#ThrashMetal #SpeedMetal
40 years ago Megadeth from Los Angeles, #USA, released their debut studio album.
Killing Is My Business is unanimously considered essential for establishing Thrash Metal as a stand-alone subgenre.
The track "Mechanix" was written by leader Dave Mustaine who performed it with Metallica in early 1980s. Controversies arose since Metallica reworked the song, entitled it "The Four Horsemen" and included it in 👉 their debut album.
Further controversies for the cover of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" written by #LeeHazlewood and recorded by #NancySinatra. #Megadeth changed the song words and Hazlewood would persecute them for years.
This legendary album hits hard today in #VeniceRocksRoom🤘
In this album:
#DaveMustaine – vocals, guitar, piano
#DavidEllefson – bass, backing vocals
