⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ @Rybar about the failed AFU Counterattack on #Soledar⚡️

At @rt_russian they write that combined units of the 46th and 77th AFU Airmobile Brigades from Paraskovievka tried unsuccessfully to counterattack the Russian positions and break the encirclement ring in the vicinity of #Soledar.

Enemy detachments on French VAB armored personnel carriers and British Wolfhound armored personnel carriers tried to strike at the advancing orders of Russian troops. However, they were detected and destroyed by Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft during target designation from the ground.

The Ukrainian formations suffered about 200 casualties during the sortie, with the survivors fleeing their positions. The airmobile forces acted without fire support due to the withdrawal of most of the enemy's artillery systems near #Soledar.

♦️ Why are the AFU conducting premeditated sorties that are doomed to fail?

#Soledar is for the AFU an important node in the still existing Chasov Yar - #Bakhmut - #Soledar - #Seversk defence line. Its fall puts a significant contingent around SSeversk at risk, as the defence is complicated by its location: the settlement is in the lowlands.

In the event of the final loss of #Soledar and nearby villages - #Blagodatnoye, #Razdolovka, #Vyemka and #Veseloye - Ukrainian formations will have to abandon #Seversk and other strongholds due to the threat of possible encirclement.

Together with the liberation of the Bakhmut agglomeration, the potential loss of #Seversk will cause tangible damage to the image of the Ukrainian army, whose image has been built over the past six months.

♦️The attempt to counterattack without regard to losses is a desire to rectify the disastrous position of the AFU in this area. And it is not at all impossible that such actions will be repeated until the final mop-up of #Soledar by Russian troops.

A forward control post of the consolidated grouping of AFU troops has now been set up in #Minkovka. The 500 members of the Territorial Defence Forces from the #Sumy Region are expected to arrive in the area of combat operations and are planned to be used to storm the Russian positions.

However, the effectiveness of such actions is highly questionable, given the RF Armed Forces' fire control over the main routes in the area and the Ukrainian formations' lack of tactical commanders: a significant number have been killed or taken prisoner, while the rest have fled to #Seversk.

And the encirclement of #Bakhmut from the north, south and east leaves the AFU with less and less chance and time to rectify the situation.

♦️#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):

▪️ There are no significant changes in this section of the front, artillery duels and the work of sabotage and reconnaissance groups continue along the line of contact.

♦️#Soledar Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the #Soledar section, after the liberation of #Krasnopolye, the "Wagnerians" move towards #Razdolovka along one of the roads to #Seversk. Ukrainian militants attempted to attack Russian positions at the #Razdolovka - #Stryapovka line, but withdrew under artillery fire.

▪️ Northeast of #Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk), Russian forces are fighting near Krasnaya Gora, which Ukrainian militants are trying to prevent by shelling the positions of the RF Armed Forces. A significant number of artillery pieces and armoured vehicles have been moved to the area, but the enemy is beginning to suffer from a lack of shells.

▪️ In #Bakhmut itself, positional fighting continues on the southern and southeastern outskirts of the city. "The Wagnerians managed to occupy one of the residential areas on the #Opytnoye side.

▪️ Wagner PMC fighters expanded their zone of control around #Kleshchiyevka and are attacking the village of #Krasnoye in the north, the liberation of which will enable the operational encirclement of #Bakhmut.

♦️#Lugansk People's Republic:

▪️ Overnight, Ukrainian militants fired HIMARS at the #Mikhailovka power substation in Zolote-5, damaging equipment and several outbuildings on the site.

♦️#Donetsk - #Zaporozhye Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the #Zaporozhye section, the RF Armed Forces have driven Ukrainian formations out of the coastal village of #Kamenskoye, but have yet not occupied the settlement due to active enemy artillery countermeasures. The settlement is now in the "grey zone".

