⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ @Rybar about the failed AFU Counterattack on #Soledar⚡️

At @rt_russian they write that combined units of the 46th and 77th AFU Airmobile Brigades from Paraskovievka tried unsuccessfully to counterattack the Russian positions and break the encirclement ring in the vicinity of #Soledar.

Enemy detachments on French VAB armored personnel carriers and British Wolfhound armored personnel carriers tried to strike at the advancing orders of Russian troops. However, they were detected and destroyed by Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft during target designation from the ground.

The Ukrainian formations suffered about 200 casualties during the sortie, with the survivors fleeing their positions. The airmobile forces acted without fire support due to the withdrawal of most of the enemy's artillery systems near #Soledar.

♦️ Why are the AFU conducting premeditated sorties that are doomed to fail?

#Soledar is for the AFU an important node in the still existing Chasov Yar - #Bakhmut - #Soledar - #Seversk defence line. Its fall puts a significant contingent around SSeversk at risk, as the defence is complicated by its location: the settlement is in the lowlands.

In the event of the final loss of #Soledar and nearby villages - #Blagodatnoye, #Razdolovka, #Vyemka and #Veseloye - Ukrainian formations will have to abandon #Seversk and other strongholds due to the threat of possible encirclement.

Together with the liberation of the Bakhmut agglomeration, the potential loss of #Seversk will cause tangible damage to the image of the Ukrainian army, whose image has been built over the past six months.

♦️The attempt to counterattack without regard to losses is a desire to rectify the disastrous position of the AFU in this area. And it is not at all impossible that such actions will be repeated until the final mop-up of #Soledar by Russian troops.

A forward control post of the consolidated grouping of AFU troops has now been set up in #Minkovka. The 500 members of the Territorial Defence Forces from the #Sumy Region are expected to arrive in the area of combat operations and are planned to be used to storm the Russian positions.

However, the effectiveness of such actions is highly questionable, given the RF Armed Forces' fire control over the main routes in the area and the Ukrainian formations' lack of tactical commanders: a significant number have been killed or taken prisoner, while the rest have fled to #Seversk.

And the encirclement of #Bakhmut from the north, south and east leaves the AFU with less and less chance and time to rectify the situation.

🔹In the #Kherson-#Crimea Direction, counter fighting continued in #Krynki. At the moment, there is no talk of any of the warring parties having the upper hand on the ground.

🔹In the #Donetsk Direction, there is also fierce counter fighting on the southern and southeastern outskirts of #Novomikhaylovka.⚠️ The AFU does not want to leave the settlement, despite the coverage of their positions from three directions. The RF Armed Forces carried out assault operations west of #Maryinka, at #Nevelskoye, #Pervomayskoye, #Tonenkoye, #Severnoye (a settlement west of Avdeyevka). They attacked #Avdeyevka itself from the southeast from the industrial zone, east from Krutaya Balka and northeast near the Coke Plant. They also conducted offensive actions in the area of #Stepovoye (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions) and #Ocheretino.⚠️ There is progress in the latter area.

🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RF Armed Forces carried out assault operations on the heights northwest of #Kleshcheyevka, near #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye), in the area of #Khromovo and #Bogdanovka. There was also a new active area. Russian troops from the direction of #Berestovoye⚠️ advanced towards #Vyemka. The offensive is underway in the area of the motorway.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, our forces hit four boats with militants and a multifunctional radar. Despite the preservation of the AFU springboard, the area held by the enemy has halved. The combat work of our army continues.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, localised fights continue. The AFU unsuccessfully tried to attack near #Verbovoye. Our army continues to attack west of #Rabotino from #Novoprokopovka and #Novofyodorovka. Without any noticeable advance so far.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are stepping up their attacks north of #Priyutnoye and near #Staromayorskoye. The AFU has redirected considerable forces to #Avdeyevka. Our troops cover the AFU positions in #Novomikhaylovka, #Georgiyevka and #Pobeda with artillery fire. So far there are no changes in the frontline. Our assault on #Nevelskoye was unsuccessful.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the northern #Avdeyevka flank, our units have advanced on a broad front towards #Novokalinovo and #Ocheretino. Ours approached the #Zarya holiday village, which is located at a height between two branches of the railway line east of #Novobakhmutkovka. In fact, this is a large AFU fortified area. Also, our army advanced a bit towards #Berdychi. On the southern flank, the main actions are now aimed at hitting positions with long range artillery and suppressing rotations. On the southwestern outskirts of #Avdeyevka, the AFU brought significant reserves into the battle and pushed ours back from the approaches of the city to the Khimik microdistrict. The fighting continues.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our forces are trying to hold the occupied positions near #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) and #Khromovo in hard battles, while the AFU is attacking. Between #Ivanovka and #Bogdanovka, our troops are moving through the hills, and several more AFU positions have been taken. To the west of the city, there are battles for the expansion of the control zone at the dachas and for the old airfield. The Russian army is advancing from #Chernobylets village, which is already under our control, towards #Ivanovskoye. In the #Seversk sector, our military advanced to #Vyemka. This is the development of successful actions in #Spornoye. We can confidently talk about control of the eastern part of the village.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, the RF Armed Forces took positions on the heights towards #Ternami. It is reported from the field that the village itself is less than 2 km away. It is located in a lowland, which will make our task a little easier. Near #Sinkovka, another stronghold is occupied by our forces. The situation here remains difficult for both sides. Ours cannot actively advance because of dense mining, the enemy is holding the lines by all means, #Kupyansk is behind them.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, our aviation and artillery continue to hit ammo depots and AFU locations on the right bank, shelters on the left.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, a new area of our attacks, on #Nesteryanka northwest of #Kopani appeared. Active (counter)attacks by our military continue at #Verbovoye, our troops are clearing the AFU positions west of the village (⚠️yesterday there were repulsed AFU attacks). Ours are actively using Aerostar drone pilots are aiming artillery. The AFU respond with blows to our rear. They hit #Tokmak and #Molchansk.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces continue to squeeze the AFU from positions near #Staromayorskoye. To the west of the village, we managed to suppress the defence of the AFU at three strongpoints. At #Rovnopol, ours prevented the enemy from rotating, several AFU drone control points were hit. In #Maryinka sector, the southern flank of #Novomikhaylovka has stabilised. The territory that ours had to withdraw from a few days ago is grey zone. Our army is actively advancing northeast of the village, expanding the zone of control over the "Menagerie" (Zverinets fortified area).

