📌 Contemplation and Accountability in Actions

🔰 Ayatollah Saadatparvar: O beloved ones! If you can, spend moments in contemplation throughout the day, hours, or at least a few minutes, pondering over your thoughts! So that it becomes clear to you what you are doing, why you exist, and where you are headed, preventing a lifetime from passing in neglect.

🔰 O beloved ones! Calculation and contemplation should be present in all your actions, words, and deeds, not just once a year or a month, but once a day, if not every hour; indeed, a moment of calculation and contemplation is necessary at any given time.

🔰 O beloved ones! If you release the breath freely without being mindful of it, neglect the contemplation of your actions, and fail to calculate, walking hand in hand with negligence, be wary of a life ending in a regrettable manner.

🔹 A Wake-up Call from the Quran

Two surahs in the Quran begin with the word "woe,"
"Woe" is one of the strongest warnings in the Quran,
And those two verses are:

Woe to those who give less [than due],
Woe to every scorner and mocker,

The first concerning people's wealth.
The second concerning people's honor.

These verses serve as a stark reminder of accountability and social responsibility. #Quran #Warning #Accountability #SocialResponsibility 🌐 @rahyafte_en
Explanation of Juz 28 of the Holy Qur'an from a Mahdavi Perspective

In this article, some verses from Juz 28 of the Holy Qur'an are examined from a Mahdavi perspective.

Part 1

1. Verse 12 - Surah Al-Mujadila
Ayah:
"O you who have believed, when you confer privately with the Messenger, spend before your private consultation. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means], then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." (58:12)

Hadith:
Imam Ali (A.S) - When the verse "O you who have believed, when you confer privately with the Messenger..." was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) called me and asked, "What do you think about a dinar for each meeting?" I replied, "They cannot afford it." He then asked, "How much?" I replied, "The grains of barley!" He said, "That is too little." Then the verse: "Do you fear to give charity before your private consultation?" was revealed. Allah removed this burden from the Ummah because of me, and this verse was revealed neither before nor after me. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 35, p. 378)

Mahdavi Perspective:
This verse emphasizes charity before private conversations, highlighting the purity of intention. Imam Ali (A.S) exemplifies the spirit of giving, aligning with the Mahdavi perspective of selflessness and purity that will prevail when the Mahdi (A.S) reappears.
#Charity #PrivateConsultation #Purity #ImamAli #MahdaviVision

2. Verse 18 - Surah Al-Mujadila
Ayah:
"On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you, and they will think they are on something. But indeed, they are liars." (58:18)

Hadith:
Imam Sadiq (A.S) - These individuals will be in front of Allah, swearing that they did not commit shirk. However, they are the ones who have denied the rightful claim of Imam Ali (A.S) and wronged the truth. On the Day of Judgment, their limbs will testify against them, and their tongues will be sealed. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 7, p. 312)

Mahdavi Perspective:
The Mahdi (A.S) will be the one who uncovers the truth and brings justice to those who have been deceitful. Their false oaths and claims of righteousness will be revealed.
#SwearingLies #DayOfJudgment #Testimony #MahdaviJustice

3. Verse 10 - Surah Al-Hashr
Ayah:
"And those who came after them say, 'Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.'" (59:10)

Hadith:
Imam Hasan (A.S) - The verse mentions that Muslims after the Prophet (PBUH) will pray for Imam Ali (A.S), who was the first to believe. He was the one who became closest to the Prophet (PBUH) and led the community. This prayer of forgiveness acknowledges the special position of Imam Ali (A.S) as the first Muslim and his significant role in Islam. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 69, p. 153)

Mahdavi Perspective:
The prayer for forgiveness and unity mirrors the anticipation of the Mahdi's (A.S) return, where all will be united under his just leadership, free from any resentment.
#Unity #Forgiveness #ImamAli #MahdaviReturn

4. Verse 18 - Surah Al-Hashr
Ayah:
"O you who have believed, fear Allah, and let every soul look to what it has sent forth for tomorrow, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what you do." (59:18)

Hadith:
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) - "O people! Consider Ali as superior, for after me, no one is greater than him. Anyone who opposes him will be cursed." (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 37, p. 208)

Mahdavi Perspective:
The call to reflect on one's actions aligns with the Mahdavi vision, where the return of the Mahdi (A.S) will bring forth accountability and a righteous community led by the true guide.

