🔹In the #Zaporozhye direction, the RF Armed Forces have the initiative at the moment. They are conducting assault operations west of #Rabotino village, from the direction of #Novoprokopovka and #Novofyodorovka, continuing their attempts to eliminate the Ukrainian bridgehead.⚠️ Over the past day, the frontline did not change significantly. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces continued their assault operations near #Novomikhaylovka.⚠️ Without success.⚠️⚠️ But in #Maryinka they practically took control of the entire territory, advancing on the northwestern outskirts beyond the river. Russian troops also attacked in the direction of #Tonenkoye, from the industrial zone southeast of #Avdeyevka, the Coke Plant in the northeast, in the area of #Stepovoye (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions) and #Berdychi.⚠️ There is a tactical advance in the last two listed areas. 🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RF Armed Forces continued their assault on the heights northwest of #Kleshcheyevka. They also conducted offensive actions from the direction of #Khromovo and in the area of #Bogdanovka in order to reach the main AFU stronghold in Chasovy Yar.⚠️ The AFU are holding their positions. 🔹In #Kherson Direction, our forces have approached the central part of #Krynki in bitter fighting. In the area already liberated from the enemy, ours are clearing out cellars. AFU boats were hit again on the #Dnieper. It is reported from the field that the AFU grouping on the right bank has significantly decreased.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, despite the cold and rains, our troops are retaking positions step by step. At the #Verbovoye - #Rabotino line the enemy tried several times to counterattack from different positions, but all attacks were firmly repulsed.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, fierce fighting continues on the outskirts of #Novomikhaylovka. The combat is going on in the south and southeast of the village. Ours are trying to advance along the road. They also continue to push the enemy west of #Maryinka.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the northern #Avdeyevka flank, our army, according to unconfirmed info, took #Stepovoye under control. Whether this is true or not, we will soon find out. But in any case the initiative in this direction is ours. On the southern flank, our forces are increasing the power of their attacks at #Severnoye, building on their recent success. Artillery attacks on AFU positions at Coke Plant are continuing.
📌 The issue of the AFU withdrawal from #Avdeyevka is periodically discussed in the Ukrainian media. But no decision is made by the leadership, and the possibilities of a retreat are shrinking day by day. Almost all roads from #Avdeyevka are under our tight fire control.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our forces have taken control of another AFU stronghold northwest of the city. At #Bogdanovka our army is trying to hold the initiative of attacks, but there is no advancement so far. Near the road towards Chasov Yar, AFU drones are attacking our positions. At #Kleshcheyevka, heavy fighting continues, our forces are trying to push the enemy out of the remaining positions. Near #Andreyevka, hard combat.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, the AFU is making efforts to expand their foothold. And it must be recognised that to date the attempts of our forces to push them back have not been successful. The move of the AFU by strengthening the air defence on the right bank and near #Kherson also helps them so far. Our aircrafts have not made combat sorties in this area for the last few days. The tight work of the AFU's electronic warfare service also complicates our military's efforts. Whether it is a potentially promising direction for the enemy or not, they are squeezing the maximum out of it.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, fighting has intensified again near #Gulyaypole. The enemy is suffering significant losses, but so far our troops have not been able to advance, but near #Rabotino they continue to do so.

🔹In the #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are literally dismantling the enemy's positions in #Novomikhaylovka with FABs and artillery, and are preparing for a ground assault. The AFU are trying to counterattack, without success. The loss of the so-called "#Menagerie" (#Zverinets) zone in the southeast of the village has significantly complicated the position of the AFU. Advances are also being recorded in the direction of #Pobeda.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the #Avdeyevka front, it is reported that the AFU command is moving headquarters, rotation points and hospitals from the city itself to #Ocheretino, which is the last major fortification. Then only the steppes of #Donbass up to #Pokrovsk, where the AFU headquarters was recently hit. There is an opinion that Kiev plans to withdraw the main forces from #Avdeyevka itself, leaving only mercenaries and special forces. The decision may be influenced by the encirclement of #Berdychi on the northern flank by our army. From #Stepovoye, which is now being fought over, to its outskirts is about 1.5 km. Near #Gorlovka, the AFU again tried to attack. Our units confidently repulsed them. At #Ocheretino, our forces have taken a number of positions. 🔹In #Bakhmut Direction our forces are advancing west of the city. The enemy is not trying to counterattack yet, he is giving up his positions. At #Bogdanovka, our forces advanced and took a number of other positions. But at #Kleshcheyevka our forces repelled a major AFU counterattack. The enemy had no success, lost men and two IFVs. At #Andreyevka ours attacked with the support of artillery, without success.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, the enemy tried to counterattack at #Torskoye and #Dibrova, our forces held their positions. In the #Kupyansk sector in #Sinkovka our stormtroopers continue to advance. Now our attacks at #Sinkovka, unfortunately, resemble the frontal attacks of the AFU at #Rabotino in the summer.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, heavy fighting continues in #Krynki. The AFU springboard did not undergo any changes over the course of the day. On the river, our army sunk several more boats with AFU personnel.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, movement of both troops is hampered by rain and wet snow. Our forces continue their attempts to retake positions. Counterattacks by our army have been recorded near #Rabotino and #Verbovoye. No advancement was achieved over the past day.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction in #Novomikhaylovka, the AFU are putting up fierce resistance to our assault groups. Our units continue their attacks on the southern and southeastern outskirts of the village. To the north, near #Pobeda, there are also fierce clashes.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the #Avdeyevka front, the AFU have abandoned part of their positions on the approaches to Coke Plant, after a long period of fierce fighting. The main efforts are still aimed at the fire destruction of the AFU positions on the territory of the plant. Since nightfall, our troops have been conducting continuous shelling again. At #Novokalinovo new positions near the reservoir have been taken. Our army is advancing near #Nevelskoye and #Pervomayskoye.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our troops are advancing near #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye). Also at #Bogdanovka, where ours managed to gain a foothold in the forest belt in the north of the village. #Bogdanovka is actually an approach to Chasov Yar, one of the key points of the AFU defence in this area. New attempts to regain positions at #Andreyevka, as well as at #Vesyoloye (north of #Soledar), are still unsuccessful for now.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, our artillery is actively working, striking AFU positions along the entire line of contact. At #Dibrova and #Sinkovka, all attempts by the AFU to counterattack were confidently repulsed by our army.

