🔴 Desert Disco Near Medina?
Saudi Arabia is rapidly transforming — and not everyone is pleased.
Last night, the "KAYAN Music Desert Disco" took place near Jabal al-Fil (Elephant Rock) in the Al-‘Ula desert, just east of Medina — the sacred city where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) lived.
Once a quiet rock formation in the desert, Jabal al-Fil has now become a luxury tourist hotspot, surrounded by high-end desert resorts and... electronic dance music.
As concerts and discos grow closer and closer to the holy city, many ask:
But Saudi Arabia, pushing its Vision 2030, is laser-focused on attracting tourism and non-oil income — regardless of religious sensitivities.

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia's "Mukaab": A Gigantic Cube in the Heart of Riyadh
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is building a massive cube-shaped structure in Riyadh called "The Mukaab" — a name literally meaning "the cube". The resemblance to the Kaaba in Mecca has sparked widespread controversy and discussion.
This gigantic structure will measure 400 meters in height, width, and depth — roughly the height of Tehran’s Milad Tower! Inside, it will host everything from shopping malls and luxury hotels to residential areas and entertainment centers.
Estimated cost? $50 billion.
Completion target? By 2030.
Many are questioning the symbolism and purpose of such a project, especially in a country that claims to safeguard Islamic values.