5. Verse 20 - Surah Al-Hashr
Ayah:
"Never equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise - they are the successful." (59:20)

📖 Qur’an & Ahlulbayt (AS) Reflections
Surah al-An‘ām – Verse 62

ثُمَّ رُدُّوا إِلَى اللهِ مَوْلاهُمُ الْحَقِّ أَلا لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَ هُوَ أَسْرَعُ الْحاسِبِینَ
Then [all people] will be returned to Allah, their True Master. Surely, all judgment belongs to Him, and He is the swiftest of reckoners. (6:62)

🌹 Imam al-Sadiq (AS):
When Marwan ibn Hakam entered Madinah and arrogantly recited this verse, Imam al-Husayn (AS) remarked:
“Indeed, by Allah, I and my companions will be returned to Paradise, while he and his followers will be returned to Hell.”
📚 Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, v.4, p.414; Bihār al-Anwār, v.44, p.206

🌹 Imam Ali (AS) – On the Deception of Dunya:
“Beware! This world is a deceiving abode. Every day it takes a husband, and every night it slays its people… Where are those who built palaces, commanded armies, and gathered wealth? They are now dust in their graves. All will be returned to Allah, their True Master.”
📚 Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, v.4, p.414; Bihār al-Anwār, v.74, p.375

🌹 Imam Ali (AS) – A Divine Distinction:
“Allah the Exalted has granted me a special honor and distinction through the Prophet (PBUH). It is in His words: ‘Then they will all be returned to Allah, their True Master…’”
📚 Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, v.4, p.416; al-Kāfī, v.8, p.27

🌹 The Prophet (PBUH) to Imam Ali (AS):
“O Ali! You are the judge of this Ummah and in charge of their reckoning. On the Day of Judgment, the return is to you, the reckoning is upon you, the path is your path, the scale is your scale, and the standing-place is yours.”
📚 Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, v.4, p.416; Bihār al-Anwār, v.24, p.272

🌹 Imam Ali (AS) – On Allah’s Reckoning:
When asked: “How will Allah hold creation to account while they cannot see Him?” He replied:
“Just as He provides them sustenance while they cannot see Him.”
📚 Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, v.4, p.416; Nūr al-Thaqalayn

✨ Reflection:
This verse reminds us that no matter how powerful or wealthy one becomes, the ultimate return is to Allah, the True Master. The Ahlulbayt (AS) clarify that real success lies in humility, faith, and righteous deeds — for Allah is the swiftest of reckoners.

📖 Qur’an & Ahlulbayt (AS) Reflections
Surah al-An‘ām – Verse 65

Say, “He is able to send upon you punishment from above you or from beneath your feet, or to divide you into hostile factions and make you taste the violence of one another...” (6:65)

🌹 Narration from Imam al-Sajjad (AS):
Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh al-Anṣārī relates that the Prophet (PBUH) demonstrated the divine authority of Imam ʿAlī (AS) before his companions. By the command of the Prophet, a mat miraculously transported them to a mountain cave, where the People of the Cave bore witness to the Wilāyah of ʿAlī (AS).

When the companions returned, the Prophet (PBUH) told them:

“If you are truthful in your testimony, then indeed you will be granted abundant provision. But if you turn away, Allah will send punishment from above you, or from beneath your feet, or He will divide you into factions like the Children of Israel. And whoever holds firmly to the Wilāyah of ʿAlī (AS) will meet me on the Day of Judgment while I am pleased with him.”

📚 Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, v.4, p.420; al-Yaqīn, p.379; Bihār al-Anwār, v.39, p.140

✨ Reflection:
This verse warns of divisions, conflicts, and punishments when unity around divine leadership is abandoned. The Prophet (PBUH) clarified that true safety lies in upholding the Wilāyah of Imam ʿAlī (AS).

The Sabbath-Breakers and Playing with God's Religion

The Factors of Human Rise and Fall in the Mirror of Quranic Stories from the Israelites – Part 8: The Sabbath-Breakers

An article based on the ethical discourse of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi (ra) on the study of Judaism and the Israelites in the Quran.

🔷 Key Points:

· This section examines the severe punishment of a group of Israelites who lived by the sea. God forbade them from fishing on the Sabbath (Saturday) as a test. Observing that fish abundantly approached the shore only on that day, they devised a clever legal trick (Hilah):
· They dug trenches on Friday, let water (and fish) flow in on Saturday, and blocked the exits, then harvested the fish on Sunday, claiming they didn't "fish" on the Sabbath.
· God's response was swift and shocking: He transformed the transgressors and those who remained silent into despised apes (مسخ). This story appears multiple times in the Quran as a grave warning.
· Key Lessons Derived:
1. Playing with Divine Commands is Forbidden: The core sin was not just a technical violation, but attempting to deceive God and mock His law through legal loopholes (Hiyal). This is far more severe than open disobedience. The analysis asks: Are some of our modern-day "Sharia-compliant" tricks in financial dealings (like disguised usury/Riba) not of the same nature?
2. The Obligation of Enjoining Good & Forbidding Evil (Amr bil Ma'ruf): God punished not only the tricksters but also those who saw the wrong and remained silent, failing to enjoin good and forbid evil. This highlights the communal responsibility and the major sin of indifference.
3. God Has No Favorites: Despite the Israelites being favored with many prophets, God showed no partiality when they willfully mocked His decrees. Even the greatest of creatures have no special immunity if they compromise divine law.
