🎼28 April 1969. Chicago Transit Authority release their eponymous debut album. The band changed its name in just Chicago soon after and it will become one of the most succesful American bands of the 70s and 80s, having sold more than 100 million records! 😳
But this debut album is indeed different from all Chicago's following ones: it's a double album that contains elements of jazz, funk, progressive rock, hard rock and shows all the band's great skills, which in my opinion were never to be repeated in their following rock/pop releases... and that's a shame if you only think that Chicago #guitarist Terry Kath was the favorite guitar player of... Jimi Hendrix 😳🎸... in the Chat Room you can maybe understand why !
I post in the Chat Room👇 the 2 most famous hits from this album, both became a #Chicago trademark all their career long... and the #TerryKath solo Free from Guitar😱🔥

Hardline Can't Find My Way - 1992 music video (official)
This is the official music video for our song Can't Find My Way, with me, Neal Schon, Joey, Deen Castronovo and Todd Jensen. Filmed at the Paramount Sound Stage in LA. Those were great times!! We never forgot hearing from Brandon Lee and having him put this…
