Spend ten minutes in solitude with God, seek forgiveness for your mistakes; your heart's atmosphere will brighten. If you continue this practice, after some time, these ten minutes will encompass your entire day!

🔴 The highly virtuous Sunday prayer of Dhu al-Qa'dah for forgiveness of sins
🔵 A narration from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentions a special prayer for Sundays in the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah. The benefits of this prayer include:
🔺 Whoever performs it will:
1⃣ Have their repentance accepted
2⃣ Have their sins forgiven
3⃣ Bring blessings upon themselves and their family
4⃣ Have those who hold any claims or rights against them satisfied on the Day of Judgment
5⃣ Die with faith
6⃣ Have their grave spacious and illuminated
7⃣ Have their parents pleased with them
8⃣ Bring God's forgiveness upon their parents
9⃣ Have their offspring forgiven
1⃣0⃣ Have their sustenance increased
1⃣1⃣ Be treated gently by the Angel of Death at the time of passing
1⃣2⃣Have an easy death
🌕 How to perform the prayer:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) described the procedure for this prayer as follows:
🛑 On Sunday, perform ghusl (ritual purification) and wudu (ablution), then pray four rak'ahs (units of prayer) in sets of two. In each rak'ah, recite Surah Al-Fatiha once, Surah Al-Ikhlas three times, and Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas once each. After finishing the prayer, seek forgiveness seventy times ( اِسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ رَبِّي وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
(Astaghfirullāha rabbī wa atūbu ilayh)
(I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, and I repent to Him)), then say:
🔺 لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
(Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāhi al-ʿaliyyi al-ʿaẓīm)
(There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great)
Then say:
(Yā ʿazīzu yā ghaffāru, ighfir lī dhunūbī wa dhunūba jamīʿi al-muʾminīn wa al-muʾmināt, fa-innahū lā yaghfiru al-dhunūba illā ant)
(O Mighty, O Forgiver, forgive my sins and the sins of all the believing men and women, for none can forgive sins except You)

🔹 Their sins will be forgiven

🔺A new Muslim convert from South Africa: "Upon embracing Islam, I realized what it truly means to be human… It means being mindful of the Creator who brought me into existence and respecting the rights of His creations." #NewMuslim #IslamicJourney #EmbracingFaith…
🔺The Kind Manners of a Shia Man Led a Young Christian to Convert to Islam
According to Rahyafte (Comprehensive Website for Missionaries and New Muslims), Guthrie was born in the city of Kroonstad, South Africa, where Islam was unfamiliar to him. He only knew shopkeepers from countries like Bangladesh who had come to Kroonstad for work, and their religion was different from the Christianity he was raised in—either tied to the Church of England or the American Church, which most locals were born into.
Guthrie vividly recalls his father's mistreatment of his mother, which eventually led to their divorce when he was just 14 years old. Though he loved his mother, he says that through Islam, he found the strength to forgive his father. This experience led him to question Christianity, as it didn’t fulfill his spiritual needs. These thoughts lingered until financial difficulties forced him to drop out of university, pushing him towards the marketplace where he met Mubarak, a man of good character and integrity.
One day during Ramadan, Guthrie noticed Mubarak suddenly stop eating and drinking. When he asked why, Mubarak explained that it was for the sake of Almighty God. Guthrie understood the meaning of 'Almighty' in his native language, and when he learned that Allah is the name God Himself chose, he became even more thoughtful. Mubarak introduced him to the Ahl al-Kisa (the Five Pure Ones) and spoke about the Prophet of Islam and his mission. Guthrie says that two factors—the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and Mubarak's beautiful manners—sparked a desire in him to learn more about Islam.
📚 On Eid al-Fitr, Guthrie learned how to embrace Islam and finally recited the Shahada at Mubarak's home. He had been told that the Shahada purifies the soul and that acts like prayer, fasting, and ablution elevate the spirit and can make up for past mistakes. Guthrie compared it to a cup of milk: "When we drink milk, it finishes, but its residue remains in the cup, and it must be washed. Acts like fasting, ablution, and prayer are like water that cleanses the soul."
After converting to Islam, Guthrie adopted the name Abdul-Rafi' Ali, and it wasn't long before his younger brother also embraced Islam.
Today, Guthrie is studying in Iran at Jamiat al-Mustafa in Qom, aiming to deepen his understanding of Islam and serve the Muslim community. He says the atmosphere in Qom, with the luminous presence of Lady Masuma (peace be upon her) and the esteemed religious scholars, is different and offers him greater access to knowledge. He praises Imam Khomeini (may God be pleased with him) as the founder of the Islamic Revolution and his leadership in the style of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). He says, “The most important thing I’ve learned from the Imam is self-purification.”
In his own words: "Upon embracing Islam, I realized what it truly means to be human… It means being mindful of the Creator who brought me into existence and respecting the rights of His creations."

