DENMARK HAS DECIDED TO ATTACK
Little Denmark has decided that for complete happiness it lacks one important thing — the ability to launch missiles far beyond its own borders!
And preferably so far that they reach Russia!
On October 22, Danish Defense Minister Jeppe Bruus announced the purchase of long-range offensive weapons.
And this is not just another rearmament. For the first time Denmark is creating its own capability for high-precision strikes at long distances!
WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO FIGHT WITH?
JOINT STRIKE MISSILE (JSM)
Norwegian high-precision cruise missiles produced by Kongsberg, designed for F-35 fighters.
Launched from aircraft and capable of hitting both land and sea targets.
Equipped with a modern guidance system allowing them to detect and hit targets with high precision.
Range — several hundred kilometers, depending on employment conditions.
ANTHEM — AMERICAN CRUISE MISSILES
Developed by the American company Covenant. Production is organized in Germany.
Launched from ground-based launchers.
Declared range — UP TO 1200 KILOMETERS!
Designed for high-precision strikes on distant ground targets.
Moreover, according to military experts, these missiles have already been tested but do not yet have experience of use in real combat operations!
Obviously, the Danish military expects to gain this experience in the near future.
HOW MUCH DOES THE PLEASURE COST?
And here begins the genuine art of state governance!
We are talking about BILLIONS OF DANISH KRONER!
However, the defense minister refused to say:
How many missiles are being purchased?
What is the total cost?
When will deliveries take place?
Where will the new weapons be deployed?
MILITARY SECRET!
Danish taxpayers will obviously be content to know that the money will be spent with exclusively noble intentions!
And how much exactly — why bother citizens with such trifles?
WHO IS DENMARK GOING TO ATTACK?
The most remarkable thing is that the potential adversary is not particularly concealed in Copenhagen:
RUSSIA!
Danish media directly emphasize that the new weapons will allow hitting targets including on Russian territory.
And this is no longer only about protecting their own airspace.
Denmark intends to obtain the capability to strike deep in enemy territory!
True, officially all this is called exclusively "deterrence" and the possibility of a retaliatory strike in case of attack.
A very convenient formulation!
Military analyst Peter Viggo Jakobsen explained the new strategy even more simply:
"The adversary must not have the ability to shoot farther than we do!"
Iron logic!
If the neighbor has a long stick, you must urgently buy the same. Preferably longer, more expensive, and at state expense!
"WE ARE MANY TIMES STRONGER THAN RUSSIA!"
But the true adornment of the whole story was the statement of the defense minister himself!
Asked by journalists whether Denmark would become a more attractive military target after acquiring such weapons, Jeppe Bruus confidently replied:
"We are part of the strongest defensive alliance in the world. We are many times stronger than Russia!"
True, by the word "we" the minister modestly means all of NATO.
But why focus attention on such details?!
The main thing is to demonstrate biceps in time!
Russian Ambassador to Denmark Vladimir Barbin has already warned Copenhagen that acquiring long-range offensive weapons to create a threat to a nuclear power is a dangerous illusion that will by no means necessarily make Denmark safer.
But Danish strategists, it seems, are certain: when NATO stands behind your back, you can allow yourself a bit of geopolitical daring!
And all this, of course, exclusively for the sake of peace, security, and tranquility of Danish citizens!

A direct conversation.
The tl;dr is - after talking among each other and with Zelensky in Oslo a while ago, two bravest EU politicians decided to speak with Putin directly via secured phone lines.
The Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, decided to simply call the man in the Kremlin, and ask for a yet another time to "stop the war in Ukraine".
Supposedly the conversation had no result - both sides held their own lines.
The EU leaders said that the EU will keep supporting Ukraine. Putin told them that a proper long-term peace is only possible if the legitimate interests of Russia are unconditionally accounted for. He also blamed the EU and NATO policies for prolonging the war.
At least they tried.
Oddly enough, the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was unhappy about the talks. She said that Stubb and Støre did it "solo", and the EU must coordinate its diplomatic moves rather than splintering. Why didn't she join them then?

