Thank you AFP for a fun night at the Sandy Amphitheatre to celebrate our country! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²
The weather was beautiful!
It was fun to see so many friends there!
So fun to run into Tammy Flake chair of Impact Text Group 62.
I am so jealous of those that got to go to the Great American Fair!
I finally got my Fourth of July decorations up. Why does the Save America Act matter so much? The basic premise of our form of government is that the people have the power. We delegate that power through elections. If the people can't speak through elections our form of government is gone. We can't let that happen.
Please remember to contact Senator Mike Lee and thank him for his leadership with the Save American Act and tell him to keep fighting!

I invite everyone to fast and pray this Sunday, July 5th in gratitude for our freedoms especially freedom of religion and petition the Lord to intervene on behalf of our elections to make them secure.
Remember to wish your state legislators a Happy Fourth of July and 250th Anniversary!
Last night we were at the Eaglewood fireworks! The weather was perfect. Most of Bountiful was there.
This morning we had a neighborhood breakfast. We all sang God Bless America together. It was a perfect way to start the Fourth of July.
What a special day for America! I wonder what the founding fathers would be saying about where we are now. The American experiment continues. I pray it will do so for generations. I always do a big party with my family. We always rent an inflatable.
Nick did a great job at the grill!
TONIGHT
Let's come together for the 250 anniversary to hear a lesser known miracle about the Revolutionary War and big update on our voter rolls.

Talking Point for 7/6 - 7/18! Please send to state legislators.

The Utah Constitution Article VI, Section 28 is titled Special Privileges Forbidden: "The Legislature shall not delegate to any special commission, private corporation or association, any power to make, supervise or interfere with any municipal improvement, money, property or effects, whether held in trust or otherwise, to levy taxes, to select a capitol site, or to perform any municipal functions." This provision is a structural safeguard designed to prevent the Legislature from handing over core governmental powers to unelected or narrowly created bodies. This is precisely what has happened with MIDA.
Utahns' power bill is supposed to go down! That isn't something we normally see.

On Tuesday, the utility filed a stipulated settlement with the Public Service Commission. Rocky Mountain Power claims it will result in a net reduction of customer bills in the short-term, with no new rate hike planed through 2028. It also plans $2 billion in investments in Utah.
