📢 Exciting News! 📚 Our latest research paper in Nanomaterials has just been published! 🧪🔬
We delve into the fascinating world of 2H MoTe2 (molybdenum ditelluride) and its incredible potential. This material has garnered immense interest for its applications in superconductivity, nonvolatile memory, and semiconductors. It boasts a wide range of electrical properties that make it a true game-changer.
But what's even more intriguing is our exploration of MoTe2 in combination with hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) within lateral heterostructures. This pairing offers a unique platform for crafting groundbreaking electronic devices.
In our study, we've successfully created highly conductive interfaces in crystalline ionic liquid-gated (ILG) field-effect transistors (FETs) featuring MoTe2/h-BN heterojunctions. 🌟
Our findings reveal an efficient carrier modulation with ILG FETs, showcasing double the performance compared to standard back gating. We've achieved remarkable unipolar p-type behavior and significantly boosted mobility in MoTe2/h-BN heterochannels, setting new mobility records. At 80 K, we observed hole and electron mobility values ranging from 345 cm² V⁻¹ s⁻¹ to 285 cm² V⁻¹ s⁻¹.
But what sets our study apart is the drastic reduction of Schottky barriers, which allowed us to unlock the intrinsic, heterointerface conduction in the channels. This presents exciting opportunities for developing phase change devices using atomically thin membranes.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our brilliant team, including Saidov Kamoliddin, Odilkhuja Parpiev, and Olim Ruzimuradov and our collaborators at EMPA Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology: Gurdial Blugan, Sena Yuzbasi, and Natalia Kovalska. https://www.mdpi.com/2079-4991/13/18/2559

🎉 Navbatdagi ilmiy maqola! 🌟
PhD talabam Akbar Qodirovning ilmiy ishi Computational and Theoretical Chemistry ( IF-2.8 ) jurnalida chop etildi! 🧪📄
🔹 Tadqiqotda imidazoliy asosidagi ion suyuqliklar ([BMIM][SCN] va [BMIM][DCA]) tarkibida CO₂, H₂S va CH₄ gazlarining o‘zaro ta’siri molekulyar dinamika simulyatsiyalari yordamida chuqur o‘rganildi.
🔹 Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, CO₂ va H₂S ion suyuqlik yuzasida to‘planishga moyil bo‘lib, ayniqsa [BMIM][DCA] muhitida anion-gaz o‘zaro ta’siri kuchliroq ekanligi aniqlandi.
🔹 CH₄ esa zaif bog‘lanishlar hosil qilgani uchun suyuqlik tarkibiga kamroq kiradi va past eruvchanlikka ega.
🔹 Shuningdek, harorat omili gazlarning harakatchanligiga sezilarli darajada ta’sir qiladi.
🌍 Ushbu tadqiqot atmosferadagi xavfli gazlarni tutib qolish va global isish oqibatlarini kamaytirish uchun katta ahamiyatga ega. Ion suyuqliklar kelajakda bu gazlarni ushlab qolish va past bosim sharoitida xavfsiz saqlash uchun istiqbolli yechim bo‘lishi mumkin.
🙏 Shuningdek, ushbu tadqiqotga qo‘shgan qimmatli hissasi uchun Malayziyadagi Sunway universiteti professori Mohamed Kheireddine Arouaga ham samimiy minnatdorchilik bildiramiz!

Ilmiy hamkorlikning yangi bosqichi: Mikrobiologiya va Plazma fizik-kimyosi uyg‘unligi 🔬⚡️
Genetika va o‘simliklar eksperimental biologiyasi instituti professori Baxtiyor Abdug'afur bilan hamkorlikda yangi va istiqbolli tadqiqotlarimizni boshladik. 🤝
Ushbu izlanishlar doirasida Baxtiyor aka tomonidan taqdim etilgan Azotobacter shtammlarini past haroratli (sovuq) atmosferik plazma yordamida turli vaqt oralig‘ida ishlov bermoqdamiz. 🧬✨
Biz avvalgi qishloq xo‘jaligi loyihalarimizda plazma bilan ishlov berish urug‘larning potensialini har tomonlama oshirganiga va hosildorlikda ijobiy natijalar berganiga guvoh bo‘lgan edik. 📈🌱 Endigi navbat — mikroorganizmlarga! 🦠
Asosiy ilmiy savolimiz: "Plazma bilan berilgan yengil stress bakteriyalarning tabiatiga qanday ta’sir ko‘rsatadi? Balki bu ularning samaradorligini yanada oshirar?" 🤔
Nasib bo‘lsa, ushbu tadqiqotlar orqali fundamental savollarga birgalikda javob topamiz 🔬

