Rahyafte (The Guided Ones)
We offer our heartfelt condolences on the anniversary of the passing of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, the Mujahid in the way of Allah, the mystic and esteemed scholar, Imam Khomeini (may Allah's mercy be upon him). In honor of the enlightened soul…
❣ For years, no one knew why Ayatollah Golpayegani suddenly fell silent while praying over the body of the Imam. People thought he had forgotten the words and repeated the phrases to him several times, but Ayatollah Golpayegani remained silent until he started reciting from the beginning again! His son had promised Ayatollah Golpayegani to keep the secret as long as his father was alive. After his passing, his son revealed that during the prayer, his late father had suddenly seen the blessed presence of Imam Mahdi (AJ) praying over the body of the Imam. In awe and wonder, Ayatollah Golpayegani was struck speechless until Imam Mahdi (AJ) himself called out to him, "Sayyid Mohammad Reza, continue!"...

🔴 A Heart-Touching Story from a 9-Year-Old Girl’s First Prayer Ceremony
✍️ From the book “Par Parvaz” (The Flight of Wings), p.122
In 1983, our school principal—who truly loved the students and was the only teacher who prayed on time with us—came to our class and said:
💔 I felt sad immediately… because at home, no one cared about such things. We didn’t pray.
The other girls were excited—each one brought her prayer set with her mother. The principal later called me and gently asked why I hadn’t brought mine. I couldn’t hold back my tears and ran out of her office.
The next day, she called me again and said with a smile,
🌸 The day of the ceremony arrived. A kind cleric spoke to us and said:
I went home happy. At Maghrib time, I spread my prayer rug to pray. My mother saw me but didn’t say a word. When my father came home and saw my prayer rug, he became angry and shouted:
💧 I broke into tears and ran to my room. I didn’t eat dinner that night and fell asleep crying.
At dawn, the call to prayer echoed from the nearby Hosseiniyah (prayer hall). I started crying again. Suddenly, I heard my parents calling me. When I opened the door, I saw both of them in tears.
Shocked, I asked: “What happened?”
They hugged me tightly and said:
They described seeing themselves dragged toward the edge of Hell.
😢 That night changed everything. My parents repented. They made up for years of missed prayers and fasts and lived in a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Eventually, both went to Hajj in 1995—and forty days after returning, they passed away peacefully, ending their lives with faith.
🌿 Years later, when I became a teacher, I searched for my principal—the woman who gave me that prayer rug. I finally found her school in Kiar, Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province. But when I arrived, a black banner was hanging on the wall. She had passed away just a week earlier.
💔 May God bless her soul. That prayer rug changed my family’s destiny. Today, as a third-grade teacher myself, I honor her memory every year during my students’ first prayer ceremony—and I feel the blessings of timely prayer throughout my life.
🕊 Your little sister — Please remember me in your prayers.

In 1983, our school principal—who truly loved the students and was the only teacher who prayed on time with us—came to our class and said:
“Next Monday, we will have a ceremony for your first prayers. Bring your prayer items and come with your mothers.”
💔 I felt sad immediately… because at home, no one cared about such things. We didn’t pray.
The other girls were excited—each one brought her prayer set with her mother. The principal later called me and gently asked why I hadn’t brought mine. I couldn’t hold back my tears and ran out of her office.
The next day, she called me again and said with a smile,
“My dear, your mother sent this for you—a prayer cloth, a rug, and some perfume.”
But I knew… my mother hadn’t sent anything.
🌸 The day of the ceremony arrived. A kind cleric spoke to us and said:
“Children, when you go home, perform your first prayer and ask God for whatever you wish. He will surely grant it.”
I went home happy. At Maghrib time, I spread my prayer rug to pray. My mother saw me but didn’t say a word. When my father came home and saw my prayer rug, he became angry and shouted:
“Go do your homework! What nonsense is this?”
“Last night, we both had the same dream...”
They described seeing themselves dragged toward the edge of Hell.
“You didn’t pray; you did no good deeds,” the angels said angrily.
They cried and begged, but nothing helped. Then suddenly, a voice called out:
“Stop! Stop! There was a prayer rug spread in this house last night—for the sake of that rug, do not punish them.”
😢 That night changed everything. My parents repented. They made up for years of missed prayers and fasts and lived in a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Eventually, both went to Hajj in 1995—and forty days after returning, they passed away peacefully, ending their lives with faith.

They had turbah (prayer stones), performed qunut, and said:
I thought:
I remember that they would go to Masjid al-Zahra for Friday prayers. It was completely different from what I had experienced in Germany.
They performed qunut, and I did not understand what they were doing.
I stopped going to Friday prayers with my father.
He became somewhat worried. He had certain thoughts going through his mind. Perhaps he wondered whether his son might be one of those “terrorists.”
He said:
I replied:
🌟 My Brother and the Ahl al-Bayt
The first time I saw a photograph of my brother, I saw a special light in his face.
He looked like the moon—Masha'Allah. 🌕✨
I asked my father:
He told me:
My brother was very spiritual, patient, and devoted to the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them.
Little by little, he introduced me to Shiism and the school of the Ahl al-Bayt.
He taught me Salat al-Layl (the Night Prayer).
The Night Prayer creates a powerful connection between a person and God. While everyone else is asleep, a person stands before Allah and privately speaks with Him.
🤍 “I Am With You”
One night, I was alone in my room. At that time, I felt extremely lonely.
Then I heard a voice in my soul saying:
I felt those words in my heart.
With my entire being, I experienced God's mercy and kindness.
I fell to the ground and began to cry.
I could not stop.
I truly felt God's presence with all my heart and soul. 🤲😭
When Muharram came, I began listening online to lectures about Muharram and learning about the differences between Sunni and Shi'a Islam.
Little by little, my understanding of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) became complete.
🕊️ A journey that began with a search for a father ultimately became a journey toward God.
From Christianity → to Islam → and ultimately to the Ahl al-Bayt.
Sometimes, the search for where we come from leads us to discover where we truly belong. ❤️

“Allahu Akbar!”
I thought:
“Oh no… they're Shi'a. What am I going to do?” 😳

He said:
“You're Sunni. You want to kill all of us.”
I replied:
“No, no. I would love to come to the mosque, but I can't pray the way you do.”
