🌟 "I always knew that God is One."
In a report by Rahyaftegan (a comprehensive platform for missionaries and new Muslims), quoting from Nasr Internet TV, Henry Chelune Junior, a 31-year-old resident of Queens in New York City and a Middle Eastern Studies undergraduate student, shares his journey of embracing Islam in a video.
🌍 Follow @rahyafte_en for more inspiring stories.
Commencing Doubt:
"I was never an atheist or agnostic. I always knew that God is One, and even when I attended church, I held onto this belief. In the Old Testament, it is stated that a son cannot bear the sins of the father, and the father cannot bear the sins of the son. This contradicts the Christian belief that Jesus (peace be upon him) was killed for the forgiveness of the sins of humanity."
Continuing with his reflections, Henry questions the rationality of certain Christian beliefs, such as Jesus (peace be upon him) speaking to himself on the cross and the inconsistency of Jesus being both God and the Son of God.
"I asked a Christian clergyman if Jesus talks to himself. I believed in the virgin birth of Jesus, but if he is considered the best creation of God by Christians, why would God have to kill him for the forgiveness of my sins? Why can't I directly apologize to God? These are not rational thoughts."
The Godhood of Christ:
Henry critically examines the Christian perspective on the divinity of Christ, highlighting the paradoxes and inconsistencies in the belief that Christ, as God, was born, required maternal nourishment, and then died for the sins of humanity, descending to hell for three days before being resurrected.
Strange Stories of Prophets:
Henry explores the narratives surrounding the prophets, questioning the Christian belief in Jesus's crucifixion and descent to hell. He engages with Christian clerics and delves into theological discussions, ultimately finding that his beliefs align more with Islamic teachings.
Seeking the Truth in Islam:
Henry's journey takes a turn when he encounters Muslims from Bangladesh during his college years. They provide him with the Quran, and he spends three to four months comparing it with the Bible. Islam emphasizes the oneness of God, considering Jesus as a prophet and rejecting the notion of his crucifixion for the atonement of sins.
Embracing Islam:
In January 2006, Henry formally embraces Islam at the Islamic Center of Jamaica, declaring the Shahada. He narrates how three others also embraced Islam on the same day.
Questioning Shia Islam:
After accepting Islam, Henry inquires about Shia Islam but is discouraged from exploring it. However, his curiosity leads him to the AhlulBayt Mosque and the Islamic Guidance Center, where he learns about Shia Islam through books and discussions. Eventually, he embraces Shia Islam.
Challenges and Triumphs:
Henry discusses the challenges faced by new Muslims in the United States, emphasizing the need for support in acquiring essential items like prayer mats and hijabs. He calls for collaborative efforts within the Muslim community to address these needs.
Promoting Shia Islam:
Expressing the necessity for promoting Shia Islam, Henry talks about the importance of providing packages for new Muslims that include hijabs, Qurans, and books on Shia beliefs. He stresses the importance of unity among Shia Muslims for the greater good.
Accepted by the Seminary:
In a recent development, Henry Chelune Junior reveals that he has been accepted by the seminary in Qom, Iran. He expresses his intention to pursue studies there and, once accomplished, return to the United States to establish his Islamic center.

This lady converted to Islam about a year ago. In this clip, she shares insightful reflections. She mentions one of the reasons for promoting Islamophobia, which is an economic motive. As every Muslim, due to a regular and systematic life, and observing halal and haram, leads many unhealthy money-making industries to bankruptcy. Therefore, many countries support Islamophobia because of backing these dirty money-making industries.