🔺The story of Steve Wood, a newly converted American Muslim and former Guantanamo prison guard, embracing Islam. A journey of transformation and faith! ✨ #ConversionStory #NewMuslim #Guantanamo #FaithJourney 🌐 @rahyafte_en
🔺The story of Steve Wood, a newly converted American Muslim and former Guantanamo prison guard, embracing Islam.
According to Rahyafte (Comprehensive Platform for Preachers and New Muslims) – as reported by Al Jazeera, Steve Wood, who worked as a guard at Guantanamo Bay, revealed that he converted to Islam after interacting with many Muslim prisoners, especially "Mohamedou Ould Slahi," prisoner number 760 from Mauritania.
He stated: "After continuous contact with Mohamedou Ould Slahi inside the prison, I resigned from my position in the U.S. military to embrace Islam."
Steve Wood added that it was through the prisoners at Guantanamo that he became familiar with the lives and beliefs of Muslims.
He emphasized that his life changed after meeting Ould Slahi and that he had tasted the sweetness and beauty of faith after converting to Islam.
Wood had a special mission within Guantanamo Bay, tasked with guarding prisoners arriving from Afghanistan. During this time, he met Mohamedou Ould Slahi, whose religious commitment, tolerance, and kindness toward his American captors, despite the harsh conditions he faced daily, had a profound impact on him.
He continued: "When I met Ould Slahi, despite the harsh treatment he endured from solitary confinement, I realized he was a different person, characterized by his constant calmness and optimistic outlook on life."
Despite the various forms of torture endured by Guantanamo prisoners, including Mohamedou Ould Slahi, Wood noted that this prisoner "holds no grudge against his captors."
He added: "After his release from Guantanamo, Slahi demonstrated even more forgiveness, harboring the least amount of resentment toward his captors or anyone else. This was due to his deep commitment to Islam and belief in its teachings."
Steve Wood had kept his conversion to Islam secret for some time, fearing the social perception and negative stereotypes surrounding Islam and Muslims, especially in the West after the events of September 11, 2001.
He said: "I was afraid people would think I was influenced by extremists coming from Afghanistan."
However, after publicly declaring his conversion to Islam, he denied facing any harassment.
Nevertheless, he stressed the importance of addressing hatred and racism, which target Muslims worldwide.
He concluded: "It’s difficult for the world to forget what happened on 9/11 and the loss of about 3,000 Americans, but the American reaction was harsh, and we witnessed many violations."

Explanation of Juz 28 of the Holy Qur'an from a Mahdavi Perspective
In this article, some verses from Juz 28 of the Holy Qur'an are examined from a Mahdavi perspective.
Part 1
1. Verse 12 - Surah Al-Mujadila
Ayah:
"O you who have believed, when you confer privately with the Messenger, spend before your private consultation. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means], then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." (58:12)
Hadith:
Imam Ali (A.S) - When the verse "O you who have believed, when you confer privately with the Messenger..." was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) called me and asked, "What do you think about a dinar for each meeting?" I replied, "They cannot afford it." He then asked, "How much?" I replied, "The grains of barley!" He said, "That is too little." Then the verse: "Do you fear to give charity before your private consultation?" was revealed. Allah removed this burden from the Ummah because of me, and this verse was revealed neither before nor after me. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 35, p. 378)
Mahdavi Perspective:
This verse emphasizes charity before private conversations, highlighting the purity of intention. Imam Ali (A.S) exemplifies the spirit of giving, aligning with the Mahdavi perspective of selflessness and purity that will prevail when the Mahdi (A.S) reappears.
#Charity #PrivateConsultation #Purity #ImamAli #MahdaviVision
2. Verse 18 - Surah Al-Mujadila
Ayah:
"On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you, and they will think they are on something. But indeed, they are liars." (58:18)
Hadith:
Imam Sadiq (A.S) - These individuals will be in front of Allah, swearing that they did not commit shirk. However, they are the ones who have denied the rightful claim of Imam Ali (A.S) and wronged the truth. On the Day of Judgment, their limbs will testify against them, and their tongues will be sealed. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 7, p. 312)
Mahdavi Perspective:
The Mahdi (A.S) will be the one who uncovers the truth and brings justice to those who have been deceitful. Their false oaths and claims of righteousness will be revealed.
#SwearingLies #DayOfJudgment #Testimony #MahdaviJustice
3. Verse 10 - Surah Al-Hashr
Ayah:
"And those who came after them say, 'Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.'" (59:10)
Hadith:
Imam Hasan (A.S) - The verse mentions that Muslims after the Prophet (PBUH) will pray for Imam Ali (A.S), who was the first to believe. He was the one who became closest to the Prophet (PBUH) and led the community. This prayer of forgiveness acknowledges the special position of Imam Ali (A.S) as the first Muslim and his significant role in Islam. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 69, p. 153)
Mahdavi Perspective:
The prayer for forgiveness and unity mirrors the anticipation of the Mahdi's (A.S) return, where all will be united under his just leadership, free from any resentment.
#Unity #Forgiveness #ImamAli #MahdaviReturn
4. Verse 18 - Surah Al-Hashr
Ayah:
"O you who have believed, fear Allah, and let every soul look to what it has sent forth for tomorrow, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what you do." (59:18)
Hadith:
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) - "O people! Consider Ali as superior, for after me, no one is greater than him. Anyone who opposes him will be cursed." (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 37, p. 208)
Mahdavi Perspective:
The call to reflect on one's actions aligns with the Mahdavi vision, where the return of the Mahdi (A.S) will bring forth accountability and a righteous community led by the true guide.
#Reflection #Accountability #ImamAli #MahdaviLeadership
5. Verse 20 - Surah Al-Hashr
Ayah:
"Never equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise - they are the successful." (59:20)

