📖 The Verse of Honor – Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 47
وَ نَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
"And We will remove whatever bitterness or rancor was in their hearts—(they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones."
— Surah Al-Hijr (15:47)
---
🕊️ In the Light of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS):
Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said:
"There is not a man or woman among you [true Shi’a] except that the angels of Allah come to them with greetings of peace. And you are those about whom Allah said: '...brothers facing each other on thrones.'"
(Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 65, p. 36)
Furthermore, the Imam (AS) explained:
"Every single thing has a jewel, and the jewel of the children of Adam is Muhammad (PBUH) and we [the Ahl al-Bayt], and after us, our Shi'a. How excellent are our Shi'a! How close they are to the Throne of Allah! How beautiful is Allah’s treatment of them on the Day of Resurrection!"
He continued with breathtaking spiritual insights:
· 📖 Reciting Quran in prayer while standing: 100 rewards per letter.
· 🧎♂️ Reciting in prayer while sitting: 50 rewards per letter.
· 🕌 Reciting outside prayer: 10 rewards per letter.
· 🤫 Even the silent among our Shi'a receive the reward of those who recite Quran from among their opponents!
The Imam (AS) added:
"By Allah, you are sleeping on your beds, yet you receive the reward of the Mujahideen (those who struggle in Allah's way). By Allah, you are praying, yet you receive the reward of those lined up in ranks in His cause."
And he reaffirmed:
"You are indeed those with four eyes: two in the head, and two in the heart—while all of creation is like this, except that Allah has opened your inner sight and blinded theirs."
---
💭 Reflection for Today:
This tradition is not merely about otherworldly rewards—it’s about identity and responsibility.
Being a true Shi’a means carrying a light within that transforms ordinary actions into worship, and everyday life into a battlefield of the soul—where patience is jihad, silence is dhikr, and faith is vision.
We are the ones promised purified hearts, freed from envy and hatred—not only in Paradise, but from now on, if we strive to live by this purity.
Let us ask ourselves today:
Are our hearts free from ghill (rancor)?
Do we see with the eyes of the heart?
Do we feel the angels’ peace around us?

🌙 The Sacred Month of Rajab: A Divine Gift of Mercy & Opportunity 🌙
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said: "Rajab is the grand month of Allah, in which He pours the rain of His mercy upon His servants." [1] He also conveyed the words of Allah: "Fasting is for Me, and I Myself will reward it." [2]
When the Merciful Lord designates a month as His own and claims fasting for Himself, a profound connection is created. Yes, fasting during the blessed month of Rajab carries incredible virtue!
✨ The Unparalleled Value of Fasting in Rajab
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:
· "Whoever fasts one day of this month has attained the immense pleasure of Allah, divine wrath is distanced from him, and the gates of Hellfire are closed for him!" [3]
· "If the fasting person of Rajab were given gold equal to the expanse of the earth, it would not surpass the reward of his fast. Its recompense cannot be matched by any worldly reward." [4]
📅 Which Days of Rajab to Fast?
While every day is blessed, specific days hold exceptional merit:
1. The First Day: Fasting earns distance from Hellfire and is linked to Prophet Noah (AS) [6].
2. The 13th, 14th & 15th (Ayyam al-Beedh): Fasting carries immense reward. The 14th is especially significant, with a reward "no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and has never crossed the mind of any human." [9]
3. The 27th (Eid al-Mab'ath): The day of the Prophet's mission. Fasting equals the reward of 70 years [10].
4. The Last Three Days: Imam al-Sadiq (AS) described the great salvation and protections granted for fasting the final 1, 2, or 3 days of Rajab [11]. Fasting the final day brings forgiveness of sins [12].
5. A Thursday-Friday-Saturday sequence: Fasting these three consecutive days yields great virtue [13].
🤲 For Those Unable to Fast: Alternative Paths to Reward
The mercy of this month extends to everyone:
· For those who cannot fast: Give charity (Sadaqah) each day—even a piece of bread or a meal to the needy. The Prophet (PBUH) assured this attains the virtues of fasting, or even more [14]. Imam Ali (AS) emphasized the immense heavenly reward for charity in Rajab [15].
· For those who cannot give charity: Recite this Tasbeeh 100 times daily to attain the reward of fasting in Rajab:
"Subhan-al-Ilahil-Jaleel, Subhan-man-la-Yanbaghit-Tasbeehu Illa Lah, Subhan-al-A'azzil-Akram, Subhan-man Labis-al-'Izzata wa Huwa Lahoo Ahl." [16]
🕋 Conclusion: Seize the Divine Opportunity
Rajab is a unique spiritual season. Whether through fasting, charity, or supplication, let us purify our hearts and draw closer to Allah's infinite mercy.

