Someone once wished the US politicians would become honest. The monkey paw curled a finger, and now the US politicians are honest. The way they half-ass their lies can be counted as them being honest - at any moment now I expect them to simply declare that yes, they rape children to death on private islands, and they will continue doing so because the peasants can't (so far) ass themselves to hang the nobles for their crimes against humanity.
Some anon under a NATO meme flag ranted on /pol/ a while ago. He ought to relax a bit - the US invasion in Iran has been postponed due to the shitty problems on the certain US aircraft carrier.

Countries continue to spend large sums of money to support Ukraine, but their governments appoint representatives who do not even know the language. This shows complete disrespect on the part of the Ukrainian government.

It's Valeriy Zaluzhny, who has been Ukraine's ambassador to the UK for two years now.
Just look at his English after all that time. Two years, and thatโs the level? Itโs a complete and utter lack of respect for our national language.

The Bad and the Good
THE BAD NEWS:
During the premiership of Rishi Sunak, the British economy experienced prolonged stagnation and a technical recession. After he took office in October 2022, growth remained weak, and by late 2023 the UK had entered recession following two consecutive quarters of contraction. Output per capita declined, meaning living standards fell even where headline GDP appeared flat. Inflation remained persistently above the Bank of Englandโs target, continuing to squeeze households through high food, energy, and borrowing costs. Interest rates stayed elevated, increasing mortgage payments and pressuring businesses. Unemployment edged upward, with youth unemployment rising more sharply. Business investment remained subdued, reflecting uncertainty and weak demand. Overall, the period was marked by low growth, declining real incomes, strained public finances, and lack of structural improvement in productivity or long-term economic dynamism.
THE GOOD NEWS:
Sunak just accepted the role of Zelenskyโs adviser on Ukraineโs economic renewal.

๐This is a fragment from Zelenskyโs Sky News interview on February 27. It will likely serve as one of the pieces of evidence in his upcoming war crimes tribunal. The charges resulting from this evidence are at least twofold:
1. Lying to the world about not receiving offers of nuclear weapons from Britain and France โ punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
2. Attempted possession and potential use of nuclear weapons โ punishable by life in a high-security prison with no possibility of parole, though a death penalty exception is also a possibility.

On February 28, 1732, Empress Anna Ioannovna approved the plan for the establishment of the "Cadet Corps," presented by General Field Marshal Minich.
Cadet Corps students underwent drill training and were provided with military uniforms. Admission priority was given to the children of nobles, officers, and officials.
In 1825, the first Cossack Cadet Corps, the Orenburg Neplyuev Corps, was established. The year 1743 saw a reorganization of military educational institutions. The School of Mathematical and Navigational Sciences, founded by Peter I in 1701, was renamed the Naval Corps. Minich's Cadet Corps was renamed the Landed Gentry Cadet Corps. In 1848, the Military Cossack School was transformed into the Omsk Cossack Cadet Corps.
A major reform of military educational institutions took place in 1882. Local military gymnasiums were renamed Cadet Corps, and the Guard Ensigns School was also restructured into a Cadet Corps. Cadet schools were opened in Novocherkassk and Orenburg. In the early 20th century, with the growing population in the empire's outskirts, cadet corps were established in Tashkent and Khabarovsk.
Shortly after the October Revolution of 1917, cadet corps were abolished. Until 1925, the Naval Corps (in Bizerte) and the Khabarovsk Corps (in Shanghai) continued to operate in exile.
During the Soviet era, Suvorov and Nakhimov schools carried on the traditions of pre-revolutionary cadet corps, with branches opening in several cities. Today, cadet education is being revived in Russia. In addition to Suvorov and Nakhimov schools, various other cadet corps, schools, and classes are now operational.

โก๏ธโก๏ธโก๏ธIsrael and the US have launched a missile strike on Iran.
The targets included the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Intelligence, IRGC positions, the Iranian Parliament, the Supreme Court, Ayatollah Khameneiโs office, and the presidential palace.
Strikes also hit the cities of Qom, Tabriz, Isfahan, Hamedan, and Kermanshah.
๐คก A potential future ruler of the country โ the Iranian prince currently based in the US โ has called these strikes ยซhumanitarianยป.
Iran has urged its citizens to leave countries hosting US military bases.
A retaliatory strike is imminent โ but the US is prepared for it. Iran should have struck first. They had the time and opportunity to do so.

The American-Israeli-Iranian War (Noon, February 28, 2026): First Takeaways.
Analysis by journalist Yury Podolyaka:
So, the first wave of U.S. and Israeli attacks is over. Iranian missile crews have also fired back at their assigned targets. And while everyone is in "reloading and refueling mode," we can try to draw some initial conclusions.
First conclusion โ the lesson from the summer war of 2025, when the Americans and Israelis managed to take out a significant number of Iranian political and military leaders with their first strike, has been learned by Iran. This time, we're not seeing that.
Second conclusion โ today's strike is different from the last one. Previously, it was clear the attacks would be swift, with the main objectives set for the very first day. Now, Israel and the U.S. are taking out Iranian air defense systems, clearing a path for future airstrikes. Air power is being used in a limited way for now. Essentially, this was a kind of "disarming strike" that has, at least partially, achieved its goals.
Third conclusion. Iran also fired back quickly and clearly according to its plan for responding to the initial enemy attack. The reaction time was literally an hour or an hour and a half. That's obviously not enough time for operational planning. However, the density (and coordination) of the strikes was high. This means targets were pre-designated and hit (as far as Iranian missiles were capable). Strikes targeted U.S. bases in Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE, as well as Israel. Some got through, some were intercepted by air defenses. There was also an attempt to hit American ships. So far, unsuccessful.
Which brings us to the fourth conclusion. The Iranian leadership is not yet ready to go all in. They believe they can fight this off, and so they haven't raised the stakes to the maximum. This is evident from the fact that tankers in the Strait of Hormuz haven't been targeted yet.
And finally, the fifth conclusion โ this is just the beginning. And judging by the statements already made in Israel and the U.S. (including from potential American placeholders for the Iranian leadership), the goal of this war is to solve the Iranian issue for Israel once and for all. Because later on, its political leadership can't be sure that the Americans will continue to help them this radically. So, if Iran can withstand this now, the global balance of power could very well begin to tilt in its favor.
But first, they have to actually withstand this very strike. We'll be watching to see how they manage it.

