🎼11 March 1983. Quiet Riot release their 3rd album Metal Health ! 😈 At first sight this event doesn't mean much, but Metal Health is the album that brings Heavy⚡️Metal music genre (of course my favorite 😉🤟🎸) out of its niche and to general attention. The first single extracted from this album "Cum On Feel the Noize" (a 1973 #Slade cover) goes straight to n.5 in US charts, and the whole album will be the first heavy metal ever to reach the top on the Billboard 200 that year! The only member of that band still alive is bassist #RudySarzo (I use to hang around with a guy who personally knows him very well), all other members have left this world, #drummer #FrankieBanali only few months ago 😢🤷‍♂️
I chose the title track Metal Health (Bang Your Head), an iconic one for all time metalheads !!! This song had big success again in 2008, as part of the Soundtrack of multi award-winning film The Wrestler with Mikey Rourke. In the Chat Room👇 I post the trailer and the Leone d'Oro win at #VeniceFilmFestival ! 🏆🤟
