🌙 The Virtue of Dua Kumayl on Friday Night
🔹 Kamail narrates: "I was sitting with my master, Imam Ali (AS), in the mosque of Basrah, surrounded by a group of his companions. One of them asked about the meaning of God's statement, 'In it, every wise affair is made distinct.' Imam Ali (AS) responded, 'It is the Night of Mid-Sha'ban, and to the one whose soul is in His control, and he is a servant among God's servants. However, whatever happens to him, good or bad, in the Night of Mid-Sha'ban is determined.'"
🔹 Later, when I returned to their residence and knocked on the door, Imam Ali (AS) asked, "O Kamail! What brings you here?" I replied, "O Commander of the Faithful! I seek guidance in Dua Kumayl." He said, "Sit down, O Kamail! When you memorize this supplication, recite it every Friday night, once a month, or once a year. Allah will ease your affairs, grant you sustenance, and will never withhold His forgiveness from you."
🔹 He then added, "Write: 'O Allah! I ask You by Your mercy that encompasses everything...'"

🌟 "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, from the beginning of the world to its end, and from the Hereafter to its eternity. All praise is to Allah for every blessing. I seek forgiveness from Allah for every sin, and I turn to Him in repentance, for He is the Most Merciful of the merciful."
After a week, I intended to recite it again when, in a state of spiritual disclosure, I heard a call from the angels, indicating that we have not yet completed the reward of the previous recitation.
🌙 Reading this virtuous supplication is recommended on Friday nights.

🔹 Kumayl narrates: I was sitting with my master Ali, peace be upon him, in Masjid al-Kufa, surrounded by a group of his companions. One of them asked about the meaning of the saying of the Almighty: "In it every wise matter is made distinct." He replied, "It is the night of the middle of Sha'ban, a night when destinies are decreed for those whose lives are in His control. No servant of God exists except that whatever is to befall him, good or bad, for the coming year, is decreed for him on the night of the middle of Sha'ban. No servant enlivens that night nor recites Dua Khidr except that his prayer is answered!"
🔹 When the master returned home, I went to his service at midnight and knocked on the door. He said, "O Kumayl! What brings you here?" I said, "O Commander of the Faithful! My purpose is the supplication of Khidr." He said, "O Kumayl! Sit down, and when you have memorized this prayer, recite it on every Friday night, or once a month, or once a year, or at least once in your lifetime, and God will provide you with solutions, support you, and never withhold His forgiveness from you."
🔹 Then he said, "Write: 'O Allah! I beseech You by Your mercy which encompasses all things...'"
