilling covenants with Allah
✅ Practicing righteousness and piety

4️⃣ Consequences of Betraying Trust:
Those who sell God’s covenant for worldly gain are warned:
❌ No share in the Hereafter
❌ God will not speak to them or look upon them
❌ They will not be purified
❌ A painful punishment awaits them

5️⃣ Moral Takeaway:
Divine dignity and respect are earned, not inherited. Spiritual excellence and piety define one’s true value in the sight of God. Arrogance, false claims of superiority, or exploitation of others cannot replace genuine moral integrity.

ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ

✨ Reflection:
The Quranic message is universal: honor is linked to righteousness, not ethnicity or social status. Those who uphold truth, justice, and faith are truly esteemed in God’s eyes.

🕌 The Divine Crier: Imam Ali (AS) in the Holy Quran

📖 Quranic Foundation:
Surah Al-A'raf, Verses 44-45:

"And the companions of Paradise will call out to the companions of the Fire: 'We have found what our Lord promised us to be true. Have you found what your Lord promised to be true?' They will say: 'Yes.' Then a crier will announce between them: 'The curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.'" (44)

"Those who hinder from the path of Allah and seek to make it crooked, and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter." (45)

🌳 The Tree of "Tuba" - A Gathering Place for Shi'a

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) revealed to Miqdad ibn al-Aswad:
"Tuba is a tree in Paradise whose shade is a gathering place for the Shi'a of Amir al-Muminin Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS). They assemble there and converse together...

When they enter their homes, they find angels congratulating them on their Lord's honor. When settled, they are asked: 'Did you find your Lord's promise true?' They respond: 'Yes, our Lord! We are pleased, so be pleased with us.'

Allah says: 'Through My pleasure with you and your love for my Prophet's Household, you have entered My abode. The angels have shaken your hands - so blessed and congratulations without fear or darkness!'"

📢 The Divine Crier in the Hereafter

Multiple authentic narrations confirm:

Imam al-Kadhim (AS):
"The 'Mu'adhin' (Crier) is Amir al-Muminin (AS) who calls with an announcement heard by all creation."

Imam al-Baqir (AS):
"He is Ali (AS)."

Imam al-Sadiq (AS):
"Indeed Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) is the caller, the crier, and the savior."

Amir al-Muminin (AS) himself declared:
"I am that caller. I am Allah's Adhan in this world and His Mu'adhin in the Hereafter."

🔍 Ibn Abbas's Testimony:

"Indeed Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) has names in Allah's Book that people don't know. Among them, Allah named him in the Quran as 'Mu'adhin' and 'Adhan'. The verse 'Then a crier will announce between them: The curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers' - he is that crier among them, saying: 'Indeed Allah's curse is upon those who denied my guardianship and took my right lightly.'"

💎 Conclusion:

The Quranic verse "Then a crier will announce between them: The curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers" finds its ultimate manifestation in the person of Imam Ali (AS), who will serve as Allah's appointed caller on Judgment Day - announcing divine judgment upon those who rejected the Wilayah of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

Lessons from the Story of Talut and Jalut

The Factors of Human Rise and Fall in the Mirror of Quranic Stories from the Israelites – Part 9: Talut and Jalut

An article based on the ethical discourse of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi (ra) on the study of Judaism and the Israelites in the Quran.

🔷 Key Points:

· The story of Talut (Saul) and Jalut (Goliath), narrated in Surah Al-Baqarah (verses 246-251), offers profound lessons on leadership, faith, and social order. After suffering oppression, a faction of Israelites asked their prophet, Samuel, to appoint a king to lead them in battle.
· When God appointed Talut, a man not from a prominent wealthy family, they objected, revealing their materialistic criteria for leadership: "How can he have kingship over us when we are more deserving... and he has not been given ample wealth?"
· Their lack of discipline and comfort-seeking was tested when Talut forbade drinking from a river except a handful. Most failed the test. Only a small, faithful remnant, who trusted in God's help and prayed for patience and steadfastness, remained.
· From this small group emerged Dawud (David), who, with divine support, defeated the giant Jalut, paving the way for his own kingship and the establishment of the Israelite monarchy.
· Key Lessons Derived:
1. The Necessity of Centralized Authority: Human social progress (Tamaddun) inherently requires centralized governance and leadership to achieve unity, resolve conflicts, and facilitate growth. The Israelites' realization of this need marked a social evolution.
2. Divine Rule of Balancing Forces: The Quran states a fundamental cosmic and social rule: "If Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief." (2:251). This necessitates the existence of defensive power and just authority to prevent corruption and oppression from prevailing completely.
3. Materialism as a Spiritual Disease: The Israelites' objection to Talut exposed their deep-seated materialism and wealth-worship, viewing riches as the primary measure of worth—a trait critically examined in their historical and contemporary conduct.
4. Self-Discipline as a Prerequisite for Victory: Talut's river test was a training in self-restraint. True success in struggle (like Jihad) requires prior spiritual and physical training and self-discipline to overcome comfort-seeking and build resilience—a wisdom also found in fasting (Sawm).
