The Hadith al-Kisa, also known as the "Event of the Cloak," is a famous tradition narrated by various Sunni and Shia sources. It describes an incident when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) gathered his family members under his cloak. Here is a summary:

One day, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received a revelation from Allah commanding him to gather his family members: Ali ibn Abi Talib (his cousin and son-in-law), Fatimah (his daughter), Hasan (his grandson), and Husayn (his grandson). The Prophet placed his cloak over them and prayed to Allah, invoking blessings upon them and emphasizing their purity and closeness to him.

This incident signifies the elevated status of the Prophet's family, known as the Ahl al-Bayt, in Islam. It highlights their spiritual purity and serves as a symbol of unity and love among the Prophet's household.

Salvation from Misguidance and Doctrinal Deviations

The Hadith al-Kisa (Cloak) serves as the foundation of Imamat (leadership) and Wilayah (guardianship), delineating the path to trace this lineage and determining its authenticity. The distinctive features of the Hadith al-Kisa prevent the emergence of doctrinal deviations and sectarian differences.

The quest for Imamat and Wilayah within the lineage of Imam Husayn (AS) and Imam Ali (AS), culminating in the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through Lady Fatimah (SA), establishes that the Hadith al-Kisa is a comprehensive cognitive model for recognizing the Ahl al-Bayt.

By paying attention to this Hadith, it becomes evident that various sects such as Ismailis, Waqifis, Zaydis, and Kaysanis could never have arisen.

🟢 Ever wondered about Ebrahim Mojab? 💎 When you step into the shrine of Hazrat Seyyed al-Shohda (peace be upon him) from Tell Zainbiyeh, make sure to pay your respects at the grave of "Ibrahim Mojab." But who exactly is Ibrahim Mujab?

It is said that Ibrahim, with aging parents, devoted his Friday nights to taking one of them to visit Imam Hussain, peace be upon him. This act, though challenging, became a ritual for him.

One fateful Friday night, he took his father to visit Imam Hussain (AS). When he returned, his mother expressed her desire to visit Imam Hussain before departing from this world. Despite severe back pain, Ibrahim, with utmost respect, carried his ailing mother to the shrine.

In the midst of pain, he whispered to the Imam, questioning if his service could compensate for his mother's efforts. Meanwhile, his mother, resting on Ibrahim's shoulders, prayed for him, saying, "May the God of Imam Hussain reward you for this hard work and goodness, my son."

With his mother on his shoulders, Ibrahim entered the Haram, greeting Imam Hussain (AS) in front of Fatimah's beloved shrine. A deep voice responded, "And peace be upon you, O Ibrahim."

Scholars, elders, and the crowd awaited Ibrahim's entrance, calling him "Ibrahim Mujab" or the one answered by the master. Upon Ibrahim's passing, he found his final resting place under the guidance of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him.

Remember, to be acknowledged by the Ahl al-Bayt, be respectful to your parents, whether they are living or deceased. 🙏✨

For the health and well-being of our parents, let's send salutations and prayers, whether they are with us or have departed. 🌹

🌟 #MubahalaDay: A Day to Affirm the Truth of Islam and the Virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them)
On this significant day, we commemorate the event of Mubahala, where the truth of Islam and the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt were divinely affirmed. This day marks the historic moment when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) challenged the Christians of Najran to a mutual invocation of a curse to determine the truth.
As mentioned in the Holy Quran:
"Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you – say, 'Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us].'" (Quran 3:61)
This verse, known as Ayat al-Mubahala, highlights the profound faith and confidence of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Ahl al-Bayt in the truth of Islam.
The hadith narrates:
“When this verse was revealed, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) called upon Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn and said, ‘O Allah, these are my family.’” (Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Hadith 5915)
🌷 Let's honor and celebrate #Mubahala_Day, remembering the sacrifices and the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt 🌷

🎙 Interview with Sonia Frai (Zahra), a German Convert to Islam 🕌

Sonia Frai, a German convert to Islam and a student at Al-Mustafa University in Mashhad, shares her inspiring journey of embracing Islam, especially her deep admiration for Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her), on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of this great lady of Islam. ✨

🔹 How did you convert to Islam and start your journey?
Sonia shares how her mother’s advice to read the Bible attentively led her to question the Trinity, which eventually distanced her from Christianity. After finding inconsistencies in Christian teachings, she turned to Islam, discovering its beauty and truth, especially in the teachings of the Qur’an. 🌙

