Rahyafte (The Guided Ones)
Part 1 🔹Muslims in My Country Still Think Like Christians According to Rahyafte (the comprehensive platform for new Muslims and preachers), Mostafa Oscar, a student from Latin America, has traveled to distant countries with his family, enduring many hardships…
Part 2
In the past decade, I have introduced dozens of people in my country to Islam, the religion of love and respect for humanity. They embraced Islam with passion and love, as it is a religion of reason and respect for all people, especially women.
Muslims in my country still think like Christians, for example, believing they need a designated place to pray and worship. There is a need for more effort to introduce them to the true principles of Islam.
Our center once had a radio station and published magazines, and our Islamic activities were conducted professionally, bringing about many blessings. However, these centers are now inactive.
I had a good job in my country, but out of love for Islam, I left everything behind to pursue knowledge so I could serve my country and the Muslims better. Whenever I returned to my country, I had good resources available to me, thanks to my academic abilities. I even had credibility in my country and was invited for interviews on television.
The first challenge foreign students face is that people's perception of them and Islam is different from the true image. We are responsible for correcting this misconception because the first image people have of Muslims is often shaped by the brutal actions of terrorist groups like ISIS.
The religious attire we wear in seminaries and universities is similar to that of clerics, but in public, we wear clothing that conforms to social norms.
In my country, as in many other Latin American and non-Latin American countries, people's views of Muslims and Shias are negative due to the image of certain so-called Muslim terrorists. Many people cannot distinguish between true Shias and others, and only a few have developed the ability to make this distinction.
Once, while walking down the street with my wife, who was wearing Islamic attire, someone yelled at her from a bus, calling her crazy. This reflects the attitude toward hijab in my country. However, the hijab of some women in my country is far better than that of Iranian women!
Publishing Islamic books in my country can only be done privately, as there is no government support. When I was in my country, I personally financed the printing of books.
🔴"If I were to go back to 12 years ago, even knowing about all these hardships, I would undoubtedly make the same decision again. I would certainly choose to preach Islam because, contrary to what is promoted in the West, Islam is not a religion of killing or oppression, especially against women. It is a religion of reason, chivalry, and respect for all people and other religions. This respect for other religions is what attracts people to Islam in the West. People in the West are tired of oppression, and if they knew the true qualities of Islam, they would be drawn to it."
