🎼21 April 1947. Happy Birthday 🥳🍾 to Iggy Pop, born James Newell Osterberg Jr. in Muskegon, Michigan, USA.
A living legend and a true music and image icon who crossed the decades until today, remaining almost unchanged!
With his Stooges he played punk in the late 60s, 10 years before punk was around, he was one of the first to perform stage diving and to appear bare chest, in the 70s he moved to Berlin with long time friend #DavidBowie, marking an era with that fantastic musical liason. In the 80s and 90s Iggy became unanimously considered and praised as the Godfather of Punk. 🤟
In the Chat Room one of my Iggy and the #Stooges favorites👇, as always you can post yours 😃

🎼21 April 1959. Happy Birthday🥳🍾 to Mr. Robert Smith, born in Blackpool, England.
No particular things to add for a guy that can be immediately recognized for his guitar-playing style, his distinctive voice and the huge influence he had on the goth subculture (and related "dress-code") of the 80s.
In the Chat Room👇 I post my favorite #TheCure number, A Forest, in a terrific live version of 1981 which shows more than anything else Mr. Smith's attitude... best attitude ever I would say! 🤟🔝😈
Any Cure fav from your side?

🎸❤️🔥 #21April 1959.
Happy Birthday #RobertSmith!
Here's a photo of him in Venice, September 1983.
He came here to film a videoclip for a successful single that came out in 1984 🤔... he was not with #TheCure at the time, anyone knows which song? Anyone can find the video? 🫵
