In the eyes of human rights laws, all individuals should be equally entitled to protection and dignity. However, recent events have shown disparities in how these principles are applied.
Are we witnessing the creation of another chapter in the story of Animal Farm, where some are considered more equal than others? Ironically, animals often exhibit more decency in their interactions than world powers do.
As we reflect on these discrepancies, let us remember the wisdom of the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), emphasizing the sanctity of all human life, regardless of nationality or ethnicity.
📜 "And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference." (Quran, 17:70)
🌼 "All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; a white has no superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white; none have superiority over another except by piety and good action." 🇵🇸 The Truth About Palestine: The Myth of “Voluntary Land Sale”
For decades, Western media has promoted a deceptive narrative —
that Palestinians willingly sold their lands to Jews,
and therefore have no right to complain that “their country was taken.”
But if that were true, why do generations of Palestinians still cry out, “Our land was stolen!”?
Why has the world witnessed over seven decades of resistance and untold suffering?
📅 The Nakba — The Catastrophe
On May 14, 1948, around 725,000 Palestinian Arabs were forced to flee their homes during the Arab-Israeli War.
It was not migration by choice — it was mass expulsion.
Families marched into the desert, villages were destroyed, and entire communities were erased.
The United Nations remembers this dark day as “Yawm al-Nakba” — The Day of Catastrophe.
📚 Historian Ilan Pappé: Exposing the Fabrication
Ilan Pappé — Israeli historian and former professor at the University of Haifa,
now at the University of Exeter (UK) — has devoted his life to uncovering the historical truth.
In his books, such as:
• The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine
• Ten Myths About Israel
• A History of Modern Palestine
he dismantles the myths upon which modern Israel was founded.
Pappé reveals that the displacement of Palestinians was not voluntary,
but a deliberate and systematic plan of ethnic cleansing —
a policy designed to create a “Jewish homeland” by erasing the native people of the land.
🕊 Before the Occupation
Before 1948, Palestine was a thriving society —
advancing through modernization, education, and national identity.
The Zionist claim that “Jews made the desert bloom” is a historical distortion.
The land was alive, cultivated, and full of communities — Muslim, Christian, and Jewish —
living together before the colonial project began.
🕍 Who Were the Newcomers?
The Jews who had long lived near al-Aqsa Mosque over centuries
had gradually become part of the region’s religious fabric — some Christian, some Muslim.
But in the early 20th century, a new wave of migrants arrived —
from Russia, Europe, and the United States —
driven not by faith, but by a political ideology called Zionism.
Their goal was not coexistence, but replacement.
⚖️ The British Role and the Blueprint for Expulsion
Pappé’s research shows that this massive displacement
was part of Britain’s geopolitical planning since the late 1890s,
backed by certain Western powers who sought control over the Middle East.
The result: decades of war, bloodshed, and the suffering of millions of Palestinian families.
💔 The Hypocrisy of “Human Rights”
Today, as global awareness rises and the Palestinian cause once again captures the world’s attention,
we must ask:
Where are the courts of justice?
Where are the so-called defenders of peace and human rights?
Why are they silent — or worse, complicit —
in legitimizing one of the greatest injustices of modern times?
