🎼30 October 1939. Happy Birthday 🥳🍾 to Grace Slick, American amazing singer-songwriter and model, born Grace Barnett Wing in Highland Park, Illinois, U.S.
#GraceSlick became referred as The Acid Queen in the late 1960s and her band became a symbol of the #Woodstock generation and the anti Vietnam War: I'm talking about Jefferson Airplane (1965–1973) one of the icons of the so called Psychedelic Rock era.
Few remember that #JeffersonAirplane evolved first in #JeffersonStarship in the 70s and later in #Starship, a much more commercial and pop rock band who had numerous international hits in the 80s.
In the Chat Room👇 more pictures of Grace, a couple with the other (far more unlucky 🤷♂) Queen of the time #JanisJoplin, and some iconic songs in Grace Slick career.
