▪️ A notable point regarding Trump’s proposed Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is that he was previously a Republican presidential candidate. A photo surfaced showing Rubio holding the anti-Mahdi novel "The Twelfth Imam" by evangelical writer Joel C. Rosenberg. [1]

▪️ Rosenberg, the author of the book, writes as a media Orientalist affiliated with Christian Zionism, focusing on the dangers of Islamic messianism:

"In recent years, I’ve written two series of novels, not simply for entertainment but to help the American people, members of Congress, and presidential candidates understand Islamic apocalyptic thought and the worst-case scenarios that may arise." [2]

▪️ Trump’s foreign policy—regardless of the Republican Party, which is defined within the evangelical circle—will have an apocalyptic and ideological perspective on Middle Eastern events, due to financial ties to Jews. The “Zionist-Christian” alliance will undoubtedly impact U.S. foreign policy in the Palestinian issue.

▪️ Trump’s Secretary of State introduces apocalyptic Islam as a "civilizational clash" with the West. [3]

▪️ While Trump presents himself as a peace advocate and the end of wars, it’s surprising that he selects ministers from the evangelical circle who have strong pro-war tendencies.
