"And when they forgot that which they were reminded of, We opened to them the doors of everything, until they rejoiced in what they were given. Then We seized them suddenly, and behold, they were in despair." โจ๐
๐น Key Lessons:
1๏ธโฃ Neglecting the Guardianship of Imam Ali (AS)
When people abandoned the Wilaya of Ali (AS) despite being commanded to follow it, they were shown blessings temporarily, only to face sudden consequences. โก
๐ Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 31, p. 523; Tafsir Nur al-Thaqalayn
2โฃ The Danger of Abundant Blessings
The Prophet (SAW) warned: When God gives His servant what they love while they persist in sin, it is a sign of โistidrajโ (gradual lead to punishment). โ ๏ธ
Imam Ali (AS) said: "O son of Adam! If you see your Lord sending consecutive blessings, beware of them." ๐
๐ Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 64, p. 198-199
3โฃ Sudden Consequences for the Wicked
Imam Baqir (AS) and Imam Sadiq (AS) narrated that God took the Umayyads suddenly, and the Abbasids openly, as punishment for injustice and disobedience. โก
This verse also alludes to the emergence of the Qaโim (AS) who will bring justice after the corruption of the world. โจ
๐ Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 31 & 35; Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 4
4โฃ Worldly Wealth Can Be a Trial
Imam Sadiq (AS) said: "God opens this world to people because of their sins, to distract them from repentance; thus, worldly abundance becomes a punishment for sin." ๐ฐโ
๐ Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 4, p. 388; Qummi, Vol. 1, p. 199
๐ก Takeaway:
Blessings, wealth, and power are tests, not guarantees of safety. Forgetfulness of God and neglecting the rightful guidance lead to sudden downfall. Always seek obedience, spread goodness, and remember the source of every blessing. ๐ฑโจ

๐ฟ The Value of Praying on Time
It is narrated that the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ said that abandoning prayer is such a grave matter that, for him, it makes little difference whether a person dies upon Judaism or Christianity.
But consider this:
Even if a person prays, yet habitually delays the prayer without a valid excuse, what does that say about his priorities?
When the time for prayer arrives, Allah calls His servant:
"Come and stand before Me."
Yet we become occupied with business, customers, work, entertainment, or worldly concerns.
Then, hours later, we stand to pray and begin with:
"Allฤhu Akbar" โ Allah is the Greatest.
But have we truly treated Him as the Greatest?
If Allah was truly greater than everything else, why did we postpone His call for the sake of something else?
The scholars have often reminded us that our actions speak louder than our words.
There are narrations that describe how a prayer offered carelessly and outside its preferred time ascends darkened, unable to reach the stations of acceptance as a radiant prayer does. It returns to its owner as a witness against him.
But when a believer guards the prayer and performs it at the beginning of its time, that prayer ascends illuminated and becomes a source of blessing for him.
It is as though the prayer says:
"You protected me; may Allah protect you. You honored me; may Allah honor your life."
Difficulties will always exist in this world. No one is promised a life free of trials.
But there is a difference between struggling without support and struggling while connected to Allah.
Imagine being in the middle of a vast ocean with an oxygen tank that keeps you breathing no matter how rough the waters become.
That is what praying on time can be for a believer.
The storms may remain, but you will not suffocate beneath them.
๐ Guard your prayers. Pray at their earliest time whenever possible.
You may find that Allah places in your life a strength, tranquility, and protection that no worldly means can provide.