🔰 #Part_2
✨Do not set yourself against #God, for neither do you possess the strength to shield yourself against His displeasure, nor can you place yourself outside the pale of His mercy and forgiveness.
✨Do not feel sorry over any act of #forgiveness, nor rejoice over any punishment that you may mete out to any one.
✨Do not rouse yourself to #anger, for no good will come out of it.
✨Do not say: “I am your overlord and dictator, and that you should, therefore, bow to my commands”, as that will corrupt your #heart, weaken your #faith in religion and create disorder in the state. Should you be elated by power, ever feel in your mind the slightest symptoms of pride and arrogance, then look at the power and majesty of the Divine governance of the #Universe over which you have absolutely no control.
It will restore the sense of balance to your wayward intelligence and give you the sense of calmness and affability.
Beware! Never put yourself against the majesty and grandeur of God and never imitate His omnipotence; for God has brought low every rebel of God and every tyrant of man.
✨Let your mind respect through your actions the #rights of God and the #rights of man, and likewise, persuade your companions and relations to do likewise. For, otherwise, you will be doing injustice to yourself and injustice to humanity. Thus both man and God will turn unto your enemies. There is no hearing anywhere for one who makes an enemy of God himself. He will be regarded as one at war with God until he feels contrition and seeks forgiveness. Nothing deprives man of divine blessings or excites divine wrath against him more easily than cruelty. Hence it is, that God listens to the voice of the oppressed and waylays the oppressor.

✨ Ayatollah Mojtahedi Tehrani on the Power of Istighfar
A man once came to Imam Ali (عليه السلام) and said:
Another came, saying: “I am poor and struggling.”
Imam again said: “Do Istighfar.”
A third complained: “My land is dry, no rain.”
Imam said: “Do Istighfar.”

🌟 The Powerful Remembrance of Rajab
Ayatullah Mirbaqiri
📖 https://eitaa.com/solok_shieh/12178
Rajab is the month of Amir al-Mu’minīn (ʿa), a time of purification and preparation for Shaʿbān and Ramaḍān — the month of seeking forgiveness. The gates of divine mercy are wide open; it is a month for cleansing the soul.
Among the special acts of worship in Rajab is a remarkable supplication for forgiveness (istighfār), mentioned by the late Fayḍ in Khulāṣat al-Adhkār:
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الذُّنُوبِ وَ الْآثَامِ
“I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Possessor of Majesty and Honour, from all sins and wrongdoings.”
🔹 It is narrated that if a person repeats this 1,000 times during Rajab, the Almighty Allah declares in a sacred ḥadīth:
“If I do not forgive him, I am not your Lord.”
(لَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ)
This is a profound promise of mercy — a great glad tiding for those who turn to Him with this noble name, Dhul-Jalāli wal-Ikrām.
💠 Some great spiritual masters have recommended reciting this istighfār 1,000 times each day of Rajab — a lofty practice for those who aspire to the highest stations of purity and nearness.
🌙 Let us seize the opportunity of Rajab: repent, purify our hearts, and prepare for the luminous months ahead.
