📖 Elaboration on the 16th Day of Ramadan Supplication from the Perspective of Mahdism

The supplication for the 16th day of Ramadan contains profound meanings that can be examined in relation to Mahdism and the preparation for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AJ). This supplication includes three key requests, each directly linked to the path of supporting the Imam and the establishment of a global divine justice system.

1️⃣ Association with the Righteous: A Trait of Imam Mahdi's (AJ) Companions

اللَّهُمَّ وَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِمُوَافَقَةِ الْأَبْرَارِ
📖 Allahumma waffiqni fihi limuwāfaqatil-abrār
(O Allah! Grant me, on this day, the ability to be in harmony with the righteous.)

📖 "وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ" (Tawbah: 119)
(And be with those who are truthful.)

✅ Preparing for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AJ) requires following the righteous and avoiding deviations.

2️⃣ Avoiding the Wicked: Preserving Faith in the Trials of the End Times

وَ جَنِّبْنِي فِيهِ مُرَافَقَةَ الْأَشْرَارِ
📖 Wa jannibni fihi murāfaqatil-ashrār
(And keep me away from the company of evildoers.)

🔹 Islamic narrations indicate that the end times will be filled with numerous trials, leading many astray from the path of truth.
🔹 The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:
📖 "الناسُ كَالإبلِ المائةِ، لا تَجِدُ فيها راحِلَةً" (Sahih Bukhari)
(People are like a hundred camels; among them, you will hardly find one suitable for riding.)

✅ True Awaiters of Imam Mahdi (AJ) must remain steadfast in faith and avoid misleading influences that could divert them from the path of righteousness.

3️⃣ Seeking Divine Mercy and Entry into the Eternal Abode Through the Light of Reappearance

وَآوِنِي فِيهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ إِلَى دَارِ الْقَرَارِ
📖 Wa āwini fihi biraḥmatika ilā dāril-qarār
(Take me, by Your mercy, to the abode of eternal peace.)

🔹 Narrations describe the era of Imam Mahdi’s (AJ) rule as a prelude to the establishment of ultimate justice and eternal peace.
🔹 The Holy Quran promises:
📖 "وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ" (Nur: 55)
(Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession in the earth.)

✅ The era of reappearance serves as the gateway to ultimate divine mercy and the fulfillment of Allah’s greatest promises.
