💥Joe Biden wins the US election!
According to several major television networks, Biden won 273 electoral votes, enough to claim the presidency. AP counts Arizona in and gives an even higher number: 284.
Biden will be the oldest person to assume the office at age 78. There’s little chance, however, that Donald Trump admits his defeat, so we can expect the continuation of the election drama in the upcoming weeks. EUR/USD may shoot up to 1.1950/1.20 on Monday, but after that there will be a big risk of a sharp movement to the downside.
❓What is your opinion about all this? Do you welcome this news or are you disappointed?

💥USD jumps during the Fed’s press conference
Here’s what the Fed’s Chair Powell said:
🔸Indicators of activity and employment continue to improve
🔸Household spending is rising at a rapid pace
🔸Business investment is increasing at a solid pace
🔸If we look 1-2 years out, we'll be looking at "a very, very strong employment market"
🔸Inflation has increased 'notably' and to remain elevated
🔸Seeing upward price pressures from rebound in spending
🔸There's a possibility that inflation pressures could be persistent
🔸If we saw signs that the path of inflation was moving persistently above goal, we would be prepared to adjust the stance of monetary policy
The fact that the Federal Reserve admitted rising inflation means closer tapering and higher USD.

😱Facebook entities WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook weren’t accessible to users Monday morning, with users receiving error messages when trying to access the sites. The company’s whistleblower Frances Haugen is set to testify before Congress on Tuesday and has detailed vast problems with the social media giant.
