The #WestBank of the Jordan River, which had been designated for Palestinians on paper years ago (after the Oslo Accords), is the other side of the map that receives little attention.

3⃣ Israel, from the very beginning, started #settlement-building in the West Bank, contrary to its commitments. Over time, by connecting scattered settlements, it has continued its project of fabricating new territories for Israel. Arabs refer to the settlers as "Musta'been" (settlers). In Persian, this term might be translated as "land-invader." A Musta'been is someone who moves to another land, expels or annihilates its original inhabitants, and then falsifies the land as their own homeland.
