🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia's "Mukaab": A Gigantic Cube in the Heart of Riyadh
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is building a massive cube-shaped structure in Riyadh called "The Mukaab" — a name literally meaning "the cube". The resemblance to the Kaaba in Mecca has sparked widespread controversy and discussion.
This gigantic structure will measure 400 meters in height, width, and depth — roughly the height of Tehran’s Milad Tower! Inside, it will host everything from shopping malls and luxury hotels to residential areas and entertainment centers.
Estimated cost? $50 billion.
Completion target? By 2030.
Many are questioning the symbolism and purpose of such a project, especially in a country that claims to safeguard Islamic values.
