🎥 4 April 1986. Venice in Movie Series.
La venexiana (internationally released as The Venetian Woman) is released. It's an Italian erotic film directed by Mauro Bolognini, starring Laura Antonelli, Monica Guerritore, Jason Connery, Clelia Rondinella, Claudio Amendola.
The film is a transposition of the anonymous 16th century comedy play La Venexiana: the play was discovered inside the Biblioteca Marciana in Venice in 1920s. In the original play the characters spoke in Venetian, Tuscan and Bergamasque dialects.