Rahyafte (The Guided Ones)
🔺 Ibrahim Killington, a new convert to Islam from England Numerous individuals attest that upon finding Islam, it feels akin to returning home. This echoes the very sentiment that resonated within me. Do not fret about what your family might think after…
🔺 Ibrahim Killington, a young man from Norfolk, England, who initially harbored intentions of harming Muslims, ultimately embraced Islam.
As reported by Rahyafte (a comprehensive platform for missionaries and new Muslims), Ibrahim Killington, a British man from Norfolk, became increasingly angered after the September 11th incident. He convinced himself to take actions against Muslims, thinking that eliminating as many as possible would serve his purpose. However, fate had a different plan for him, and his heart softened after reading the Quran.
Now, let's hear his story in his own words.
Before embracing Islam, my life revolved around pleasure, substance abuse, and indulgence. My sole aim was to enjoy life, be happy, and live in a way that would be tolerable until my last breath. I associated with people who shared similar interests, not necessarily the best companions, but those with whom I could relate.
My first encounter with Muslims was during the 9/11 attacks. At that time, being relatively young, I had no complete understanding of the events unfolding. As war news in Afghanistan dominated, I began associating Muslims with heinous violence worldwide. Post-media bombardment, I developed intense hatred towards Muslims.
I made three attempts to join the military with the intention of killing as many people as I could, believing that Muslims posed the greatest threat to the world.
The last time I applied to enlist, I started researching Islam. It was during this time that I stumbled upon a radio network affiliated with the U.S. government, known as "Terror Talk." Surprisingly, they discussed the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It seemed implausible to me that people would follow him despite all the negative things said about him. So, I began questioning Muslim beliefs. Concurrently, I was spiritually exploring Norse mythology and paganism.
Finally, I borrowed the Quran from the university library. Initially fearing that it was a terrorist manual, I anticipated possible surveillance by military intelligence (MI5) as soon as I borrowed it. However, upon reading it, I was deeply moved. The Quran had penetrated my heart, especially as I read about people in the fire with boiling water to drink, feeling as if my own throat was burning. It became evident to me that these were not just stories; they were realities, and I needed to change.
I attended the mosque, spending the entire day reading the Quran. When my mother called in the evening and asked where I had been, I told her I was at the mosque. She, shocked, insisted that I, as a Christian, couldn't be in a mosque, as Christians don't go there.
Initially, my mother was deeply troubled, believing I had taken a wrong path. Her initial reaction, though, evolved over time, and she eventually accepted it. She cried a lot, perhaps thinking that everything she had taught me had been in vain.
Many people say that when they find Islam, it feels like coming home. This is exactly the feeling I had. In the past, I wasn't truly myself; I was controlled by external influences. Since becoming Muslim, only good things have happened to me.
If I were to advise someone considering Islam, I would say, go to the mosque and talk to an imam; never seek answers to your questions online. While there is valuable information on the internet, without prior knowledge of Islam, you can't discern what is right and what is wrong. It's better to converse with an informed person and interact with Muslims. I spent many weeks among them, understanding their character and traits.
Don't be afraid of what your family might think after embracing Islam. Many of us worried about our parents' reactions, but in the end, Islam is for you, and you must hope that the best will happen for your parents afterward. 🌐 @rahyafte_en #IbrahimKillington #ConvertToIslam #JourneyToFaith #EmbracingChange #FamilyAcceptance 🤲

🔸 A Buddhist Woman’s Rebirth at the Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.)
📚 According to Rahyafte (a comprehensive platform for converts and Islamic propagation):
Aurapan Royamial, a former Buddhist woman from Thailand, embraced Islam at the sacred shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.). This transformative event was beautifully documented by Hanieh Zamamdar.
🔴 Aurapan’s Journey to Islam:
"I spent years researching various religions and sects, but I always felt they lacked something. Eventually, I discovered Islam and Shia Islam as the most complete and perfect faith. This realization led me to embrace Islam wholeheartedly.
Every religion I studied contained valuable teachings, but they were often scattered. Shia Islam, however, stood out with its comprehensive and detailed principles. It offers a path for believers to achieve ultimate spirituality and perfection through effort.
Prayer (Salah) holds a profound and unparalleled position in Islam, being the most distinguished form of worship among all."
🌙 “The radiant shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) and the blessed month of Ramadan were the best place and time for my rebirth. I am overjoyed by this decision and aspire to uncover the truths of this faith and reach spiritual perfection on this path.”

