🚨 Trezor Data Breach Expands: 67,000 More Customers Exposed

Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor has revealed that a data breach at its logistics provider, ShipMonk, is far larger than previously reported. An additional 67,000 U.S. customers had their personal information exposed, bringing the total affected to approximately 80,689.

The exposed data includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical shipping addresses for orders placed between November 2019 and August 2021. This leak occurred because ShipMonk retained records despite providing written assurances to Trezor that the data had been deleted.

🚨 Revolut Customer Data Exposed in Fake Government Email Scam

Revolut has confirmed a data breach where sensitive customer information, including passports, verification selfies, and full transaction histories, was leaked to a fraudster. The incident occurred after the company received a fraudulent request that appeared to be from a legitimate government agency.

The attacker utilized a government agency email domain that successfully passed Revolut’s internal authentication checks. The company only realized the request was non-authentic after the data had been shared. Impacted individuals were notified on Friday.

Crypto investigator ZachXBT reported that the breach appears limited in size and specifically targeted at high-net-worth users. Revolut stated that its core systems and customer funds remain unaffected and secure.

🚨 Coinbase Vendor Breach Exposes Customer Contact Data

Major crypto exchange Coinbase confirmed that a security incident at its analytics vendor, Amplitude, has exposed the contact information of a small group of users. The exchange clarified that its internal systems remain secure and were not breached during this event.

The exposure reportedly affected a "small subset" of Coinbase customers alongside other clients of Amplitude. Coinbase Support stated on X that customer funds are completely safe and unaffected by the data leak.

This incident follows reports of other cyberattacks in the industry, including investigations into a potential breach at South Korean exchange Bithumb. Coinbase has not yet disclosed the exact number of users impacted by this specific vendor leak.
