The greatest example of moral excellence among the servants of God can be found in Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The fact that the Prophet of Islam was an unlettered orphan, yet possessed such remarkable virtues, deeply attracted me to him.

Part 1 🔹Muslims in My Country Still Think Like Christians According to Rahyafte (the comprehensive platform for new Muslims and preachers), Mostafa Oscar, a student from Latin America, has traveled to distant countries with his family, enduring many hardships…
Part 2

In the past decade, I have introduced dozens of people in my country to Islam, the religion of love and respect for humanity. They embraced Islam with passion and love, as it is a religion of reason and respect for all people, especially women.

Muslims in my country still think like Christians, for example, believing they need a designated place to pray and worship. There is a need for more effort to introduce them to the true principles of Islam.

Our center once had a radio station and published magazines, and our Islamic activities were conducted professionally, bringing about many blessings. However, these centers are now inactive.

I had a good job in my country, but out of love for Islam, I left everything behind to pursue knowledge so I could serve my country and the Muslims better. Whenever I returned to my country, I had good resources available to me, thanks to my academic abilities. I even had credibility in my country and was invited for interviews on television.

The first challenge foreign students face is that people's perception of them and Islam is different from the true image. We are responsible for correcting this misconception because the first image people have of Muslims is often shaped by the brutal actions of terrorist groups like ISIS.

The religious attire we wear in seminaries and universities is similar to that of clerics, but in public, we wear clothing that conforms to social norms.

In my country, as in many other Latin American and non-Latin American countries, people's views of Muslims and Shias are negative due to the image of certain so-called Muslim terrorists. Many people cannot distinguish between true Shias and others, and only a few have developed the ability to make this distinction.

Once, while walking down the street with my wife, who was wearing Islamic attire, someone yelled at her from a bus, calling her crazy. This reflects the attitude toward hijab in my country. However, the hijab of some women in my country is far better than that of Iranian women!

Publishing Islamic books in my country can only be done privately, as there is no government support. When I was in my country, I personally financed the printing of books.

🔴"If I were to go back to 12 years ago, even knowing about all these hardships, I would undoubtedly make the same decision again. I would certainly choose to preach Islam because, contrary to what is promoted in the West, Islam is not a religion of killing or oppression, especially against women. It is a religion of reason, chivalry, and respect for all people and other religions. This respect for other religions is what attracts people to Islam in the West. People in the West are tired of oppression, and if they knew the true qualities of Islam, they would be drawn to it."

Edoardo Agnelli, the son of Gianni Agnelli, the iconic Italian industrialist and owner of the Fiat empire, holds a unique and inspirational legacy.

🌟 Born on June 9, 1954, in New York City, Edoardo pursued his education in modern literature at Princeton University. Despite being born into one of the wealthiest families in Europe, his life took a spiritual turn that led him to embrace Islam and adopt the name "Mahdi."

💠 Edoardo was deeply drawn to spirituality and faith. His journey led him to Shia Islam, a decision that reflected his courage to pursue truth and conviction despite societal and familial pressures. He even participated in Friday prayers in Tehran, led by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, symbolizing his dedication to his beliefs.

❌ On November 15, 2000, Edoardo’s life was tragically cut short. Although his death was officially declared a suicide, credible evidence strongly indicates otherwise. Many believe Edoardo was martyred due to his firm faith in Islam and his inclination toward Shia beliefs. This interpretation is supported by investigations and accounts from trusted sources.

🌹 Today, Edoardo Agnelli is remembered not for his wealth or family legacy but for his unwavering commitment to the truth and his spiritual journey. He remains an enduring symbol of resilience and faith for truth-seekers worldwide.

Edoardo Agnelli, the son of Gianni Agnelli, the iconic Italian industrialist and owner of the Fiat empire, holds a unique and inspirational legacy. 🌟 Born on June 9, 1954, in New York City, Edoardo pursued his education in modern literature at Princeton University.…
Edoardo Agnelli, the heir to the Fiat empire, was born into immense wealth and privilege. His family, the Agnellis, were one of Italy’s most powerful, controlling industries and wealth that spanned across Europe. Despite his privileged background, Edoardo's path diverged from his family's expectations when he embraced Islam, specifically Shia Islam, and adopted the name Mahdi.

This decision was met with significant pressure from his family. The Agnelli family, deeply entrenched in secular Catholic values, found Edoardo’s religious transformation troubling. His new spiritual journey put him at odds with the family’s legacy, and this growing tension was exacerbated by his public conversion and devotion to his faith.