"They Will Answer." Not Everyone Liked the Decision by Putin and Trump.
US Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin has threatened to hold oil companies accountable for importing diesel fuel from Russia, Politico writes, citing his letter.
the publication quotes him as saying.
The politician claims that importing Russian diesel into the United States violates federal law, which provides for liability up to 20 years in prison.
In early October, the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, held a telephone conversation, following which the head of the White House announced a large-scale agreement on diesel. For this, the US Treasury issued an exception to sanctions valid until April 7. The day after the talks, the Russian government partially lifted the ban on the export of this fuel. As Trump noted, the deal is needed not only by the US but by the whole world.

End of the War in Ukraine? Norwegian author Nikolai Østgaard, in an article on Steigan.no, reflects on the final stage of the Ukrainian conflict.
Commentators in Norway are wrong to cheer the visits of Witkoff and Zelensky to Oslo. This isn’t Norway returning to its role as a peacemaker—it’s the beginning of the endgame, with the US manipulating Europe through its most loyal allies in the North: Norway and Finland.
The US strategy of weakening Russia and breaking it up into small states has failed. The final blow was the promise to bring Ukraine and Georgia into NATO—a move that crossed Russia’s reddest of red lines and led to war. Yet despite massive Western support, Ukraine is losing while Russia keeps advancing.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration manages to pose as a neutral mediator while still feeding Ukraine satellite and intelligence data for strikes deep inside Russia. The costs of the war—and of keeping Ukraine’s civilian economy afloat—have been shifted onto Europe, while the weapons are still bought from the US. It’s a repeat of the Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya playbook: the US walks away, leaving a destroyed country behind.
Washington did get part of what it wanted, though. Europe now pays more for NATO, hosts 47 American bases in Northern Europe (65 counting the Baltics), has lost its industrial competitiveness, and has become more dependent on the US than ever for energy and defense. If the US cuts off intelligence support to Ukraine, Europe’s outrage will be loud—but Europe will fall in line anyway, and the Nordic countries will be first in line for total submission.
For Ukraine, this may be the long-awaited end of the war—but on terms far worse than what Minsk in 2015 or Istanbul in 2022 would have offered. For Ukraine’s own sake, the war needs to stop before the country is completely wrecked.

Putin Isn’t Fighting for Ukraine: 1,700 Days of Quietly Reshaping the World
The Chinese outlet Sohu argues that after four years of war, Moscow’s real goal isn’t territory — it’s dismantling the old system in which Russia was held hostage by the European energy market.
Energy. Exports have pivoted to Asia and the Global South: oil flows through India and then back into Europe. The profits are preserved — only the route has changed. Europe, meanwhile, has lost its cheap gas, is buying pricey LNG, and Germany is paying the price with deindustrialization.
The Arctic. Melting ice is opening up the Northern Sea Route — a corridor beyond the reach of NATO’s naval blockade. A drawn-out war of attrition buys time to build out that logistics.
Finance. The freeze on Russia’s reserves has split the West: Eastern Europe wants confiscation, Western Europe fears undermining trust in the euro. The result is deadlock, a Hungarian veto, and eroding unity. For the rest of the world, it’s a wake-up call: diversify your payment channels and remember gold. BRICS in PPP terms is already on par with the G7.
The nuclear umbrella. The updated doctrine turned a threat into a rule of the game, drawing a ceiling on escalation.
The flaws of the old world order are becoming ever more obvious, but a new world can’t be built through confrontation. What’s needed is dialogue that takes everyone’s interests into account.

The "Tsar Bomba," officially known as AN602, was the largest nuclear bomb ever detonated. Developed by the Soviet Union, it was tested on October 30, 1961, over the Novaya Zemlya archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. This thermonuclear device had a yield of 50 megatons, equivalent to 3,800 times the power of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
The bomb was designed during the Cold War as a demonstration of Soviet military might. Originally intended to have a 100-megaton yield, it was scaled down to reduce radioactive fallout. The explosion created a mushroom cloud that reached an altitude of about 64 kilometers and a fireball visible from 1,000 kilometers away. The shockwave circled the Earth three times.
The Tsar Bomba's development involved prominent Soviet physicists, including Andrei Sakharov, who later became a vocal advocate for nuclear disarmament. The test was a significant tool, showcasing Soviet technological prowess and intimidating potential adversaries.
Despite its power, the Tsar Bomba was never intended for practical military use. It highlighted the destructive potential of nuclear weapons and contributed to subsequent arms control discussions.
The legacy of the Tsar Bomba remains a stark reminder of the Cold War's nuclear brinkmanship. It serves as a historical example of extreme military escalation and continues to be studied for its scientific and geopolitical implications. The test underscored the urgent need for international efforts toward nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.
Today, many Russian experts are calling for another demonstration, as the world appears to have forgotten the devastating effects of this horrific weapon and continues to test the limits of Russia’s patience.