🔺 Professor Kamal Igura – The Japanese Scholar Guided by the Quran
📚 According to Rahyafte (a comprehensive platform for converts and Islamic propagation), Professor Kamal Igura, a political science professor in Japan, found guidance through the Quran. This account was documented by Zeinab Pirabbasi, from the research team of the "Martyr Edoardo Agnelli Association."
💡 His Journey to Islam:
"I am currently teaching at Aio University in Japan, located in Tokyo. My name is Kamal Igura Ansuchi, and I serve as a professor of political science at the Chonan Luchi Sawa branch of Aio University.
My journey towards Islam began during my sixth year at the university. I attended a course on Islamic Legislation, where I initially had minimal knowledge about Islam. One day, I came across a booklet on a classroom table, flipped through it, and my eyes fell upon a verse from the Quran:
🔹 ‘All humans are created from clay.’
At that time, I struggled with social relationships. Despite our shared origin, I often wondered why my relationships were so strained. Reflecting on this verse, I realized my arrogance was the root cause. Before encountering this verse, I was so self-centered that I paid no attention to others. Reading it brought profound peace to my heart and transformed my perspective on life, people, and even myself. Alhamdulillah, this was my first connection with the Quran, and I believe it was the greatest gift Allah bestowed upon me."
🌟 "The Quran was my guide, and I believe it is a source of guidance for all humanity. Islam is the best gift Allah Almighty has ever granted me."
🎓 Notably, through his influence and lectures, more than ten of his students at Lobo University in Tokyo embraced Islam, a remarkable achievement in his academic journey.

💎 Edoardo Agnelli: The Heir Who Chose Martyrdom
✨ A Story of Radical Transformation
He was born into one of Europe’s wealthiest dynasties — heir to the FIAT empire, a life of unparalleled luxury, privilege, and worldly power set before him. But his soul yearned for a different light.
Edoardo Agnelli (1954–2000), son of Gianni Agnelli, did not follow the script written for him. Instead of embracing a destiny of corporate boards and high society, he embarked on a profound spiritual journey that led him, astonishingly, to Islam and, ultimately, to the school of Shi’a Islam and devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
---
🔍 The Search for Truth
Disillusioned by the materialism surrounding him, Edoardo plunged into philosophy, religion, and mysticism. His quest was sincere and relentless. He studied:
· Christian mysticism
· Eastern philosophies
· And finally found what he described as the "complete and perfect truth" in Islam, particularly in the teachings of Imam Ali (AS) and the narrative of Imam Hussain (AS).
He reportedly said:
"In Hussain (AS), I found the true meaning of sacrifice and standing against oppression. This is a faith that demands everything, not just words."
---
☪️ A Public Declaration
His conversion was not private. He openly practiced Islam and expressed deep interest in Iran and the Islamic Revolution. He saw in it a spiritual and anti-imperialist struggle that resonated with his own rejection of Western hegemony.
This made him a figure of intrigue and, to some in his circles, a "traitor to his class."
---
⚫️ A Mysterious End
On November 15, 2000, Edoardo Agnelli was found dead at the base of a bridge in Rome. His death was officially ruled a suicide, but circumstances raised deep suspicions:
· He had expressed no depressive tendencies.
· He was a new Muslim, full of engagement.
· As a high-profile convert sympathetic to Iran, he was potentially a target.
Many believers, especially within the Muslim community, regard him not as a suicide, but as a شهید (Martyr) — a man whose search for truth and alignment with the oppressed led to his silencing.
---
💡 The Legacy of a Choice
Edoardo Agnelli’s life asks us a piercing question:
What are we willing to sacrifice for truth?
He gave up:
· A billion-euro inheritance
· Social prestige
· Familial approval
For:
· Spiritual peace
· Allegiance to divine justice
· Solidarity with the oppressed
His story is a powerful testimony that faith can reach hearts in the most unexpected palaces and that the call of Imam Hussain (AS) transcends all borders — even the gilded gates of European aristocracy.
---
🕯 May his soul be elevated among the righteous, and may his courageous choice continue to inspire those who hear the call of truth behind the noise of the world.