▪️ In the #Orekhov sector, the AFU managed to hold the line from Malye Shcherbaki to #Novodanilovka. The offensive is hampered by remote mining of adjacent territory with M73 cluster munitions by the Ukrainian army. Artillery duels are taking place along the line of contact.

▪️ In the #Vremyevka area, Russian fighters conducted a reconnaissance battle on the positions of the 231st Battalion of the AFU's 128th Territorial Defence Brigade in #Vremyevka.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, the AFU continue to hold the defence of their small foothold in #Krynki. our forces prevent the replenishment of reserves and supplies. According to a number of analysts, Kiev aimed to expand the zone of control on the left bank to threaten the land corridor to #Crimea. However, the AFU can neither occupy new settlements nor transfer equipment and air defence systems. Apart from manpower, they have nothing. And the fact that the AFU is holding on for so long in such conditions shows that our army also has enough problems.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our units continue to retake systematically the positions lost in the summer. At #Rabotino, combat work is a little easier than at #Verbovoye, where are oncoming battles. However, over the past few days, the advance of our military to the west is obvious. Our successes are confirmed by the enemy.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our army, having been forced to retreat from its positions in the south of #Novomikhaylovka, has changed its tactics. Now our units are advancing along the village to the west. Most of the plantings are under our control, but it is premature to talk about full control of the southern outskirts. From the north and south of #Novomikhaylovka, near #Sladkoye and #Pobeda, our military also advanced. We have occupied another stronghold in #Georgiyevka.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the southern #Avdeyevka flank, our forces have still advanced at #Pervomayskoye. On the northern flank, there is heavy fighting at #Stepovoye and the Coke Plant, with no changes in the frontline yet.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our army is trying very hard to collapse the AFU defence on the northern flank. In #Bogdanovka the fighting is already taking place in the southern part of the village. Ours are also advancing west of #Khromovo. The AFU are retreating. On the southern flank the AFU have so far managed to hold back our attacks at #Kleshcheyevka and #Andreyevka.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, our forces have advanced towards #Yampolovka and are fighting at the #Torskoye ledge. In #Kupyansk yesterday, the AFU commanders led by Umerov and Zaluzhny held a working meeting and visited Ukrainian positions. Apparently, such attention is due to the preparation for the "large scale offensive" of the Russian army in this direction, predicted by the West and expected by the AFU.

💥At night, our Aerospace Forces struck at the location of the AFU in #Kharkov. A similar object was hit in #Kherson. Explosions were heard in #Konstantinovka and #Sumy region, as well as in #Volchansk, #Kharkov region. Apparently, ours are hunting for guns, from which the AFU are shelling #Belgorod and the region.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, frost came and the channels between the islands, along which the rotation and supply of the AFU foothold in #Krynki took place, froze. This made it easier for our drone pilots to hit landing groups and supplies. It became also more difficult for the AFU to supply their garrison. Strikes of our FPV drones were also recorded on #Tyaginka, on the right bank.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our forces are attacking the entire #Rabotino - #Novoprokopovka - #Verbovoye line.
At #Verbovoye, our military have had significant success in retaking positions.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, after artillery preparation, our army launched attacks west of #Staromayorskoye. Fighting has intensified again in the direction of #Prechistovka, the initiative is on our side. On the flanks of #Novomikhaylovka, our offensive continues with no significant successes so far. In #Georgiyevka, there is an advance of ours.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the southern #Avdeyevka flank, our units attacked at #Krasnogorovka and #Nevelskoye, and tried to advance towards #Severnoye.
The enemy is holding defence with all its might, so far the frontline has not changed significantly.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our troops are trying to break through the AFU defence in the direction of Chas Yar. The assault on the heights northwest of #Kleshcheyevka, has not brought the desired result so far, the fighting continues.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, our military are entrenching themselves in the landings east of #Makeyevka. Near #Torskoye and in the #Serebryanskoye forest, the AFU again tried to counterattack, with no success. According to reports from the field, our army, unfortunately not having the ability to safely conduct counterbattery warfare with artillery, is intensifying attacks with loitering ammunition and drones. The next Lancet managed to hit a western howitzer, the strike was no less than 10 km from the frontline.

