JAMB has issued a fresh advisory directed at candidates from the 2020–2025 admission sessions who still have an old admission offer sitting untouched on their CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System) profile. According to the notice, any candidate who fails to formally reject or terminate a previous admission risks being blocked from participating in the 2026 admission exercise. In simple terms: that old offer you never acted on isn't harmless — it's now standing between you and a fresh admission this year.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 — 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀

- 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
JAMB has made it clear that an unresolved past admission can lead to a candidate being locked out of the 2026 admission process entirely.

- 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁.
CAPS is designed to prevent a candidate from holding more than one active admission at a time. An old, unterminated offer can flag your profile as "already admitted," even if you never attended that institution.

- 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.
Institutions offering you admission this year may be unable to process it if your CAPS profile shows a conflicting, unresolved record from a previous session.

- 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
Many candidates genuinely forget about old offers from years back, only to discover — too late that it's quietly costing them a spot they've worked hard for in the current cycle.

3. Reject or terminate any old admission you no longer intend to take up — do this directly on the portal, not through a third party.

4. Confirm the update reflects on your profile before proceeding with any 2026 admission application or acceptance.

5. Contact JAMB Help Desk if the option to terminate isn't showing, or if you run into technical issues. WhatsApp us 07052363609

𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲:
if you have an old, unresolved admission offer, don't leave it hanging — clearing it now takes a few minutes, but ignoring it could cost you your chance at 2026 admission.

Kindly Note that previous admission alone does not only disqualifies Candidates but also minor mistakes like Mismatch of Names, errors in DOB,LGA mistakes, Names arrangements loss of email address or phone, NIN issue can also result to disqualification of Admission