🔹 How did Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) influence your decision?
Sonia mentions how studying the history of Fadak and the oppression faced by Lady Fatima (peace be upon her) opened her eyes to the truth and steered her towards Shia Islam. The life and sacrifices of Lady Zahra became a source of inspiration and guidance for her. 🌹

🔹 How do you see the role of Lady Fatima in your life?
Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) is an exemplary role model for Sonia, shaping her views on modesty, motherhood, and dedication to truth. Her lessons transcend time and are a guide in every aspect of life. 💫

🔹 How do you think we can introduce the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), especially Lady Zahra (peace be upon her), to the West?
Sonia suggests several methods, such as translating books, creating media content, and organizing interfaith dialogues to spread the message of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to a wider audience in the West. 🌍

📝 "In the face of challenges, the teachings of Islam and the exemplary life of Lady Fatima continue to guide me." – Sonia Frai (Zahra) 🌸

🔹 "What news do you have of Hussain (as)?" When Lady Umm al-Banin (sa) heard that Bashir, the envoy of Imam Sajjad (as), had arrived in Medina, she approached him and asked, "Tell me about Hussain (as)." 🔸 Bashir replied, "Your son Abbas has been martyred."…
❇️ Lady Umm al-Banin (peace be upon her) became the "door to fulfilling needs" because she sacrificed all her personal desires for the sake of Allah and the Ahl al-Bayt. She understood that true love is selfless, and by giving up her own desires, she earned the highest position in the eyes of Allah.

💡 The more a person sacrifices their own desires for the sake of the Ahl al-Bayt, the more honor and dignity Allah grants them. As the Qur'an states:

🔹 “Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, and Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (Qur’an, 3:31)

This verse teaches that true love for Allah and His Prophet, and by extension the Ahl al-Bayt, leads to the love and forgiveness of Allah.

❇️ The lesson we must learn from Lady Umm al-Banin is that our love for our celestial family (the Ahl al-Bayt) should surpass our love for our earthly family. This is consistent with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who said:

🔸 “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child, and all the people.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

This hadith emphasizes the importance of prioritizing love for the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt over everything else. Lady Umm al-Banin embodied this principle, as her devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt was paramount, even when it meant sacrificing her personal desires.

❤️ The love and desires of every person reflect their true value. As Allah says in the Qur'an:

🔹 “Those who believe are stronger in love for Allah.” (Qur'an, 2:165)

Balance means prioritizing these three loves in our hearts and choices: Allah, the Ahl al-Bayt, and Jihad. This balance is the foundation of a meaningful life, and through it, we achieve the ultimate success both in this world and the Hereafter.

🔹 Verse 155 - Surah An-Nisa | Wilayat and Mahdism Interpretation

🌙 The Noble Verse

“Because of their breaking of the covenant, and their denial of the signs of Allah, and their killing of the prophets unjustly, and their saying, ‘Our hearts are wrapped’—no, rather Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they do not believe except a few.”
(An-Nisa 4:155)

✍️ Wilayat-Based Narrations

✅ Imam Ali ibn Ibrahim al-Qummi (may Allah have mercy on him) explains this verse: The Children of Israel did not themselves kill the prophets; rather, their ancestors committed this crime. However, because they consented to that killing, Allah attributed the sin to them.
📚 (Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, vol. 3, p. 500; Al-Qummi, vol. 1, p. 157; Al-Burhan)

🔸 The key point of this narration is that heartfelt approval of the sins of predecessors makes one complicit in their crime. This Qur’anic principle underlies the truth of “Tawalla and Tabarri” (Allegiance and Disassociation) within the framework of the Wilayat of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

🌟 Wilayat Perspective

From the viewpoint of the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), the breach of covenant by the Children of Israel is not merely a historical event but a pattern representing those who oppose Divine Wilayat.

🔹 The Children of Israel turned away from the Divine prophets; similarly, after the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), some reneged on their covenant regarding the Wilayat of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (peace be upon him).
🔹 Even today, anyone who knowingly accepts or condones the historical oppression against the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is complicit in that injustice, even if not a direct perpetrator.

