🔺 Claudio Ramona Tabares
A New Muslim Lady from Colombia: Embracing Islam as a Religion of Love, Peace, and Harmony
🌐 Reported by Rahyafte (Comprehensive Platform for Preachers and New Muslims)
A recent Muslim convert from Colombia, Claudio Ramona Tabares, was warmly hosted by the International Affairs Department of Astan Quds Razavi at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS). Reflecting on her experience, she shared, "When I entered the sanctuary of Imam Reza (AS), I felt as if the Imam himself had invited me and come to greet me. Consequently, I became filled with love and hope."
Claudio, who has embraced the Islamic faith for several years, hails from Colombia but currently resides in Germany. Prior to her conversion to Islam, she followed the Christian faith.
She continued: "I have always sought to gain knowledge about Islam and, for this purpose, engaged in reading and research." Claudio reminisced about her childhood, mentioning how she used to cover herself like Muslim women during childhood games, a choice her mother disapproved of.
The recent Muslim convert affirmed, "Through my research on the internet and YouTube, I learned that Muslims pray, and I familiarized myself with the way of performing prayers. Despite constant disapproval from my family, I secretly chose Islam for myself and embraced the faith."
She went on to express her gratitude to God for granting her the strength to withstand the challenges ahead. Claudio said, "I prayed to God to empower me to remain resilient in the face of the difficulties ahead and to achieve my goals, which involve advocating for Islam. I am confident that God has heard my voice and is always with me, supporting me on this path."
Claudio, recognizing Islam as a religion of love, peace, and harmony, added, "The Quran also introduces Islam as a religion of peace, reconciliation, and friendship. Our Prophet, Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), is a prophet of mercy and compassion, teaching us good ethics."
She continued, "Since I chose to wear the hijab, I have felt a sense of well-being. Just as God stated in the Quran, 'The hijab is a protection for you,' I felt this protection and security from the depths of my being."
As the only Muslim in her family, Claudio spoke about her efforts to guide others in her country towards Islam, stating, "I strive to promote the true religion of Islam and elucidate its heavenly characteristics so that others may also develop an interest in this faith. I am not giving up on any effort in this regard."
Claudio also expressed her feelings of honor at the shrine of Imam Ali al-Reza (AS), saying, "When I entered the sanctuary of Imam Reza (AS), I felt as if the Imam himself had invited me and come to greet me. Consequently, I became filled with love and hope."
She concluded by advising all Muslim women, "The only path to tread is the straight path, and in this journey, you must be strong and resilient." #NewMuslim #IslamLovePeace #JourneyToIslam #IslamicValues #HijabEmpowerment
