🌹 One day, a man approached the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said, "I have committed all kinds of sins. Is there a path of repentance for me?" The Prophet responded, "Is your father and mother alive?"

He replied, "Only my father is alive." The Prophet advised, "Show respect and kindness to your father, so that God may forgive you." When the man left, the Prophet expressed to those around him, "I wish his mother were alive."

The benefit of mentioning God is that it keeps Satan away from humans. As the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) - to whom the reality of matters was revealed - said:

"I saw a person from my Ummah surrounded by demons. As soon as he engaged in the remembrance of God, the demons dispersed."
((إن الذين اتقوا إذا مسهم طائف من الشيطان تذكروا فإذا هم مبصرون))
Meaning: When a group of demons approaches pious people and contacts them, they remember God. Through the blessings of the remembrance of the Lord, they will attain awareness and insight.

Satan, like a vigilant hunter, is always watching humans, seeking to catch them off guard from the remembrance of God and ensnare them.
