📖 Ingratitude in Surah Al-Adiyat (Verse 6) ▫️ Surah Al-Adiyat, verse 6, highlights human ingratitude toward the Creator. The word "Kanood" refers to someone who receives blessings but fails to appreciate them. This ingratitude can manifest in neglecting proper…
🔹 Kanood: Ingratitude in the Presence of Truth 🔹
📖 Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 6:
"Indeed, man is ungrateful to his Lord." (إِنَّ الْإِنْسانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُود)
The word "Kanood" comes from the root "Kand", meaning one who rejects sustenance. Ingratitude has various forms, and Kanood is one of them—it describes someone who had the opportunity to receive divine guidance but chose to turn away. It is like a student abandoning a great teacher despite having access to knowledge.
🔸 Kanood applies to people who recognize the truth but fail to follow it. Throughout history, many have lived during the era of divine leaders (Imams and Prophets), yet only a fraction truly embraced guidance.
🔸 Some individuals may appear human externally but have lost their true essence of humanity, becoming dominated by satanic desires and animalistic traits. Trying to cultivate righteousness in such a person is like sowing wheat in barren land—just as one cannot expect crops from a salty desert, one cannot expect spiritual growth from those who reject divine truth.
🔸 Most people are simply unaware (Mustad’af), but "Lakanood" refers to those who know the truth yet reject it. Such people may even live in close proximity to divine leaders but remain spiritually deprived.
🔸 A hadith states: "The worst of people are our servants." This means that some of the most corrupt individuals were those who lived closest to the Infallibles, yet instead of elevating themselves, they became the worst of humanity.
🔸 Divine authority acts like a refining furnace—it purifies the righteous and exposes the corrupt. Some of history's worst figures were those who lived alongside Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) but strayed into evil.

🔊 A Global Conflict: Human Nature vs. Animal Instinct
In today's global struggle, there is a fundamental war being waged: the war of "Fitrah" (innate human nature) against "Tabiat" (base instinct).
---
⚔️ Two Conflicting Worldviews
The Nature-Driven Mindset (Tabiat):
This mindset is rooted in immediate, material needs:
· "What fills my stomach?"
· "What satisfies my desires?"
· "What benefits my family alone?"
It has a narrow, local perspective, focused only on self-preservation and material accumulation. History's tyrants, from fallen monarchs to modern empire-builders, operated from this place—relying on wealth, weapons, and yes-men, but ultimately failing when faced with awakened human conscience.
The Conscience-Driven Mindset (Fitrah):
This is the higher calling of humanity, seeing beyond the self:
· It hears not only the cries of one’s own children, but the hunger of children in Africa.
· It envisions both this world and the hereafter.
· It values dignity, justice, and sacrifice over material gain.
This is the worldview that inspired the Islamic Revolution—where poor, seemingly powerless people triumphed over a heavily armed king, not with superior weaponry, but with superior faith and awakened conscience.
---
💥 Why America Will Certainly Fail
America, in its global dominance, operates purely on the logic of "Tabiat":
· It seeks servile regimes that obey its command.
· It uses nations and leaders like "disposable gloves"—using them to clean its mess, then discarding them (as seen with the Shah, Mubarak, etc.).
· It believes in the power of atomic bombs, F-16s, and economic coercion.
But it makes one fatal error: it does not understand human "Fitrah."
Revolutionary victory proved that when human conscience is awakened, no amount of weaponry can suppress it. The Shah had phantom jets, missiles, and bombs—yet the first to abandon him were his own pilots. Why? Because "Fitrah" within them resonated with the call of truth.
---
💎 The Automatic Weapon of Faith
In material warfare, a bullet is fired, an enemy falls—it's a one-for-one transaction.
But in the war of "Fitrah," every martyr is like a self-loading round in an automatic weapon.
· One falls, and ten more rise in their place.
· A leader is martyred (like Imad Mughniyeh of Hezbollah), and his death brings not weakness, but an army of awakened souls.
· Imam Hussain (AS) did more for humanity through his martyrdom than through his life—his sacrifice continues to inspire millions.
This is the divine law of sacrifice: martyrdom doesn't deplete strength; it multiplies it.
---
📜 The Way Forward: Returning to Divine Anthropology
The solution for the Muslim world is not merely to build more bombs, but to:
1. Deeply understand and codify the "Fitrah-based" view of humanity derived from the Quran and Hadith.
2. Build an economic and social system based on this spiritual anthropology.
3. Teach this worldview so that nations are led not by instinct, but by conscience.
Imam Khomeini succeeded because he spoke to the "Fitrah" of human beings.
Today's resistance movements continue on that path—not with the logic of empires, but with the logic of faith, sacrifice, and awakened human dignity.
Victory belongs not to those with the biggest bombs, but to those who speak to the eternal conscience of humanity.