✨ Mahdist View

During the Occultation era as well, the test of “consent” remains:

🔸 Anyone who consents—even silently—to the usurpation of Wilayat, the distortion of history, and the rejection of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) stands among his adversaries.
🔸 Hearts that, like the Jews, say “Our hearts are covered” continue to silence or deny the call of the Hidden Imam; this is the very “sealing” of hearts due to inner disbelief.
🔸 The “few” who truly believe referenced in the verse represent the special supporters of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) who overcome these trials and join his victory.

✅ Wilayat and Mahdist Conclusion

✔️ Heartfelt approval of enmity against the Ahl al-Bayt places a person on the side of falsehood.
✔️ Mere outward faith is insufficient; true faith manifests in disassociation from the enemies of Wilayat and support for the allies of God.
✔️ The Jews of the past are not the only ones today; any group that consents to denial of the Infallible Wilayat stands in the same camp.
✔️ The path to salvation lies in allegiance to the Wilayat covenant and sincere awaiting of the appearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).

🌟 The Guided Believers and the Example of Imam Ali (AS) 🌟

Surah Al-An'am, Ayah 82:
"Those who believe and do not mix their faith with injustice—indeed, they will have security, and they are rightly guided."

This profound verse highlights the essence of true faith—faith that remains pure, untainted by oppression, falsehood, or association with anything contrary to God. It promises security and guidance to those who embody this principle. 🌿

✨ The Words of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on Ghadir Khumm:
On the day of Ghadir, the Prophet declared:
"Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) is my brother, my successor, and my Imam after me. Ali and the purified members of my household are the 'Lesser Weight', and the Quran is the 'Greater Weight'. The friends of these purified ones are the true believers mentioned by Allah in His Book. Those who truly believe in Allah and the Last Day never support the enemies of God and His Messenger. Allah has inscribed faith in their hearts and strengthened it by His Spirit, granting them gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will remain forever."

📖 Imam Baqir (AS) on the verse:
When asked about this verse, Imam Baqir said:
"This verse was revealed regarding Imam Ali (AS) and his household, for they never associated anyone with Allah, nor worshipped false gods like Al-Lat or Al-Uzza. Ali (AS) was the first to pray with the Prophet and the first to affirm his truthfulness. This verse specifically refers to him."

💫 Imam Sadiq (AS) on the verse:
Abu Maryam asked Imam Sadiq (AS) about the same verse, and he replied:
"By Allah, its special reference is to Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), who never mixed his faith with polytheism, injustice, falsehood, theft, or betrayal."

🕌 Ibn Abbas (RA) on the verse:
He explained that the true believers mentioned are those who affirm Tawhid (the Oneness of God), and the foremost among them is Imam Ali (AS), the Commander of the Faithful.

📌 Key Lessons:

1. Faith must remain pure and free from oppression, polytheism, and falsehood.
2. True believers are spiritually secure and rightly guided.
3. Imam Ali (AS) and his household exemplify the highest standard of such unwavering faith.
4. Supporting the friends of Allah and opposing His enemies is a hallmark of true belief.

Let us reflect on this verse and the lives of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), striving to preserve our faith in its purest form, and seek security and guidance through sincerity and devotion. 🌹

🌟 The First Act of Rebellion: Iblis vs. Adam (AS) 🌟

Once upon a time, in the heavenly realms, God created Adam (peace be upon him). As Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) narrates, Adam remained in a sculpted form for forty years before being fully completed. During this time, Iblis, the cursed one, would pass by and murmur to himself: “For what purpose has he been created?” (Al-‘Araf 7:13; Farat al-Kufi, p.56)

When Adam was fully formed, God breathed the soul into him. As the soul reached his mind, Adam sneezed, saying “Alhamdulillah” — a moment met with God’s mercy: “May God have mercy on you” (Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, Bihar al-Anwar, Vol.11, p.141).

Then God commanded the angels: “Prostrate before Adam”. The angels obeyed, but Iblis refused. When asked, “What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?” he arrogantly replied:
"I am better than him; You created me from fire and created him from clay" (Al-A‘raf 7:12).

This was the first act of rebellion, and as Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq explains, pride became the root of disobedience. God then said: “Descend from here; you have no right to be arrogant here. You are among the despised” (Al-A‘raf 7:13).

Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq further clarifies that God elevated Adam above Iblis just as He granted preference to the Five Pure Ones (Ahl al-Kisa) and their true followers. Iblis would never gain authority over them or their devoted Shi’a. This exception is why the cursed one boasts that he will mislead all except God’s sincere servants (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol.5, p.42; Farat al-Kufi, p.56).

Moreover, Imam Sadiq emphasizes the peril of comparing worldly or spiritual matters with one’s own reasoning: Iblis’ first mistake was his wrongful analogy, thinking fire is superior to clay. If he had understood the divine essence within Adam, he would have recognized the greater light and purity within him (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol.11, p.147).

Even scholars like Abu Hanifa were warned against relying on personal analogy in religion, as the first comparator was Iblis himself, who erred gravely by saying: “I am better than him” (Wasail al-Shi’a, Vol.27, p.55; Bihar al-Anwar, Vol.2, p.288).

This story reminds us that obedience, humility, and sincere devotion to God are above all forms of pride and false comparison. It also connects us to the divine guidance and the chosen family of God, whose followers are protected from Iblis’ deception.

🌟 Divine Guidance & True Obedience 🌟

📖 “Say: My Lord has only forbidden immoralities—whether apparent or hidden—and sin, and injustice without right; and associating with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and speaking about Allah without knowledge.” [7:33, Surah Al-A‘raf]

✨ Inner and Outer Dimensions
Imam al-Kazim (AS) explains:
"The Quran has both an apparent and a hidden meaning. All that Allah has forbidden outwardly has its hidden aspect in the unjust, and all that Allah has permitted outwardly has its hidden reality in the Imams of truth."
(Al-Tafsir al-Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 108; Al-Kafi, Vol. 1, p. 374; Wasā’il al-Shī‘a, Vol. 25, p. 10; Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 24, p. 189)

💡 Knowledge & Obedience are inseparable
Imam al-Sadiq (AS) teaches:
"No prophet was sent without commandments and prohibitions. Allah accepts from His servants only acts performed with knowledge and obedience to the one He sent. Whoever truly knows, obeys; whoever obeys, recognizes what is forbidden and permitted—both outwardly and inwardly."
(Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 24, p. 292; Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 108)

🌿 Spiritual Insight:
True worship is not only performing rituals outwardly, but understanding their essence through the guidance of the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Knowledge leads to action, and action without knowledge is incomplete. To obey Allah is to know His guidance and follow it fully—heart, soul, and deed.

🌿 The Inner and Outer Dimensions of Faith 🌿

📖 “Say: My Lord has forbidden only immoralities—what is apparent of them and what is concealed.”
— Qur’an 7:33

💠 Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (AS) said:

“Both the apparent and hidden aspects of what Allah has forbidden are forbidden, and both the apparent and hidden aspects of what He has permitted are permitted.
The outward serves as a guide to the inward, and the inward strengthens and confirms the outward.
Whatever is blameworthy outwardly is blameworthy inwardly, and whatever is praiseworthy outwardly is praiseworthy inwardly.”

(Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 110; Du‘ā’im al-Islām, Vol. 1, p. 51)

🌙 The Balance Between Knowledge and Obedience

“Allah has never sent a Prophet calling people to knowledge without also commanding them to obedience.
Allah accepts deeds only when performed according to the obligations He has decreed—after recognizing the one who conveyed them.
First comes the knowledge of Allah, then His Messenger, then His appointed successor, and then the Imams after them.
True faith is not complete without knowing and obeying them—both outwardly and inwardly.”

(Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 110; Al-Kāfī, Vol. 1, p. 374; Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 24, p. 189)

🌺 The Roots of Virtue and Vice

“We—the Ahl al-Bayt—are the roots of every goodness, and from our branches spring all righteousness:
faith, prayer, fasting, patience, forgiveness, mercy, and honoring the virtuous.

Our enemies are the roots of every evil: lying, greed, injustice, severing family ties, usury, consuming orphans’ property, and committing open and hidden immoralities.
Whoever claims to love us while holding to their way—has lied.”

(Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 112; Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 2, p. 303)

🌟 Spiritual Reflection:
True Islam is both outer obedience and inner sincerity.
Without recognizing the divinely appointed Imams (AS), deeds remain form without soul.
The Ahl al-Bayt (AS) are the living measure by which truth and falsehood, purity and corruption, are known — for they are the bridge between the outward law and the inner light of faith.

that the Light of ‘Alī (AS) accompanied all prophets in spirit before appearing beside Muhammad (PBUH) in body.
This eternal presence signifies that divine guidance has never been without the Wali (the divinely appointed successor), hidden or manifest.

The Ahl al-Bayt (AS) thus embody absolute purity, untouched by visible or invisible corruption.
They are the living manifestation of “purity in both form and essence,” the bridge between heaven and earth, and the measure of divine truth in every age.

“Do you not fear for yourself at this hour?”
He said: “What should I fear? (Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 118; Nūr al-Thaqalayn)

✨ Reflection:
This verse and these words from Imam ‘Alī (AS) unveil the serenity of true faith.
Those who live by Taqwa (God-consciousness) and Islah (righteous reform) live beyond fear and sorrow, not because danger vanishes—but because trust in divine decree transforms fear into peace.

The prophets bring light to guide humanity toward this inner freedom, and the Awliyā’ (the divinely guided Imams) embody that trust perfectly.
To live with faith is to walk calmly beneath the wings of destiny, knowing every breath unfolds by divine wisdom.

🔥 Who Is More Unjust? 🔥

📖 “Who is more unjust than one who fabricates lies against Allah or denies His signs? They will receive their portion from the Book, until Our messengers come to take their souls and say: ‘Where are those you used to invoke besides Allah?’ They will reply: ‘They have forsaken us,’ and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.”
— Qur’an 7:37

From it comes flame, smoke, and boiling heat that afflict them until the Day of Resurrection.
Then it will be said to them: ‘Where are those you used to call upon besides Allah? Where is the Imam you chose instead of the one whom Allah appointed for the people?’”

(Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 120; Biḥār al-Anwār, Vol. 35, p. 365; al-Manāqib, Vol. 3, p. 72)

🌿 Reflection:
This verse is not only a warning—it is a mirror of Wilāyah (Divine Guardianship).
To lie against Allah is to distort His path, and to deny His signs is to turn away from the light of His chosen ones.
The “Imam appointed by Allah” is the living manifestation of truth on earth.
Those who replace divine guidance with self-made leadership commit the gravest injustice—not only against God, but against their own souls.

The Sabīl Allāh —the Path of God— is not an abstract idea. It is embodied in the luminous presence of ʿAlī (AS) and the Imams from his lineage.
To walk this path is to align with divine truth;
to reject it, is to face the loneliness of those who will one day say:

“They have forsaken us.”

Likewise, Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Holding home mourning gatherings (rawḍah), reading and discussing the traditions of the Ahl al-Bayt, and speaking about the occultation of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) are all examples of reviving the cause of the Ahl al-Bayt and strengthening one's genuine bond with divine guidance.

What Is the Greatest “Good” in the Sight of God?

🔷 What does Allah Himself call the greatest “good”?

The Qur’an gives us a profound answer:

“What remains with Allah is better for you, if you are believers.”

(Qur’an 11:86)

There are countless forms of goodness in our lives. Caring for orphans is good. Praying on time is good. Helping the poor, building schools, serving others, and easing people’s difficulties are all noble deeds.

No one is saying otherwise.

But if Allah Himself tells us what is “better for you”, then we should pay attention to what He is pointing toward.

“بَقِيَّةُ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ”

In the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Baqiyyatullah is associated with the divine proof and, in particular, Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him).

This does not diminish the value of other good deeds. Rather, it gives them direction.

You may feed an orphan and earn immense reward.
You may pray at the proper time and draw closer to Allah.
You may help the needy and serve humanity.

All of these are paths toward goodness.

But knowing the Imam, remaining loyal to the wilayah of Ahl al-Bayt, and helping preserve the faith of people in the age of occultation gives these efforts a greater direction and purpose.

This is why serving Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him) is not merely an emotional expression of love.

It can mean guiding people toward faith, preserving the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt, defending truth, protecting people from losing their connection with religion, and helping those who are being swept away by the currents of our time.

The true believer is not someone who merely waits for the Imam.

The true believer prepares people for him.

When people are being pulled away from faith, someone must reach out and bring them back. When ignorance spreads, someone must preserve knowledge. When hope disappears, someone must keep the light of wilayah alive.