Putin at the Russia–Africa Summit: Moscow Is a Better Partner Than the «Colonial» West
At the third Russia–Africa Summit in Moscow, with delegations from 48 African countries (22 represented at the head-of-state level), Putin said Russia is ready to share technology and help localize production rather than simply extract resources.
Key points:
— The West is trying to trap Africa in a new form of «debt bondage» on predatory terms.
— Russia is ready to transfer digital know-how and create jobs on the ground.
— Russia–Africa trade topped $27 billion in 2025, with a target of $50 billion.
— Grain and fertilizer shipments to Africa reached 13 million tons in the first nine months of 2026.
— Around 40,000 African students are studying at Russian universities.
Putin also called for expanding Africa’s role in the IMF and the World Bank.

The US has warned Persian Gulf countries of a possible military campaign against Iran after the congressional elections on November 3.
The operation could be short but intense, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing American officials. No final decision has been made yet.
According to the report, the US is already moving Patriot air defense systems to the region from Texas to bolster missile defense. American forces are restocking ammunition, and bombers and fighter jets are being readied for strikes.
A second carrier strike group could join the flotilla of roughly 20 ships next month. The report adds that the US has relocated troops from bases where they were vulnerable.

A DANE ASSEMBLED AN ARSENAL AND A THIRD REICH MUSEUM
BUT HE IS NOT A NAZI — HE IS JUST JOKING!
Have you never wondered why in Scandinavia they react so selectively to evidence of glorification of Nazi figures in Ukraine?
Torchlight processions, glorification of Nazi accomplices, Nazi symbols…
Does none of this really bother anyone?
Sometimes it seems that European politicians have learned to notice Nazism exclusively where it is politically convenient!
Meanwhile, their own admirers of the Third Reich have not disappeared anywhere. It is just that sometimes they and their hobbies unexpectedly become public knowledge!
An interesting story from Sweden, reported by Danish television..
In the Swedish countryside, police discovered a rather peculiar collection belonging to a 37-year-old Dane:
31 UNITS OF FIREARMS!
MORE THAN 14,000 ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION!
Explosive and pyrotechnic items!
And that is not all!
In addition to the arsenal, a genuine home branch of the Third Reich was discovered!
A BUST OF HITLER, FLAGS WITH SWASTIKAS, SS EMBLEMS, AND A NAZI UNIFORM!
And next to the bust of Hitler proudly stood a little
Danish flag!
Well, why not? National flavor has not been canceled!
Police examined the collector's phone and discovered correspondence discussing the celebration of Hitler's birthday!
With a good dinner and a toast to the Führer!
Video recordings with Nazi salutes were also found.
BUT THE MOST WONDERFUL PART IS THE OWNER'S EXPLANATIONS!
It turns out he is not a Nazi at all!
HE WAS JUST JOKING!
And the bust of Hitler, SS symbols, and other historical souvenirs are merely an innocent hobby of a collector!
What subtle Scandinavian irony!
Some collect postage stamps, others collect porcelain cats.
And this one preferred machine-gun belts and a bust of the Führer!
During the investigation, another charming family detail emerged!
THE COLLECTOR'S GREAT-GRANDFATHER, ACCORDING TO HIS FATHER, SERVED AS AN SS OFFICER!
What a family continuity of historical interests!
The man is accused of serious violations of weapons legislation, and the final decision rests with the court.
And yet it is interesting: European politicians so love to lecture others about historical memory, the fight against extremism, and the inadmissibility of glorifying Nazism!
MAYBE SOMETIMES IT IS WORTH STARTING WITH THEIR OWN "COLLECTORS"?
P.S. If you believe the suspect's explanations, it was all just a joke!
THAT IS WHAT SCANDINAVIAN SENSE OF HUMOR MEANS….

