#GraceSlick became referred as The Acid Queen in the late 1960s and her band became a symbol of the #Woodstock generation and the anti Vietnam War: I'm talking about Jefferson Airplane (1965â1973) one of the icons of the so called Psychedelic Rock era.
Few remember that #JeffersonAirplane evolved first in #JeffersonStarship in the 70s and later in #Starship, a much more commercial and pop rock band who had numerous international hits in the 80s.

He graduated in Economics at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and in Geology at la Sorbonne of #Paris. He participated and directed over 130 expeditions around the world and he made several paleontological discoveries, such as the Ligabueino, a dinosaurđĻ named after him, and unearthed deposits of hominid and dinosaurs fossils in the TÊnÊrÊ desert. He collaborated with Italian legendary anchorman #PieroAngela đđģ to several science documentaries.

The first gold Ducato was coined inside the Palazzo della Zecca in Venice #SanMarco by Doge Giovanni Dandolo (1280-1289).
This was the earliest Venetian currency and the value of 1 Ducato matched the value of 1 Fiorino, the currency of #Florence, at the time the most used in #Italy.
The engravings on the #Ducato represented Saint Mark handing the đ Flag of Venice to Giovanni Dandolo.
Ducato was later renamed as Zecchino after the Palazzo della Zecca, đ the palace you see on the right in this photo.
#Zecchino became for longtime the most used currency in commercial tradings in the Mediterranean area.

Spreading The Disease is the band's first full-length album to feature vocalist Joey Belladonna and bassist Frank Bello, who already appeared in the đ Armed And Dangerous EP earlier that year.
The album includes some tracks still credited to former members Dan Lilker and Neil Turbin and "Medusa" written by manager and producer Jon Zazula.