🌿 Misloun Kaj: From Venezuela to Islam
🔹 My transformation did not happen overnight; it was a gradual process. It began with developing a deeper understanding of Islam and a stronger sense of belonging to it.
🇻🇪 Misloun Kaj was born in Caracas, Venezuela, into a Lebanese-descended family. As a child, she attended a Catholic school and knew very little about religion. Her family was not particularly religious, and she struggled with many questions about Islam.
❓ Why do women have to wear hijab while men don't?
❓ Why do women stand behind men during prayer?
❓ Why can my brothers do things that I cannot?
These questions remained with her for years.
📚 Her journey toward Islam was gradual.
At university, she became increasingly interested in Islam and began researching the experiences of converts. She visited both Shia and Sunni mosques and encountered a Latin American cleric whose approach to Islam deeply impressed her.
🌍 Her interest in Lebanon also grew, particularly during the 2006 Lebanon War. Seeing the media coverage and the response of Lebanese and Venezuelan communities led her to become politically and socially active.
❤️ She later traveled to Lebanon and spent six months there, wanting to understand the country, its people, and the roots of their dignity, resilience, and attachment to the Prophet's family.
She was particularly touched by:

🧕 Her religious transformation also changed her relationship with her family.
Her mother was unhappy with the changes and questioned why she prayed so much and had become so serious about religious practices.

“My father was happy. He had always wished to have a daughter who wore the hijab.”
“He didn't simply say, ‘You must pray five times a day or you will go to hell.’ Instead, he spoke about spirituality, the meaning of religion in our lives, and what religion adds to our lives.”
🌍 Her interest in Lebanon also grew, particularly during the 2006 Lebanon War. Seeing the media coverage and the response of Lebanese and Venezuelan communities led her to become politically and socially active.

“My father was happy. He had always wished to have a daughter who wore the hijab. He was only somewhat unhappy that I had learned about Islam through the Shia community.”
💭 In the end, Misloun also came to rethink the relationship between religion and politics:
“I used to think that in Venezuela, religion should not become involved in politics. But later I realized that being religious does not necessarily mean that non-Muslims cannot participate, and that a political project does not have to be defined as something exclusively for Muslims.”

They had turbah (prayer stones), performed qunut, and said:
I thought:
I remember that they would go to Masjid al-Zahra for Friday prayers. It was completely different from what I had experienced in Germany.
They performed qunut, and I did not understand what they were doing.
I stopped going to Friday prayers with my father.
He became somewhat worried. He had certain thoughts going through his mind. Perhaps he wondered whether his son might be one of those “terrorists.”
He said:
I replied:
🌟 My Brother and the Ahl al-Bayt
The first time I saw a photograph of my brother, I saw a special light in his face.
He looked like the moon—Masha'Allah. 🌕✨
I asked my father:
He told me:
My brother was very spiritual, patient, and devoted to the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them.
Little by little, he introduced me to Shiism and the school of the Ahl al-Bayt.
He taught me Salat al-Layl (the Night Prayer).
The Night Prayer creates a powerful connection between a person and God. While everyone else is asleep, a person stands before Allah and privately speaks with Him.
🤍 “I Am With You”
One night, I was alone in my room. At that time, I felt extremely lonely.
Then I heard a voice in my soul saying:
I felt those words in my heart.
With my entire being, I experienced God's mercy and kindness.
I fell to the ground and began to cry.
I could not stop.
I truly felt God's presence with all my heart and soul. 🤲😭
When Muharram came, I began listening online to lectures about Muharram and learning about the differences between Sunni and Shi'a Islam.
Little by little, my understanding of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) became complete.
🕊️ A journey that began with a search for a father ultimately became a journey toward God.
From Christianity → to Islam → and ultimately to the Ahl al-Bayt.
Sometimes, the search for where we come from leads us to discover where we truly belong. ❤️

“Allahu Akbar!”
I thought:
“Oh no… they're Shi'a. What am I going to do?” 😳

He said:
“You're Sunni. You want to kill all of us.”
I replied:
“No, no. I would love to come to the mosque, but I can't pray the way you do.”
