🎼16 April 1954. Roberto Freak Antoni, sometimes known as Beppe Starnazza was born somewhere in Bologna.
He was a songwriter, performer, actor, poet and founder and leader of Skiantos, the first band in #Italy back in the 1970s to play rock music (mainly Punk) with extremely funny, obscene and apparently nonsense lyrics.
Antoni baptized his music as Rock Demenziale (sort of Comedy Rock), later many bands embraced this genre in the country and it's still popular today.

Furthermore #Skiantos litterally shaped and popularized the local slang in #Bologna (still today in use among the youth of this wonderful city and not understandable by others), inventing terms and "translating" Italian words in a meaningless English.

#FreakAntoni is no more with us since 2014, I personally met him many times when in Bologna, but I won't use further words to depict him.

🎼16 April 1947. Today Gerry Rafferty would turn 75, born in Paisley, Scotland. He passed away in 2011.
I'm pretty sure few remember him, as I'm pretty sure many remember his 1978 hit Baker Street... probably one of the most iconic tunes ever! 🤟❤️‍🔥