📿 The Imam of the Age (AJ) and the Fate of the Jews 📿
One of the most dangerous enemies of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ) and his companions are the Jews. Almighty God states:
"Indeed, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists." (Quran 5:82)
As understood from some narrations, Sufyani—the fiercest enemy of Imam Mahdi (AJ)—is supported by the Western powers and the Jews. He is essentially brought to power to protect the borders of Israel and suppress revolutionary forces, so that his masters remain safe from the threat of the Khorasan Army and the helpers of the Mahdi (AJ), who have mobilized to liberate Jerusalem.
In Surah Al-Isra, verses 4-7, God informs:
"We decreed to the Children of Israel in the Book: 'You will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness.' So when the first of the two promises came, We sent against you servants of Ours of great might, and they ravaged [your] homes. That was a promise fulfilled. Then We gave back to you a return victory over them and supported you with wealth and children and made you more numerous in manpower. If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, it is for yourselves.' Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the Temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction."
Imam al-Sadiq (AS) interpreted the phrase "We sent against you servants of Ours of great might" as:
"They are the ones whom Allah will raise before the rising of the Qa'im (AJ); they will not invite an enemy from the enemies of the Family of the Prophet (PBUH) except that they will kill him."
Imam al-Baqir (AS) stated regarding the same verse:
"He is the Qa'im and his companions, who possess great strength and power."
It is narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (AS) that after reciting this verse, a companion asked: "May I be your ransom! Who are they?" The Imam said three times:
"By Allah, they are the people of Qom."
From the existing narrations in both Shia and Sunni sources, it appears that the intended battle between Muslims and Jews in the End Times is this very conflict. The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"The Hour will not be established until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Muslims will kill them until a Jew hides behind a stone or a tree, and the stone or tree will say: 'O Muslim! O servant of Allah! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!'"
From these narrations, we understand that Allah will prepare the ground for the Appearance through the Iranians. The Jewish resistance against Muslims will occur in several stages, and their final destruction will be at the hands of Imam Mahdi (AJ).
Another form of confrontation will be cultural: Imam Mahdi (AJ) will bring out the original Torah from the cave of Antioch and from mountains in "Sham" and "Palestine," and from Lake Tiberias, using it as proof against the Jews.
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"He will bring out the Torah and the Gospel from a land called Antioch."
And he (PBUH) also said:
"The sacred Ark (Tabut) will be revealed from Lake Tiberias at his hands. His companions will bring it and place it before him in Jerusalem. When the Jews see it, a large group of them, about thirty thousand, will embrace Islam."
🕋 The ultimate liberation and divine justice are near.