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, our forces are developing success in the area of the treatment facilities at Coke Plant. Fierce fighting is going on at #Stepovoye. the AFU has quantitatively strengthened their units at #Berdychi and is holding back our attacks. In the eastern part of #Pervomayskoye, our troops are moving along Voroshilov Street and the Volna garden plots.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our army is storming the heights northwest of #Kleshcheyevka and advancing southwest of the village. Ukrainian resources reported that our forces began to storm #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye), advancing in small groups on the northern flank. A sudden attack by our army hit the AFU between #Vesyoloye and #Berestovoye, which are located northeast of #Soledar. It is reported that ours are moving towards #Vyemka, which is in the direction of #Seversk. An interesting twist.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, the AFU's attempt to counterattack in the area of the #Torskoye ledge was not successful. Ours, in turn, continued the attacks at #Yampolovka, today. However, without success. 🔹In the #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU counterattacked west of the village of #Rabotino. Prior to that, the RF Armed Forces had held the initiative here. However, the situation throughout the frontline in this area is quite dynamic. The Russian forces tried to advance from the direction of #Novoprokopovka, while the Ukrainian forces tried to move towards #Verbovoye. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces continue to storm #Novomikhaylovka from the south and east. They have received reinforcements in this area. Russian forces have a ⚠️small advance in the area of #Georgiyevka and #Pervomayskoye. The breakthrough into #Avdeyevka from the south-east has not yet brought operational success to the RF Armed Forces. There is fierce counter fighting in this area. The situation is the same in #Stepovoye (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions) and in the AFU-controlled #Novobakhmutovka (the settlement of the same name to the east is behind the RF Armed Forces). 🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, Russian troops ⚠️advanced in area of #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye). They are attacking #Bogdanovka. There the ⚠️AFU stabilised the situation. The RF AFU also conducted offensive actions from #Vesyoloye (a settlement northwest of Soledar) towards #Vyemka and in the area of #Spornoye. (Fig. 3)

🔹In the #Lugansk Direction, Russian forces continued their attacks on #Belogorovka. There were counter battles in the #Serebryanskoye forest south of #Dibrova and near #Terny. After the capture of #Krakhmalnoye, the RF Armed Forces, as expected, ⚠️advanced towards #Berestovoye. Since control over the N-26 section, if not destroyed, seriously complicated the logistics of the AFU in this village and throughout the bridgehead to the south. The RF Armed Forces also attacked #Sinkovka. ⚠️The AFU are holding their positions. (Fig. 4)

🔹In the #Zaporozhye Direction, Russian troops, supported by long range weapons, conducted assault operations on the western outskirts of #Rabotino village. They also attacked this settlement from #Novoprokopovka. The RF Armed Forces also conducted offensive actions from the direction of #Verbovoye.
📌 Everywhere there was a small ⚠️tactical advance. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces attacked in #Novomikhaylovka and #Georgiyevka after shelling. They also conducted assault operations at #Pervomayskoye. The frontline ⚠️did not change significantly. The Russian assault units managed to ⚠️advance through the forest plantations and reach the village of #Lastochkino.
📌 This village is important in terms of crossing a number of transport arteries. On the approach there is a water barrier in the form of the Durnaya Balka River and a cascade of ponds located in this area.
💥 Ukrainian positions in #Konstantinovka (not to be confused with the town of the same name southwest of Bakhmut), the town of #Krasnogorovka and Nyu-York (#Novgorodskoye) are under fire.