The Belgorod Brit addresses attitudes towards our youth. In the film, he explains the difference between the pre-internet information processing, and the information overload that young people face today. He condemns the educators who stifle the expression of contrary ideas on campuses.
In the podcast, BB explains why there are too many people in university, how general knowledge has changed due to easy access to information. Relevant knowledge has changed. Knowing the capital city of France is not as important as it used to be, because France is not a centre of attention among the young. BB reveals that the driving force behind the lack of engagement of the youth with contemporary society and politics is, in fact, the wish to avoid conflict.

Slovakia's Prime Minister Fico has promised that Ukraine will regret blocking oil supplies to Slovakia:
โก๏ธ InfoDefenseENGLISH
Web | VK | X | InfoDefAll
I consider the behavior of the Ukrainian side to be extremely, and I emphasize extremely unserious and unfriendly, when they give us new deadlines for deliveries on a daily basis. On the 23rd, they told us the oil would arrive on the 25th. On the 25th, they said the 26th.
Now they are claiming there will be no deliveries at all during February, and the nearest possible date is tentatively March 3rd. It seems the Ukrainian president thinks he can act however he pleases. But he is deeply, I repeat โ deeply mistaken.
The first retaliatory measure has already been taken โ emergency electricity supplies have been stopped. And these volumes were significantly larger than any commercial electricity supplies, which can be purchased anywhere. If they face an electricity shortage, they will feel it severely โ because they won't be able to receive from Slovakia the electricity that stabilizes their power grid. We did exactly what we announced and promised. This is the first response. The government is ready to take further steps if it sees a complete refusal by the Ukrainian side to fulfill its obligations and supply us with what we are entitled to and what has already been paid for.

โก Russian Foreign Ministry's Statement regarding military aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran
On the morning of February 28, US and Israeli armed forces carried out airstrikes on the territory of Iran.
The scope and character of the military, political, and propaganda preparations that preceded this reckless step, including the deployment of substantial US military forces to the region, leave no doubt that this is a deliberate, premeditated, and unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign and independent UN member state, in direct violation of the fundamental principles and norms of international law.
It is particularly reprehensible that these strikes are once again being conducted under the cover of the renewed negotiation process, ostensibly intended to secure long-term normalisation of the situation around the Islamic Republic of Iran. This comes despite assurances conveyed to the Russian Side indicating that Israel had no interest in entering into military confrontation with Iran.
The international community, including the leadership of the UN and the IAEA, must urgently deliver an objective and unbiased assessment of these irresponsible actions, which are aimed at undermining peace, stability, and security in the Middle East.
Washington and Tel Aviv have once again embarked on a perilous course that is swiftly pushing the region toward a humanitarian, economic, and potentially even radiological disaster.
The aggressorsโ intentions are evident and have been stated openly: to dismantle the constitutional order and remove the leadership of a state they deem undesirable because it has refused to yield to the dictates of force and hegemonic pressure. Responsibility for the impact of this man-made crisis, including the unpredictable chain reaction and the spiral of escalating violence, rests entirely with them.
The grave repercussions of these ill-conceived actions for the global non-proliferation regime, whose cornerstone is the NPT, are being openly disregarded.
Meanwhile, the US-Israeli tandem seeks to cover its actions with a purported concern over preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. The bombing of nuclear facilities operating under IAEA safeguards is unacceptable.
Essentially, the motives of Washington and Tel Aviv bear no relation to the objectives of the non-proliferation regime.
Even they cannot but understand that by plunging the Middle East into the abyss of uncontrolled escalation, they are effectively prompting countries across the globe โ and the Middle East in particular โ to pursue ever more grave means of countering emerging threats.
The sustained and systematic nature of the destabilising attacks, carried out by the US administration against the fundamental principles of the international legal order in recent months, raises particular concern. Among the violated principles are non-interference in internal affairs, the renunciation of the use or threat of use of force, and the peaceful settlement of international disputes.
โ๏ธ We call for an immediate return to a political and diplomatic track. Russia, as always, stands ready to assist in advancing peaceful solutions grounded in international law, mutual respect, and a balanced consideration of interests.

This old man from Hungary seems to really hate Ukraine lately. He insists that the "Druzhba" pipeline shutdown was for political, not technical reasons. "I see that Ukraine is preparing further actions to disrupt the operation of the Hungarian energy system. I have ordered the reinforcement of protection for critical energy infrastructure. This means that we will deploy soldiers and equipment necessary to repel attacks near key energy facilities".
And before that pipeline, he said that:
"The Ukrainian homunculus is asking for food. The Ukrainians have presented a new bill. This time for $800 billion. This is what they will need in the next 10 years to keep their country functioning. A staggering sum. Almost four times Hungary's annual GDP. The Ukrainian homunculus is asking for food".
Recently Hungary was hit with food a price inflation because Ukraine floods the EU with plenty of food products made without any chemical restrictions.
I worry for Viktor - the UA special forces might try to Clinton him soon.