[Uz]💧 To‘qimachilik sanoatida suv muammosiga innovatsion yechim: Sovuq atmosferik plazma
Bugungi kunda global iqlim o‘zgarishi va suv tanqisligi sharoitida oqava suvlarni qayta ishlash va ulardan takroran foydalanish insoniyat oldidagi eng dolzarb vazifalardan biridir. Ayniqsa, to‘qimachilik sanoatidan chiqadigan, turli kimyoviy bo‘yoqlar va zaharli birikmalarga boy bo‘lgan chiqindi suvlarni tozalash alohida yondashuvni talab etadi.
Institutimizning PhD doktoranti, shogirdim Namuna Nabiyeva ayni shu yo‘nalishda — sovuq atmosferik plazma yordamida tekstil chiqindi suvlarini tozalash bo‘yicha muhim ilmiy tadqiqotlarni olib bormoqda.
Nega aynan sovuq plazma?
✅ Ekologik toza: Kimyoviy reagentlardan foydalanish talab etilmaydi.
✅ Yuqori samaradorlik: Plazma suvdagi murakkab organik bo‘yoqlarni molekulyar darajada parchalaydi.
✅ Suv tejamkorligi: Tozalangan suvdan sanoatda qayta foydalanish imkoniyati paydo bo‘ladi, bu esa ichimlik suvi resurslarini asrab qolishga yordam beradi.
Ilm-fan nafaqat laboratoriyalarda, balki real hayotdagi global muammolarni hal qilishda ham asosiy poydevor bo‘lib xizmat qilmoqda. PhD talabamizning ushbu tadqiqotlari kelajakda "yashil" ishlab chiqarish va barqaror suv xo‘jaligini rivojlantirishga ulkan hissa qo‘shishiga ishonamiz.
[En] 💧 Innovative Solutions for the Textile Industry: Cold Atmospheric Plasma for Wastewater Treatment
In the face of global climate change and increasing water scarcity, the treatment and reuse of wastewater is one of the most critical challenges facing humanity today. Wastewater from the textile industry, often saturated with complex chemical dyes and toxic compounds, requires advanced and sustainable treatment methods.
My PhD student, Namuna Nabiyeva, is conducting vital research in this field, focusing on the use of Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) to decontaminate textile wastewater.
Why Cold Plasma?
✅ Eco-friendly: No hazardous chemical reagents are required for the process.
✅ High Efficiency: Plasma active species break down complex organic dyes at the molecular level.
✅ Water Conservation: Treated water can be recycled back into industrial processes, significantly reducing the strain on fresh water resources.
Science is not just about laboratory work; it is about solving real-world global challenges. We believe that our PhD student's research will make a substantial contribution to the development of "green" manufacturing and sustainable water management systems.

[Uz] Xalqaro hamkorlik — yangi loyihalar sari!
Xi’an shahridagi konferensiyada ishtirokim davomida Prof. Dingxin Liu bilan birgalikda “Bir qamar, bir yo‘l” dasturi doirasida qo‘shma laboratoriyamizni rivojlantirish va moliyalashtirishga qaratilgan loyiha hujjatlarini topshirdik.
Shuningdek, Shaanxi provinsiyasi ilmiy loyihalar tanloviga Prof. Liu jamoasidagi Prof. Jishen Zhang bilan hamkorlikda yana bir loyiha taqdim etdik. Prof. Zhang bilan “Plazma yordamida surunkali yaralarni davolash” yo‘nalishida birgalikda tadqiqot olib borishni rejalashtiryapmiz.
Hamkorligimiz izchil rivojlanib bormoqda. Yangi qo‘shma loyihalar, tajribalar va ilmiy natijalar uchun katta imkoniyatlar bor. Nasib qilsa, bu hamkorlikdan yaxshi natijalar chiqishiga ishonaman!
[En] International collaboration — moving toward new joint projects!
During my participation in the conference in Xi’an, Prof. Dingxin Liu and I submitted a proposal aimed at obtaining support for the development of our joint laboratory within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
We also submitted another research application to a Shaanxi Province funding call in collaboration with Prof. Jishen Zhang, a member of Prof. Liu’s research team. Prof. Zhang and I plan to work together on plasma-assisted treatment of chronic wounds, combining our expertise to advance this promising direction.
Our collaboration is developing very well, and I am pleased to see new joint projects taking shape. I look forward to further experiments, publications, and meaningful scientific outcomes from this partnership.