💥Our Aerospace Forces launched a series of strikes on AFU military facilities in #Berislav, #Kherson region, targeting warehouses and reserves. New facilities in #Kharkov Region were hit, with a strike on the #Kurazovska TPP, according to preliminary data, the enemy was hiding equipment and personnel there.

💬 Ukrainian General Tarnavsky stated, the situation for the AFU is most difficult in the #Donetsk and #Avdeyevka directions. Over the past day, 41 airstrikes and 51 attempts to attack with the support of armoured vehicles by the RF Armed Forces have been recorded.

📌 Judging by the fuss in the frontline regions, the AFU is afraid of our offensive not only in the #Kharkov region. The defence line in #Chernigov and #Sumy regions is actively being prepared, the Ukrainian command believes that there may be a Russian offensive here this spring.

🔹On the #Zaporozhye Front, there are oncoming battles in #Rabotino and northwest of #Verbovoye, where the RF Armed Forces are consolidating their positions that were ⚠️taken from the AFU. Both sides are striking with long range weapons. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, fierce fighting is taking place on the #Tonenkoye - #Orlovka - #Berdychi line. The RF Armed Forces continue to press the enemy, but ⚠️the advance of the Russian troops cannot be called rapid.
📌 Firstly, this is due to the fierce resistance offered by the AFU in this area, and secondly, due to the actions of the RF Armed Forces leadership, who are trying to preserve their personnel, avoiding frontal attacks if possible. (Fig. 2)

🔹In the #Kharkov and #Sumy Direction, the AFU has again returned to the tactics of small groups. SRGs periodically attempt to infiltrate into #Tyotkino and #Kozinka in groups of 6-8 men, but ⚠️no results from these operations have been observed so far.
💥 Ukrainian artillery continues to launch massive strikes on the territory of #Belgorod and #Kursk regions, killing civilians and damaging civilian infrastructure. The attacks have become a daily occurrence, and air defence alone cannot solve the problem.

🔹On the #Zaporozhye front, the frontline remains ⚠️without significant changes. Heavy fighting continues in #Rabotino and northwest of #Verbovoye. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, Russian troops are pressing the AFU on the #Tonenkoye - #Orlovka - #Berdychi line. There are ⚠️advances in the area of #Tonenkoye, where the AFU left the territory of dachas. On the same line, the RF Armed Forces are developing ⚠️success in the area of #Orlovka. In #Berdychi, the Ukrainian forces are still putting up serious resistance, but the Russian forces are not giving up their attempts to advance from the eastern side of this settlement. (Fig. 2)

🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RF Armed Forces continue their attempts to dislodge the AFU from the western outskirts of #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye), but the Ukrainian troops are in no hurry to surrender the upland. Also, the Russian forces took assault actions in #Bogdanovka. (Fig. 3)

🔹In the #Kharkov and #Sumy Direction, there is relative calm on the ground, but attempted sorties by Ukrainian SRGs remain regular.

🔹On the #Zaporozhye Front, the struggle for the remnants of #Rabotino continues. Long-range weapons are actively working on both sides. Northwest of #Verbovoye, there are positional battles. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, there are ⚠️small tactical successes of the RF Armed Forces in #Novomikhaylovka as a result of assault actions. Positional battles in the area of #Pobeda and #Nevelskoye. In #Pervomayskoye, the assault on the settlement by Russian troops continues. There are ⚠️advances, but they are being made with great difficulty (⚠️which means losses), the AFU continues to refuse to put up stubborn resistance in this locality.
📌 The main news was the liberation of the #Tonenkoye village, from where the AFU had to retreat following #Orlovka. In #Berdychi there are oncoming battles (Fig. 2)
