🔹 Fasting and night prayers are key elements of spiritual purification and strengthening faith. Islamic traditions emphasize that true followers of Imam Mahdi (aj) are those who are pious, engage in night prayers, and seek closeness to Allah. Imam Sadiq (as) states:

"And We will surely test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives, and fruits; but give glad tidings to the patient."

"This matter (the reappearance) will not come to you except after despair. No, by Allah, until you are tested, and no, by Allah, until you are purified."
(Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, p. 111)

وَ وَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِلتُّقَى وَ صُحْبَةِ الْأَبْرَارِ
(Guide me toward piety and the companionship of the righteous.)

"O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are truthful."

🔹 Imam Ali (AS) said:
"The pious are leaders, the scholars are guides, and sitting with them is an act of worship."
(Amali al-Tusi, p. 225)

✅ Keeping company with righteous individuals and avoiding the corrupt accelerates the process of Imam Mahdi’s (AJ) reappearance.

📖 اللَّهُمَّ وَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِمُوَافَقَةِ الْأَبْرَارِ، وَ جَنِّبْنِي فِيهِ مُرَافَقَةَ الْأَشْرَارِ، وَآوِنِي فِيهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ إِلَى دَارِ الْقَرَارِ، بِإِلَهِيَّتِكَ يَا إِلَهَ الْعَالَمِينَ.

Allahumma waffiqni fihi limuwāfaqatil-abrār, wa jannibni fihi murāfaqatil-ashrār, wa āwini fihi biraḥmatika ilā dāril-qarār, bi-ilāhiyyatika yā ilāhal-‘ālamīn.
