In Flames
📀 The Jester Race
#MelodicDeathMetal
30 years ago In Flames from Gothenburg, #Sweden released their 2nd studio album.
The Jester Race is the first #InFlames to feature Anders Fridén as vocalist, Björn Gelotte as drummer, and "Jester Head" as the band's mascot.
Along with 👉 At the Gates' Slaughter of the Soul and 👉 Dark Tranquillity's The Gallery, this album is unanimously considered as the blueprint of the so called Gothenburg sound and of Melodic Death Metal in general... and my favorite of these three🤘
In this album:
#AndersFriden − vocals
#JesperStrömblad − guitars, keyboards
#GlennLjungström − guitar
#JohanLarsson − bass, backing vocals
#BjörnGelotte − drums, additional guitars
Additional musicians
#OscarDronjak − vocals
#FredrikJohansson − guitar
#FredrikNordström, #KasparDahlqvist − keyboards