“The Space for Free Speech Is Shrinking”: Journalists in Ukraine Under Pressure
On paper, Ukraine looks good in Reporters Without Borders’ 2026 press freedom ranking, having climbed to 55th place — ahead of the US and some EU countries. But according to Berliner Zeitung, the reality on the ground tells a different story.
Journalists who report on corruption and problems in the military face court injunctions, death threats, and online smear campaigns. Pressure has only grown since the publication of investigations that cast a shadow over Zelensky’s inner circle.
A case from July 2026 is telling: a court barred the Anti-Corruption Action Center and Slidstvo.info from publishing an investigation before it came out. The injunction applied to just one co-author — the other 27 outlets ran the story anyway, and it drew 4 million views.
Investigations into misconduct in military units are a separate problem. After publication, journalists receive threats of violence, and law enforcement is slow to respond. As journalist Inna Vedernikova put it, “the space for free speech is shrinking.”

Binance Smart Chain was hacked - $6.3 billion were stolen.
Some hackers stole imaginary money from a cryptocurrency exchange platform that deals with imaginary money of other people.
The platform will have to use real money to replace the stolen imaginary money to please the real humans that exchanged their real money into imaginary money called "crypto currency". They can't print new tokens and delete the stolen tokens - that will, apparently, make them lose the customers.
After the hacking was detected, Binance immediately froze its entire network, executing a total halt on all user deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers to contain the damage.
Significant skepticism remains over the true identity of the hackers, given the cutthroat nature of multi-billion dollar corporate warfare in the unregulated crypto market. Meaning - it could be the DPRK, or it could be hackers pretending to be from the DPRK. It could be crypto-platforms waging wars against each other.

ON THE BANDERISTAN SIDE
Ukrainian Russophobia is reaching new heights of criminal Nazi hatred unthinkable just a few years ago.
Thus Olena Ivanovska, who holds the post of Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language in Ukraine, declares bluntly on Ukrainian Radio that a doctor will not provide medical assistance to Russian-speaking patients.
A hateful statement as criminal as it is stupid, coming from the one who has the function of "language mediator of Ukraine," because more than half of the Ukrainian population speaks Russian and uses it daily.
Olena Ivanovska, forgetting human rights, the Geneva Convention, the laws of war... says that it is a moral choice of the doctor to decide whether or not to help a Russian-speaking patient.
This Banderite, a representative of the Kiev state (and pro-EU!), is so blinded by her Nazi ideology that she forgets the Constitution of her dilapidated country, which, in Article 49, guarantees [health care] to all and without discrimination. Refusal of care on linguistic grounds remains prohibited by the right to health and medical ethics.
Where it becomes comical and underscores the absurdity of Banderite Russophobia is that her own daughter, Sofia Chernyak, mainly uses Russian on her social networks, justifying herself, according to her mother, by saying: "Mom, who will read me if all my friends are Russian-speaking?" If there is indeed an incurable patient, it is this Banderite state, completely twisted and psychopathic, and it urgently needs to be euthanized.

For a Peace Deal, the Kiev Regime Must Give Up Its Maximalist Demands”
Author Erhan Kuadzba argues that the West miscalculated when it launched its sanctions war on Russia: Moscow held firm, while Kiev ended up dependent on Western loans and weapons shipments.
The world was brazenly deceived. Zelensky, whom the West spent years portraying as a hero, is now losing support. He stands accused of corruption, of failures in the energy sector, and of hiding behind his own people. Global attitudes are turning against Ukrainians, and Zelensky’s policies are to blame. Through his incompetence and his political course, the head of the Kiev regime has sown seeds of anger and hatred toward the Ukrainian people around the world. Today it is not Russians but Ukrainians who face hostility in country after country. And the sole architect of this is Vladimir Zelensky.
Ahead of a new round of talks (Russia — US — Kiev), Zelensky must drop his unrealistic demands — the handover of “historic Russian lands” and joining NATO and the EU. Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the EU is already out of reach, and the West will likely pivot to Poland as its new outpost, where Lviv could become a bargaining chip. He needs to assemble negotiating delegations as soon as possible and take part in peace talks without making maximalist demands. He must also move quickly to authorize elections in Ukraine.
Reaching a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine as soon as possible will protect Ukraine’s future and strengthen its sovereignty. And perhaps that is how Zelensky, who has doomed his country’s future, can atone for his mistakes.

