πΌ26 April 1940. Happy Birthday π₯³πΎ to Giorgio Moroder, born in Ortisei, South Tyrol, #Italy. π
Maybe his name won't tell much to many, but thanks to this guy from the #Dolomites, we all went to discoππΊfrom the 80s onwards, dancing discomusic, new wave, new romantic, italo, electronic and techno !
#GiorgioMoroder went to live in Munich (Germany) where he became a legend in the use of synthesizers: in early 70s he founded there his Musicland Studios where rock bands and artists such as The Rolling Stones, Electric Light Orchestra, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Queen and Elton John went to record their albums. In 1975 Moroder started writing and producing πhits for #DonnaSummer (see pictureβοΈ), The Queen of #DiscoMusic, thus becoming The Father of Disco Music himself π£π
In the 70s and 80s he also became a multi-award winner ππ₯for his soundtracks and film scores.
In the Chat Roomπsome Giorgio Moroder's legendary music πΆπ§π
