GrantiX is a platform dedicated to making fundraising and supporting social initiatives as convenient, secure, and transparent as possible. Donations here can be made both in fiat currency and via blockchain — currently, one network is supported, but more blockchains are planned to be added in the future to give donors greater choice and flexibility. This will help expand the geography of donations, lower fees, and increase the speed of receiving funds.

At the moment, Arbitrum is one of the most popular Layer 2 solutions built on Ethereum.

GrantiX continues to expand the list of supported networks. In the future, the platform plans to integrate:

🔹 Ethereum L1 — the main blockchain with high decentralization and reliability, but higher fees.
🔹 Polygon (L2) — a popular solution with low transaction costs and a wide dApp ecosystem.
🔹 Optimism (L2) — a fast network with low fees, focused on Ethereum scalability.
🔹 BNB Chain (L1) — a blockchain with high throughput and affordable transactions.

💡 The difference between them for donations lies in the balance of fees, speed, and decentralization level.

🔹 L1 networks, like Ethereum, offer maximum reliability but can be more expensive.

In Uganda, Thrive Together Initiative is helping women and people with disabilities gain practical skills in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and business development.

This is not an abstract initiative. Thrive Together is a registered community-based organization working in Mukono District. According to the organization, its entrepreneurship and business-skills programs have already reached 248 people, including women, youth and people with disabilities.

Now its GrantiX fundraising campaign is within a few dollars of completion.

SUNKELA: FLEXIBLE WORK BUILT AROUND CARE RESPONSIBILITIES

For parents caring for children with disabilities, conventional full-time employment may not be practical.
Sunkela is a social mushroom project in Armenia designed around that reality.
The project combines flexible employment in oyster mushroom production with practical cultivation training.

Its model is intended to help parents:
— earn an income while maintaining essential care responsibilities;
— learn how oyster mushrooms are produced;
— develop skills that may support independent work;
— participate through a schedule adapted to their circumstances.

The campaign also plans to obtain equipment for producing mushroom-growing bags independently.

This could allow the project to expand its production model, create additional flexible jobs and provide selected trainees with mushroom bags they can cultivate themselves. The harvested mushrooms could then be purchased back for use in Sunkela’s production.

This is more than a request for equipment. It is a model connecting care responsibilities, practical skills, flexible employment and a possible path toward small-scale entrepreneurship.

The next Ethereum builder could be sitting in a classroom in Davao.

New on GrantiX: the Davao Blockchain Builder Discovery Pilot, led by Davao DeFi Community.

On 13 October 2026, the team aims to engage 100+ IT and Computer Science students at Jose Maria College Foundation in a four-hour session exploring blockchain, Ethereum, smart contracts, developer pathways and technology that addresses community needs.

The session is the starting point. Interested students will be invited to join a continuing builder pathway and complete a readiness assessment covering their skills, experience and interests.

The pilot’s targets include:
• 30+ students opting into the builder pathway
• 15+ completed readiness assessments
• 10–15 potential candidates identified for further technical assessment and training

These targets will help the team evaluate whether a deeper, hands-on technical programme should follow.

The fundraising goal is $600 for Phase 1: Discovery & Onboarding. Funds will support technical speakers, learning materials, local transport and logistics, food and participant support, documentation and reporting.

For the Web3 community, this is an opportunity to support local talent at the beginning of their journey into building.