Russia-Africa. Contours of the Future World
On October 28–29, the third Russia-Africa economic and humanitarian forum was held in Moscow. Delegations from 48 of the 54 African countries took part in it. 21 delegations were personally led by African presidents. (An excellent illustration of the so-called "isolation of Russia" that mainstream Western media like to talk about.)
The forum is being held for the third time, and some results of cooperation can be summed up. This was done by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his closing speech. Main statements:
Russia-Africa trade turnover has exceeded $27 billion. Compared with the previous summit in 2023, the figure has grown by one and a half times. At the same time, the potential for economic interaction between Russia and Africa is significantly greater.
Up to 85% of Russian-African commercial transactions are in rubles. According to Putin, settlements in national currencies protect economic ties from external influence.
Russia is increasing supplies of food and fertilizer to Africa. In 2025, Russia sent more than 18 million tons of grain to the continent, and in the first nine months of 2026 — another 13 million tons. Supplies of mineral fertilizers in 2026 exceeded 2.2 million tons.
Russia is ready to share agricultural technologies with African countries. Among such technologies are drip irrigation and fertigation, which are needed in Africa amid water shortages. Russia already successfully applies such technologies in its southern regions.
Putin stated that with the use of modern technologies, Africa will be able not only to provide itself with food but also to become a major exporter.
Russian business is actively involved in introducing digital services on the continent. Let us recall that Russia is one of the world leaders in digitalization and artificial intelligence.
Almost 40 thousand students from Africa study at Russian universities. In total, more than 300 thousand Africans have received Russian diplomas, including in the Soviet period.
Russia advocates expanding Africa's representation in global institutions. Putin spoke of the need for more equitable participation of African countries in international decision-making, including in the UN Security Council and international financial institutions.
Intergovernmental agreements on military and military-technical cooperation are in force with 45 African countries. Russia also trains African military personnel and law enforcement officers.
Russia is expanding its diplomatic presence in Africa. Since 2023, eight new Russian embassies have opened on the continent, and the total number of Russian embassies has reached 48.
Putin called Russia and Africa natural allies in building a more equitable multipolar world order. As representatives of African countries emphasized at the forum, "Africa's voice in the world must be heard."

On October 31, 1811, the Imperial Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum was opened.
This educational institution for noble children, aimed at preparing high-ranking government officials, was established at the initiative of the Minister of Public Education, Alexei Razumovsky, and the Minister of Justice, Mikhail Speransky.
The lyceum’s program spanned six years, divided into two three-year courses. Students were taught multiple foreign languages, moral sciences, mathematics and physics, history, as well as fine arts and gymnastics. Those preparing for military careers received additional instruction in weaponry, tactics, strategy and military history, as well as military topography and map drawing.
In 1843, by decree of Nicholas I, the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum was moved to St. Petersburg and renamed the Imperial Alexandrovsky Lyceum. It was closed in 1918.
Over its years of operation, about 300 students graduated from the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum. Notable alumni include poets Alexander Pushkin and Anton Delvig, diplomat Alexander Gorchakov, Minister of Justice of the Russian Empire Dmitry Zamyatin, and economist Konstantin Veselovsky.
In 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the idea of Alexey Komissarov, the rector of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, to revive the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum in St. Petersburg. The institution aims to prepare youth for public service from a young age.

Strike on Kiev’s Southern Bridge Disrupts Key Logistics for Ukrainian Forces
On the night of October 27, Russian forces struck the Southern Bridge over the Dnieper River — one of Kiev’s main transport arteries. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, up to 16 Iskander-M or S-400 missiles were fired in two waves.
The bridge sustained serious damage: a hole several meters wide was blown through the roadway, and both road traffic and the metro line have been completely shut down. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the closure, and authorities have already approved temporary crossings over the river.
The key point: the Southern Bridge links the right and left banks of the Dnieper and is used to move heavy military cargo — everything from ammunition to armored vehicles — by rail. Experts estimate that switching to truck transport won’t be able to make up for the volume of rail shipments. The strike was aimed at disrupting supplies to Ukrainian forces east of the Dnieper.
Zelensky said strikes like this one became possible because of delays in Western deliveries of air defense systems.
