👶 Concerns about Vaccination in Iran? Here's a Guide for Parents-to-be:

In Iran, there's a standardized vaccination schedule for children. However, as a parent, you have the right to communicate your preferences with healthcare providers. Taking proactive steps can make a significant difference.

✨ How to Address Vaccine Concerns:

🏥 Step 1: Early Communication
Before your child's birth, consider visiting a hospital, especially a private one. Engage in a discussion about your concerns and vaccination preferences.

🤝 Step 2: Open Dialogue
Discuss openly with healthcare providers and aim for a mutual understanding. While they might initially have reservations or inquire about your reasons, your openness can pave the way for cooperation.

📝 Step 3: Agreement and Consent
Reach a consensus that aligns with your wishes. Providers might request you to fill out a consent form.

🤔 Expecting Skepticism? Stay Firm!
Anticipate some skepticism or attempts to question the scientific basis of your decision. Stay firm in your choice and advocate for your parental rights.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Personal Note:
On a personal note, I've not done the vaccination for my one-month-old child. The process is straightforward – initiate a conversation with a hospital, preferably a private one, before the baby's birth. Discuss your preferences, overcome initial reservations, and solidify an agreement that respects your choices.

Remember, your voice as a parent matters, and advocating for your child's health is an essential part of parenthood. 🍼✨ #Parenting #VaccinationChoice #ChildHealth #ParenthoodJourney

Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) advised:

At the age of 3, teach the child to recite "There is no god but Allah" seven times (to learn).
At 4, instruct him to repeat "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" seven times (to memorize).
By the age of 5, guide him to face the qibla and encourage him to prostrate.
By the end of 6, teach him the correct posture of bowing and prostration.
And at 7, tell the child: Wash your hands and face, then say to him: Pray.

🔸 On Monitoring a Child’s Habit of Nudity

*"Would you allow a child who isn’t yet accountable (Mukallaf) to smoke cigarettes? Of course not—you’d say they’ll get used to it and become a smoker as they grow older. This shows that certain restrictions apply even at an early age. Would you allow them to use heroin? Yet some parents take their children outside wearing just a sleeveless shirt. When you advise them, they respond: ‘They’re not Mukallaf yet!’

But if the child becomes accustomed to nudity, will modesty suddenly appear in them after they reach the age of accountability? No! Just as humans possess desires, they also have safeguards like modesty, which controls those desires. Every trait has its complement and guardian.

However, because we fail to understand this, we neglect its importance. Faithlessness starts with such carelessness, while faith begins with attentiveness to these matters.”*

🌸 Imam Ali (AS):
🔹 "Indeed, the child has rights over the parent, and the parent has rights over the child. The right of the parent over the child is that the child obeys them in everything except disobedience to Allah (SWT). And the right of the child over the parent is to give them a good name, raise them well, and teach them the Quran."

🔴 A Heart-Touching Story from a 9-Year-Old Girl’s First Prayer Ceremony

✍️ From the book “Par Parvaz” (The Flight of Wings), p.122

In 1983, our school principal—who truly loved the students and was the only teacher who prayed on time with us—came to our class and said:

“Next Monday, we will have a ceremony for your first prayers. Bring your prayer items and come with your mothers.”

💔 I felt sad immediately… because at home, no one cared about such things. We didn’t pray.

The other girls were excited—each one brought her prayer set with her mother. The principal later called me and gently asked why I hadn’t brought mine. I couldn’t hold back my tears and ran out of her office.

The next day, she called me again and said with a smile,

“My dear, your mother sent this for you—a prayer cloth, a rug, and some perfume.”
But I knew… my mother hadn’t sent anything.

🌸 The day of the ceremony arrived. A kind cleric spoke to us and said:

“Children, when you go home, perform your first prayer and ask God for whatever you wish. He will surely grant it.”

I went home happy. At Maghrib time, I spread my prayer rug to pray. My mother saw me but didn’t say a word. When my father came home and saw my prayer rug, he became angry and shouted:

“Go do your homework! What nonsense is this?”

💧 I broke into tears and ran to my room. I didn’t eat dinner that night and fell asleep crying.

At dawn, the call to prayer echoed from the nearby Hosseiniyah (prayer hall). I started crying again. Suddenly, I heard my parents calling me. When I opened the door, I saw both of them in tears.

Shocked, I asked: “What happened?”
They hugged me tightly and said:

“Last night, we both had the same dream...”

They described seeing themselves dragged toward the edge of Hell.
“You didn’t pray; you did no good deeds,” the angels said angrily.
They cried and begged, but nothing helped. Then suddenly, a voice called out:
“Stop! Stop! There was a prayer rug spread in this house last night—for the sake of that rug, do not punish them.”

😢 That night changed everything. My parents repented. They made up for years of missed prayers and fasts and lived in a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Eventually, both went to Hajj in 1995—and forty days after returning, they passed away peacefully, ending their lives with faith.

🌿 Years later, when I became a teacher, I searched for my principal—the woman who gave me that prayer rug. I finally found her school in Kiar, Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province. But when I arrived, a black banner was hanging on the wall. She had passed away just a week earlier.

💔 May God bless her soul. That prayer rug changed my family’s destiny. Today, as a third-grade teacher myself, I honor her memory every year during my students’ first prayer ceremony—and I feel the blessings of timely prayer throughout my life.

🕊 Your little sister — Please remember me in your prayers.

🌱 The foundation of faith is built in childhood—not repaired in adulthood.

Parents often invest everything in their children's education, but lasting success requires more than academic achievement. A balanced upbringing nurtures both knowledge and faith, combining outward excellence with inner character.

🤲 Never lose hope. Sincere du'a, wise guidance, and meaningful spiritual experiences can leave a lasting impact at any stage of life.

💬 "Just as you invest in your child's education, invest in their relationship with Allah."
