🔴 Holy Salvation: The Theft of Palestinian Lands

1⃣ After #AlAqsaStorm, the Gaza Strip has witnessed one of the bloodiest genocides in contemporary history. Borders are closed, and even the smallest humanitarian aid cannot enter Gaza. Following the breaking of the second ceasefire, the situation has worsened significantly. Gaza, with the indifference of the media and countries, has turned into the largest open-air prison in the world, where nearly 2 million prisoners cannot even meet their basic needs.

2⃣ On the other side of the map of #Palestine, other events are quietly taking place, gradually continuing the #GazaGenocide project. The #WestBank of the Jordan River, which had been designated for Palestinians on paper years ago (after the Oslo Accords), is the other side of the map that receives little attention.

3⃣ Israel, from the very beginning, started #settlement-building in the West Bank, contrary to its commitments. Over time, by connecting scattered settlements, it has continued its project of fabricating new territories for Israel. Arabs refer to the settlers as "Musta'been" (settlers). In Persian, this term might be translated as "land-invader." A Musta'been is someone who moves to another land, expels or annihilates its original inhabitants, and then falsifies the land as their own homeland. The term "settler" should not be limited to a specific group of Israelis, but rather, #IsraelFoundation itself is based on this #land-theft or, more precisely, #homeland-theft.

4⃣ The documentary Holy Salvation narrates the story from the perspective of the settlers/land-invaders. This documentary, produced by TRT in 2024, tells the story of Zionists who, while Israel relentlessly attacks Gaza, are systematically involved in #landfabrication in the West Bank. The filmmakers travel to the occupied territories and meet a group called #HilltopYouth. The Hilltop Youth is a group of Zionists, led by #DanielaWeiss, who regularly build new settlements on hilltops in the West Bank whenever necessary.

5⃣ Daniela Weiss says: "If Prime Minister Netanyahu calls me and says, 'Daniela! We need a new outpost on a hilltop right now, are you ready to go?' I’m always ready! Not only am I ready, but it has always been my dream!" What becomes most evident in this documentary is the filmmaker’s direct confrontation with the essence of Israel: unconditional, ongoing occupation. The filmmakers, accompanied by a former Israeli soldier, interview the Hilltop Youth up close, depicting their violence without any restraint. The Hilltop Youth commit every crime to fabricate new lands, and these crimes are carried out with full legal immunity provided by the Israeli government.

💥 Footnote 1: The "punitive attacks" referred to in the documentary refer to the Price Tag Policy, which Zionists implement in response to any action against settlement construction. Their justification is that anyone who opposes settlements must pay a heavy price.

According to agreements with the Palestinian Authority, the responsibility for internal security in area A lies with the Palestinian Authority, coordinated with Israel. Israel is surrounded by walls. Not one, but an entire system of high-tech barriers isolating it from every neighbor:

· West Bank: The 713-km "Separation Barrier," an 8-meter-tall integrated military system with concrete, fences, sensors, drones, and patrol roads.
· Gaza: A massive 65-km underground and above-ground wall, completed in 2021 at a cost of over $1 billion, packed with sensors to detect tunnels.
· Egypt: A 245-km, 6-meter-high steel fence along the Sinai border, completed in 2013 for ~$450 million to block African refugees.
· Lebanon: A 9-meter-high concrete wall under construction along the Blue Line, cited by UNIFIL as encroaching on Lebanese territory.

This isn't a new idea. It stems from a foundational Zionist security doctrine:

1. Theodor Herzl envisioned a Jewish state as "part of a wall of Europe against Asia."
2. Ze'ev Jabotinsky formalized this in his 1923 "Iron Wall" theory, arguing the project could only survive behind an impenetrable barrier.

Over time, this has evolved from a strategy into what experts call 'Wall Syndrome'—a state where fortifications transform from temporary tools into a fixed security mentality, creating a false sense of safety and becoming part of the state's security identity.

But do these walls provide real security?

On October 7, 2023, one of the world's most complex wall systems collapsed in hours. This was not just an intelligence failure; it was the collapse of the core security doctrine that invested billions and decades into these very walls. Hamas fighters, through study and preparation, exposed its vulnerabilities.

The event revealed a difficult truth: Walls can control borders, but they do not provide sustainable security or prevent sudden collapse in moments of real testing.

The billions spent on concrete and sensors could not buy what decades of occupation and conflict have eroded: lasting peace and genuine safety.
