"Guide us to the Straight Path."
﴿اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ﴾
Qur’an 1:6

“The firmest among you upon the Ṣirāṭ (Straight Path) is the one who has the greatest love for my Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).”

“ʿAlī (peace be upon him) is the guardian and judge of this nation, its witness, and the one entrusted with its reckoning. He is the possessor of the highest rank, the radiant Path of Truth, the Way, and the Straight Path of Allah. Through him, after me, people are guided out of misguidance and are granted insight after blindness.”

“The Ṣirāṭ is the path to the knowledge of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. There are two Ṣirāṭs: one in this world and one in the Hereafter. The Ṣirāṭ in this world is the Imam whose obedience is obligatory. Whoever recognizes him in this world and follows his guidance will successfully cross the Ṣirāṭ in the Hereafter—the bridge over Hell. But whoever fails to recognize him in this world will stumble on that bridge and fall into the Fire.”
