▪️On the night of October 21-22, a company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reinforced with armored vehicles, tried to gain a foothold on the hills south of Makiivka, but was driven back to the starting lines by artillery fire of the RF Armed Forces.
▪️In the afternoon of October 22, two armored personnel carriers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine resumed the assault on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Krasnopopovka area. Fierce fighting continues at the moment.
The Ukrainian command is deploying additional forces to the Makiivka site. There are active clashes along the line of contact between Kremennaya and Svatovo.
🔻During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shelling civilian infrastructure facilities and substations in Svatovo, Rubizhne, Popasna and Zaporozhye from HIMARS MLRS.

The heaviest fighting in the Starobelsk Sector is going on in the Liman area, where the AFU is trying to break through the Russian Armed Forces' defenses near Kremennaya.
▪️Before Ploshchanka, Ukrainian formations are attacking to retake positions to the west of the settlement that were lost during the recent Russian offensive.
▪️The entire area is being exchanged with barreled and rocket-propelled artillery strikes, the intensity of which has increased significantly compared to previous days. Russian Air Force aircraft are also operating in the area of the clash: they are striking the enemy with rocket and bomb strikes from extremely low altitudes.
▪️In the afternoon, enemy infantry launched an attack in the area between Nevsky and Ploshchanka, coming close to Russian positions. Russian Armed Forces units engaged in a small arms battle and artillery promptly struck the front line. The Ukrainian formations lost up to a platoon of fighters and were forced to retreat.
🔻Although the AFU failed to achieve any visible successes during the day, it is likely to continue attacks the next day in order to retake the lines lost in recent days. For this purpose, the Ukrainian command will use reserves from among the most prepared formations, which are now in the second echelon.

▪️ In the #Soledar section, after the liberation of #Krasnopolye, the "Wagnerians" move towards #Razdolovka along one of the roads to #Seversk. Ukrainian militants attempted to attack Russian positions at the #Razdolovka - #Stryapovka line, but withdrew under artillery fire.
▪️ Northeast of #Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk), Russian forces are fighting near Krasnaya Gora, which Ukrainian militants are trying to prevent by shelling the positions of the RF Armed Forces. A significant number of artillery pieces and armoured vehicles have been moved to the area, but the enemy is beginning to suffer from a lack of shells.
▪️ In #Bakhmut itself, positional fighting continues on the southern and southeastern outskirts of the city. "The Wagnerians managed to occupy one of the residential areas on the #Opytnoye side.