During the height of his fame, the renowned scholar Allama Abdul Husayn Amini was invited to a dinner gathering while visiting either Makkah or Madinah.
The hosts were known for theological disputes and intended to engage him in debate. Allama Amini accepted the invitation on one condition:
"I will attend only if there is no discussion or argument—just a dinner gathering."
They agreed, but among themselves they thought, "Let him come; we will find a way to challenge him."
When he arrived, there were around seventy or eighty prominent scholars present, many of whom were renowned memorizers of hadith, some said to have memorized tens of thousands of narrations.
After the meal, they sought a pretext to begin a discussion. Allama Amini reminded them:
"Our agreement was that this would be only a dinner gathering."
One of them replied:
"Very well. Let us not debate. Instead, each scholar can simply recite a hadith."
The suggestion was accepted. One by one, the scholars recited narrations.
When it was Allama Amini's turn, he said:
"I will narrate a hadith on one condition: after I recite it, each of you must state your opinion regarding its authenticity."
They agreed.
He then narrated:
After the narration was recited, he turned to the scholars one by one and asked them about its chain of transmission and authenticity.
Each acknowledged that the hadith was authentic.
Then Allama Amini asked a single question:
"Did Fatimah al-Zahra know the Imam of her time or not?"
Silence filled the gathering.
"Who was the Imam of Fatimah?"
No one answered.
The scholars lowered their heads. For a long while, no response was given. Eventually, they began leaving one by one without saying a word.
A preacher who later recounted this incident said:
"I swear by Allah that I myself raised this very question in Masjid al-Haram."
He described how his discussion partner simply smiled when asked to answer.
"Why are you smiling?" he asked.
The man replied:
"I am smiling at myself, because I do not know what to say."
"If I say that Fatimah did not know the Imam of her time, then according to the hadith I must conclude something impossible regarding the daughter of the Prophet. But if I say she did know the Imam of her time, how can I say that Abu Bakr was her Imam when the historical reports state that she passed away while deeply displeased with him? Can someone be angry with the Imam whom he is religiously obliged to follow?"
And so, the question remained unanswered.

🖋️ The Hadith of Pen and Paper — Hadith al-Qirtas
One of the most important narrations extensively transmitted in both Shi'a and Sunni hadith and historical sources is the Hadith of Pen and Paper, widely known as Hadith al-Qirtas (The Hadith of the Writing Material).
During the final days of the blessed life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a group of his Companions came to visit him. The Prophet ﷺ asked them to bring him writing materials so that he could write something for them that would prevent them from ever going astray after him.
However, Umar ibn al-Khattab, the second caliph according to Sunni tradition, objected and prevented the request from being carried out, declaring that the Prophet ﷺ was overcome by illness and that the Qur'an was sufficient. A dispute and commotion then broke out among those present.
As the disagreement intensified, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to leave, and consequently the writing requested by the Prophet ﷺ was never made.

❌ “Perhaps the Prophet ﷺ meant only friendship.”
The proposed document, according to this interpretation, would have removed such ambiguity.
6⃣ 📖 OTHER HADITHS CONCERNING IMAM ALI (ع)
Al-Maliki also stresses that Ghadir is not the only evidence discussed in the Islamic tradition.
He refers to other reports and virtues associated with Imam Ali (ع), including:
🔹 Hadith al-Manzilah — “You are to me as Aaron was to Moses…”
🔹 The Hadith of Brotherhood
🔹 The narration concerning Buraidah
🔹 Other reports concerning Ali’s (ع) exceptional position and virtues.
His argument is that these narrations should not necessarily be examined in isolation.
Rather, their combined meaning and historical context should be considered.
7⃣ ❗ “THE UMMAH FAILED THE TEST”
Perhaps the most provocative conclusion in al-Maliki’s discussion is his assessment of what followed.
According to his interpretation, the Prophet ﷺ made the matter clear, but the Ummah ultimately failed to accept the full implications of that declaration.
Thus, the question becomes much larger than a disagreement between historical personalities.
It becomes a question of:
Who has the final authority when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ speaks?
📌 The Prophet ﷺ — or the political judgment of those around him?
🧩 THE CENTRAL QUESTION
The entire episode can therefore be summarized in one fundamental question:
If the Prophet ﷺ asked for a written document that would prevent the Ummah from going astray, why was that request not fulfilled?
And if the answer is that another person believed his own judgment was sufficient, then:
⚠️ Can a believer place that judgment above the explicit request of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?
This is precisely the dilemma that Hasan Farhan al-Maliki argues Sunnis must confront honestly.
🔥 THE QUESTION OF GHADIR REMAINS
Was Ghadir merely a declaration of love and friendship toward Imam Ali (ع)?
Or was it part of a broader prophetic effort to establish Ali’s position and leadership after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?
And was the Calamity of Thursday the final opportunity to put that matter beyond dispute?
These are not merely historical questions. They go to the heart of how the authority of the Prophet ﷺ is understood.

