Hazeem bin Shareek Al-Asadi remarked about Hazrat Zainab's (SA) sermon:
🗣️ "By God! I have not seen anyone as eloquent in speech as Zainab, as if she speaks from the tongue of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (AS). She thundered upon the people, 'Be silent!' With this command, not only did the multitude fall silent, but even the bells of the camels ceased to make a sound!" (Tabarsi, Al-Ihtijaj, Vol.2, p.109-110)
Hazrat Zainab's (SA) Sermon:
She commenced her speech with praise for Allah and salutations upon the Prophet (PBUH), citing a verse from the Quran about evildoers. She then, with reference to a divine tradition about giving respite to oppressors, rebuked Yazid for the injustice against the household of Imam Hussain (AS) and their humiliation in various cities. She attributed Yazid's heinous actions to his animosity stemming from the Battle of Badr.
Continuing, she reminded Yazid of his ultimate fate, cursed the murderers and oppressors of the tragedy of Karbala, and concluded by highlighting the futile attempts of Yazid to erase the memory of the Prophet's family. (Sayyid ibn Tawus, Al-Luhuf 'ala Qatli at-Tufuf, p.214-220)