That, too, is a form of serving the Imam of our time.

So let us not ask only:

“What good deed can I do?”

Let us also ask:

“Which good deed brings me closer to Allah, strengthens wilayah, and helps others remain on the path of divine guidance?”

For the believer, Baqiyyatullah is not merely a name to be spoken.

He is a direction toward which the heart, faith, and deeds must move.

اللهم عجل لوليك الفرج 🤲

🔷 A Strange Admission by Abu Bakr

One of the well-known principles of Islamic jurisprudence is:

“The admission of a sane person against himself is legally binding.”

(Al-iqrar ‘ala al-nafs)

In other words, when a mentally competent person acknowledges something against his own interests, that admission carries significant legal weight.

This principle raises an important historical question concerning Abu Bakr, the first caliph.

According to reports attributed to Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, Abu Bakr, during the final hours of his life, expressed deep regret over three matters. Among the statements attributed to him is:

“I wish I had not opened Fatimah’s house, even if it had been closed for confrontation, and I wish I had not sent men into it by force.”

If this report is accepted as authentic, its implications are profound.

It would mean that, at the end of his life, Abu Bakr himself expressed regret over actions involving the house of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her)—the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and a member of the Ahl al-Bayt.

The issue becomes even more serious when considered alongside reports concerning the use of fire as a means of punishment. The Prophetic tradition contains explicit prohibitions against punishing people by fire, reserving punishment by fire for Allah.

Therefore, the historical question remains:

If the report of Abu Bakr’s final admission is authentic, what does his own regret tell us about what happened to the household of Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her)?

For those who study the history of the early Islamic period, this is not merely a question of politics.

It is a question of testimony, responsibility, and the sanctity of the household of the Prophet ﷺ.

May Allah grant us the courage to examine history with honesty, justice, and without fear.

🔷 Are We Truly Shia… or Something Else?
[A Question We All Need to Ask Ourselves]

🔸 • What Does It Mean to Be a True Shia?

Millions of people say, “We are followers of Imam Ali.”

But true Shia identity is not established by words, claims, or merely living near holy shrines.

A true follower is someone who remains patient and steadfast during times of trial, understands what faith requires, and takes their religion from the Guiding Imams (peace be upon them)—not from social media.

You could find a person with very little formal education, perhaps an elderly woman living quietly in a remote village, who has a deep connection with the Ahl al-Bayt and her Imam.

And you may find another person living in the very heart of the Shia world, surrounded by religious institutions and symbols, yet who has little genuine knowledge of the teachings of the Imams.

🌿 What matters is not how loudly we claim to be Shia.

What matters is whom we follow, what we know, and how faithfully we live by it.

🔸 • Correcting Our Understanding of the Imamate

We have fourteen sources of guidance through the Prophet ﷺ and the Ahl al-Bayt.

They taught us how to understand religion.

They explained faith.

They showed us how to live.

Yet sometimes we know very little about what they actually taught, while filling our minds with the words of scholars, influencers, celebrities, and everything we encounter online.

And then we ask:

❓ “Why doesn't Imam al-Mahdi help us?”
❓ “If he is alive, why is there so much injustice?”
❓ “Why doesn't he solve our poverty and problems?”

But perhaps the problem begins with our understanding of the Imam himself.

💡 Expecting the Imam to simply solve all our worldly problems is not the true meaning of Imamate.

The Imam is not someone we approach with a sense of entitlement, as though we are saying:

“I asked. Why haven't You fixed my problem yet?”

Following the Imam means obedience, loyalty, understanding, and supporting the truth he represents.

🌿 Before asking, “Why hasn't the Imam helped me?” ask yourself:

“How well do I actually know my Imam?”

You may know your favorite celebrity by their biography, interviews, lifestyle, and every detail of their career…

But how well do you know your Imam?

You may spend hours consuming content online, yet know very little about the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt.

That is where we need to begin.

🔷 The problem may not be that the Imam has abandoned us.

The problem may be that we have misunderstood what it means to follow him.

True Shia identity is not a title.

It is knowledge.

It is patience.

It is obedience.

It is steadfastness during trials.

And above all, it is following the guidance of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

🤲 May Allah grant us true knowledge of our Imam, sincerity in following him, and the wisdom to correct our understanding of faith.