As his devotion to Islam deepened, so did the pressures he faced. Many believe that his tragic death was not a suicide, as reported by authorities, but rather a targeted assassination due to his faith. The evidence supporting the martyrdom theory has become more compelling over time, with several pieces of documentation pointing to foul play. His conversion to Islam and outspoken beliefs made him a target for those who viewed him as a threat, including certain Zionist groups who sought to silence him.

This tragic end resonates deeply with certain Quranic verses and Hadiths that emphasize the oppression faced by those who stand firm in their faith, despite immense pressures. For instance, the Quran says, “And do not think those who are killed in the way of Allah are dead. They are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” (Quran 3:169). This verse highlights that martyrdom is not an end, but a continuation of a sacred journey. Similarly, a Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) states, “Whoever dies for their belief in God, it is as if they have attained martyrdom.” These divine statements are reflected in Edoardo’s fate — a man whose unwavering commitment to Islam, despite all pressures, led to his ultimate martyrdom.

Edoardo's martyrdom is not just a tragic personal story but a testament to the power of faith over worldly pressures. Despite his immense wealth, his true legacy lies in his steadfastness to his beliefs and his eventual sacrifice. His martyrdom serves as a symbol of resilience and truth, echoing the stories of those who were oppressed and martyred for their faith throughout history.

🔺The story of Steve Wood, a newly converted American Muslim and former Guantanamo prison guard, embracing Islam.

According to Rahyafte (Comprehensive Platform for Preachers and New Muslims) – as reported by Al Jazeera, Steve Wood, who worked as a guard at Guantanamo Bay, revealed that he converted to Islam after interacting with many Muslim prisoners, especially "Mohamedou Ould Slahi," prisoner number 760 from Mauritania.

He stated: "After continuous contact with Mohamedou Ould Slahi inside the prison, I resigned from my position in the U.S. military to embrace Islam."

Steve Wood added that it was through the prisoners at Guantanamo that he became familiar with the lives and beliefs of Muslims.

He emphasized that his life changed after meeting Ould Slahi and that he had tasted the sweetness and beauty of faith after converting to Islam.

Wood had a special mission within Guantanamo Bay, tasked with guarding prisoners arriving from Afghanistan. During this time, he met Mohamedou Ould Slahi, whose religious commitment, tolerance, and kindness toward his American captors, despite the harsh conditions he faced daily, had a profound impact on him.

He continued: "When I met Ould Slahi, despite the harsh treatment he endured from solitary confinement, I realized he was a different person, characterized by his constant calmness and optimistic outlook on life."

Despite the various forms of torture endured by Guantanamo prisoners, including Mohamedou Ould Slahi, Wood noted that this prisoner "holds no grudge against his captors."

He added: "After his release from Guantanamo, Slahi demonstrated even more forgiveness, harboring the least amount of resentment toward his captors or anyone else. This was due to his deep commitment to Islam and belief in its teachings."

Steve Wood had kept his conversion to Islam secret for some time, fearing the social perception and negative stereotypes surrounding Islam and Muslims, especially in the West after the events of September 11, 2001.

He said: "I was afraid people would think I was influenced by extremists coming from Afghanistan."

However, after publicly declaring his conversion to Islam, he denied facing any harassment.

Nevertheless, he stressed the importance of addressing hatred and racism, which target Muslims worldwide.

He concluded: "It’s difficult for the world to forget what happened on 9/11 and the loss of about 3,000 Americans, but the American reaction was harsh, and we witnessed many violations."

🌟 "I Found True Happiness After Embracing Islam"

✍️ By Masoumeh Taheri

🔸 Stoyana Lubita Abrado, now known as Zahra after converting to Islam, hails from Timișoara, Romania. A former minority Serbian in her country, she earned a scholarship in dentistry and now actively participates in humanitarian camps. Dr. Zahra, a member of the New Muslims Association and the Rahyafte Institute, shared her inspiring journey with us.

🔴 How did you discover Islam?
💬 "I met Muslim students from various countries at my university—Palestine, Iraq, Kuwait, and Sudan. Their good manners and calm demeanor piqued my curiosity. I began reading books about Islam and, by my second semester, I embraced the faith."

🔴 Why did you choose to come to Iran?
💬 "After converting, I faced challenges learning Islamic rulings and practices. I later met Iranian students on a research trip and became their translator. This connection led me to transfer my studies to Iran to deepen my understanding of Islamic culture. Initially, I planned a temporary stay, but due to family, financial, and religious reasons, I decided to remain."

