35 years ago, Vicious Rumors from San Francisco, #USA released their 2nd studio album (see my original vinyl copy in #VeniceRocksRoom☝️).
Digital Dictator was highly praised when it came out, unfortunately the period was not the best for #ViciousRumors to be commercially succesful, everything that caught attention from California at the time was Glam Metal from L.A. and Thrash Metal from the Bay Area.
In the years this album became regarded as pure Heavy Metal masterpiece, with powerful massive riffing and amazing singing by their new vocalist Carl Albert, one of the best ever in the genre!
In this album:
#CarlAlbert – vocals
#GeoffThorpe – guitar, backing vocals
#MarkMcGee – guitar, mandolin, backing vocals
#DaveStarr – bass, backing vocals
#LarryHowe – drums, backing vocals
Additional musicians
John Lavaysse, Dino Alden – backing vocals