🔷 What Does “Thirty Years of Hadith Prohibition” Mean?
[An Image of a Catastrophe in Islam]
🔸 How severe was the censorship?
Consider a government whose legitimacy was built upon a particular historical event. If the truth of that event were exposed, the very basis of its legitimacy would be called into question.
So how could such a government allow that event to be accurately transmitted to future generations?
The answer was censorship.
For approximately thirty years after the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the transmission and recording of his sayings and traditions were subjected to severe restrictions.
Think about what that means.
🌱 Imagine a gardener planting a seed.
He waters it, nourishes it, protects it, and patiently helps it grow until the plant can stand on its own.
Now imagine that instead of nurturing it, someone steps on it and crushes it.
What happens to its growth?
It becomes distorted.
Its development is disrupted.
It no longer grows naturally.
This is how a religious tradition can be damaged when its connection to the words and teachings of its Prophet is deliberately suppressed.
🔹 For thirty years, “The Messenger of Allah said…” was not something that could simply be transmitted freely.
And then we are told:
📖 “We have the Book of Allah; that is sufficient for us.”
But does the Qur’an itself not assign the Prophet ﷺ the responsibility of explaining and clarifying revelation?
The Qur’an speaks of the Prophet teaching people the Book and wisdom.
So what happens when the Prophet’s explanations and teachings are pushed aside?
A gap is created—and someone will eventually fill it.
⚠️ And this is where another danger emerges: the infiltration of foreign narratives and Israeliyyat into Islamic interpretation.
Figures such as Ka'b al-Ahbar gained influence in the field of religious interpretation. Narratives attributed to earlier traditions began entering the process of explaining the Qur’an.
A person could simply enter the Muslim community, declare:
And then, remarkably, the next day, begin publicly interpreting the Qur’an.
📌 Whoever controls religious interpretation can profoundly influence how a generation understands its religion.
And remember:
When authentic Prophetic teachings are suppressed, the vacuum does not remain empty.
Someone else steps in.
Someone else speaks.
Someone else interprets.
Someone else becomes the “source” through which people understand their faith.
🔻 This is why understanding the history of hadith censorship is not a minor historical detail.
It is a key to understanding:
How was the memory of the Prophet preserved?
Who was allowed to transmit his words?
Who was allowed to interpret the Qur’an?
And how did foreign narratives enter Islamic thought?
The Qur’an says that the Prophet ﷺ was sent to teach and explain.
So if for decades people are prevented from saying:
“The Messenger of Allah said…”
we should seriously ask:
❓ What happens to a religion when its divinely appointed teacher is silenced?
🔷 Thirty years is not a small period of time.
Thirty years is enough to shape a generation.
And sometimes, to understand the tragedies that came later,
we must first understand what was prevented from being remembered.

Rahyafte (The Guided Ones)
🔷 From Self-Censorship to the Destruction of Sunni Hadith Scholars 🔸 Even within major Sunni historical and biographical sources, despite centuries of attempts to suppress uncomfortable accounts, traces of historical reports sometimes emerge from the very…
♦️ Ibn al-Qaddah narrates from Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), who said:
🔸️ “My father engaged constantly in the remembrance of Allah. I would walk with him and he would remember Allah; I would eat with him and he would remember Allah. Even when he spoke with others and narrated a hadith to them, that would not distract him from the remembrance of Allah. I would see him with his tongue touching the roof of his mouth, saying:
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ
🔹️ He would gather us together and instruct us all to remain engaged in dhikr until sunrise. Whoever among us was able to recite the Qur’an, he would instruct them to recite the Qur’an; and whoever was unable to do so, he would instruct them to engage in dhikr.
🔸️ A house in which the Qur’an is recited and Allah is remembered is filled with abundant blessings. The angels are present there, the devils leave that house, and it shines and radiates light for the inhabitants of the heavens, just as the stars shine for the inhabitants of the earth.
And a house in which the Qur’an is not recited and Allah is not remembered loses its blessings; the angels leave it, and the devils enter it.”