🔴 Did your family accept your conversion?
💬 "My family, being Orthodox Christians, feared my decision. They assumed I was influenced by extremism or hypnotized by a Muslim partner. Over time, they saw that my behavior remained unchanged, and their fears eased. Interestingly, my grandmother, who was deeply religious, embraced Islam after seeing its similarity to her beliefs."

🔴 What did Islam give you?
💬 "A sense of happiness that transcends time and place. After converting, I discovered a deep inner peace and contentment, even in solitude."

🔴 Was wearing the hijab challenging?
💬 "At first, I didn't wear the hijab due to police restrictions in Romania. However, I dressed modestly and always carried a scarf for use outside the university. Two years later, I fully embraced the hijab as a core Islamic practice."

🔴 Which Quranic verses resonate with you most?
💬 "The verse about holding firmly to Allah’s rope gives me and my fellow converts great strength. It reminds us to stay steadfast amidst life's challenges."

🔴 What’s the biggest challenge for new Muslims in Romania?
💬 "Raising children in a non-Islamic environment is tough. Other challenges are manageable, but preserving Islamic values in a secular society is a real struggle."

🔴 Any memories from your first visit to Mashhad?
💬 "I had just arrived in Iran and didn’t speak Persian. During a student trip to Imam Reza’s shrine, I was told my first three prayers would be answered. The peaceful atmosphere made me lose track of time—I only wanted to stay and gaze at the shrine."

🔴 What do Romanians think about Iran and Shia Islam?
💬 "Sadly, their views are shaped by biased media. They perceive Iran as a land of extremism, filled with violence and terrorism. However, focusing on cultural similarities, such as family values, could change these misconceptions."

🌙 From the Gospel to the Qur’an: A Journey of Guidance and Faith

A recently converted Muslim shared her story about how her spiritual journey took her from the Gospel to the Qur’an, revealing a profound transformation in understanding, faith, and inner peace.

📖 The Initial Attraction to the Gospel

She grew up reading the Bible, fascinated by its stories of creation and the lives of prophets. She appreciated many verses and narratives, finding it easier to read than the Qur’an initially. However, she also noticed contradictions and complexities that troubled her, especially around the concept of the Trinity:

“Jesus is both fully God and fully human, yet He prays to the Father and submits… I couldn’t understand this.”

Other issues arose from verses like John 14, where Jesus refers to the Father as superior. These theological dilemmas and the complexities of interpreting law and commandments in the New Testament left her with unanswered questions.

🔹 The Qur’an: A Guiding Light

The Qur’an, she realized, is fundamentally different: it is guidance, a clear path toward Allah. Unlike the Bible, which narrates events and stories, the Qur’an speaks directly to the heart and mind, guiding readers toward truth, accountability, and spiritual growth.

She describes the experience of reading the Qur’an:

“At first it was hard to understand, especially coming from the Bible. But after spending time with Muslims, learning the context, and revisiting the text, it became clearer. Reading it carefully and reflecting on the meaning was enlightening. I felt guided and reassured by its teachings.”

The Qur’an emphasized monotheism and direct accountability:

“There is no god but Allah. No false deity exists; only one God exists… He is near, merciful, and forgiving.”

This clarity, simplicity, and depth deeply resonated with her.

💗 Lessons That Touched Her Heart

1. Repentance and God’s Nearness – Unlike some ambiguities she faced in the Gospel, the Qur’an’s teachings on Tawbah (repentance) and Allah’s closeness brought her inner peace and guidance.

2. Accountability and Justice – She realized the Qur’an’s emphasis on personal responsibility and divine justice provided a moral and spiritual framework that made sense.

3. Clarity of Faith – The Qur’an’s message of oneness and guidance simplified her understanding of God, in contrast to theological complexities she struggled with in the Trinity.

✨ The Moment of Decision

In the week before embracing Islam, she reflected deeply on the differences:

• Christianity emphasized belief in Christ’s divinity and resurrection as the sole path to salvation.

• Islam emphasized understanding the truth, following the guidance shown, and living a life of submission to Allah.

“I felt drawn to the Qur’an’s beauty, its clear path, and the certainty that God is always present, merciful, and forgiving. I realized the Qur’an guides toward the right path and Allah’s closeness.”

🌹 Final Thoughts

She concludes:

“I cannot speak much about the Qur’an yet, as I am still learning. But I feel it is immensely beautiful, and I love it. The Qur’an is different from the Gospel because it guides, shows the right way, and leads to Allah.”