From 100 to 300 Ukrainian soldiers are constantly present in the center of the village, replacing each other under constant heavy fire from our army. They write that they are trying to supply them with drones. With rotation, this course, will not work for them.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our forces retook several more positions west of #Rabotino and southwest of #Verbovoye. Ours pay a lot of attention to the defeat of enemy equipment and reserves by artillery and drones.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, heavy oncoming battles continue near #Novomikhaylovka. Our military is consolidating in the recently conquered positions. Building on the success of #Georgiyevka and #Pobeda, they took some more positions.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, our forces of the have taken control of several AFU key strongholds in #Pervomayskoye on the southern #Avdeyevka front, clearing is underway. Active fighting continues at #Nevelskoye, #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye. On the northern flank, our army entered the territory of the #Ivushka village, which is southwest of the sewage treatment plants near Coke Plant. They are also storming the AFU positions in the village of #Ivushka2. In the northeast of #Stepovoye, ours also advanced. However, our forces do not have full control over the territory of the village, moreover, the AFU have transferred well-trained squads there.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, on the southern flank, positional battles continue near #Kleshcheyevka and #Andreevka. The control area from #Khromovo has been expanded. On the heights, our troops took four more enemy strongholds, despite the zealous resistance of the AFU.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, in the #Kremennaya sector, ours report the defeat of two AFU armored vehicles and a howitzer at #Dibrova. In the #Kupyans sector, there are oncoming battles at #Sinkovka and #Kislovka. Positions are constantly changing hands, most of the latter is in the grey zone.

💥It is confirmed that yesterday’s strike on western #Ukraine destroyed a batch of missiles for the Patriot air defence system. Today, our Aerospace Forces launched another attack on theAFU's air-shell depot in #Dolgintsevo, #Dnepropetrovsk region. Systematic attacks by our army on airfields and infrastructure may cause Western countries to delay the process of transferring F-16 fighters to #Ukraine.

The situation is the same in #Stepovoye (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions) and in the AFU-controlled #Novobakhmutovka (the settlement of the same name to the east is behind the RF Armed Forces). 🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, Russian troops ⚠️advanced in area of #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye). They are attacking #Bogdanovka. There the ⚠️AFU stabilised the situation. The RF AFU also conducted offensive actions from #Vesyoloye (a settlement northwest of Soledar) towards #Vyemka and in the area of #Spornoye. (Fig. 3)

🔹In the #Lugansk Direction, Russian forces continued their attacks on #Belogorovka. There were counter battles in the #Serebryanskoye forest south of #Dibrova and near #Terny. After the capture of #Krakhmalnoye, the RF Armed Forces, as expected, ⚠️advanced towards #Berestovoye. Since control over the N-26 section, if not destroyed, seriously complicated the logistics of the AFU in this village and throughout the bridgehead to the south. The RF Armed Forces also attacked #Sinkovka. ⚠️The AFU are holding their positions. (Fig. 4)

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Frontline #Summary for the Morning of 28 February 2024; pub. 08:02⚡️

🔹In the #Zaporozhye Direction, the RF Armed Forces, supported by artillery, continued their offensive from the west and south on the #Rabotino village and also resumed their offensive northwest of #Verbovoye. The AFU are ⚠️holding their positions. (Fig. 1)

🔹In the #Ugledar Section, the RF AFU tried to advance north of #Priyutnoye after shelling. ⚠️Without success.

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, Russian troops supported by long range weapons attacked #Novomikhaylovka, #Georgiyevka and #Pervomayskoye. The frontline ⚠️did not change significantly. Similar actions in the area of #Tonenkoye and #Orlovka resulted in a ⚠️tactical success, which the RF Armed Forces can convert into an operational success.
📌 Both villages are on key routes to the line of contact. Plus they are located in lowlands in relation to the Russian zone of control.

🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RF Armed Forces are trying to break through to the main AFU fortification in Chasov Yar via #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) and #Bogdanovka. So far, the AFU are ⚠️holding their positions, but they are doing so with great difficulty.
📌 The possible loss of the first of these settlements will be especially sensitive for them. The N-32 route in the conditions of thawing will give the RF Armed Forces an opportunity to use armoured vehicles for an offensive on Chasov Yar.

🔹In the #Lugansk Direction, there are tough oncoming battles in the #Serebryanskoye Forest south of #Dibrova. The RF Armed Forces are attacking near #Yampolovka and #Terny in order to reach the cascade of reservoirs on the left bank of the Zherebets River. They are also straining the AFU in #Sinkovka. But not so actively anymore.
